HT Confusion

Hi all,

This is my first day as a member of this site, although I have been reading the different threads for some time now. I live in Sydney Australia and I have finally made the decision to go for a HT.

Now let the confusion begin. To cut a long story short I have come across a couple of places that look the goods when it comes to the actual procedure. Hasson & Wong have told me that I need @4500 grafts for receding hair line and crown area.

 

So my question/s for anyone that can help me make up my mind are.

1. Has anybody heard of or dealt with Hair Club Lahore, Pakistan.

2. Has anybody been to Hasson & Wong In Canada that currently live in Sydney?

3. Do you guys have suggestions for other HT clinics for those living in Australia?

4. Would Dr. Damkerng Pathomvanich be a good option as he is a lot closer and also a lot cheaper than H & W?

 

Currently I am about 80% decided on Hasson & Wong, as they have a fair bit of experience and a pretty good track record. Having said that I have not actually seen the work first hand on a patient.

 

I am about 3 weeks away from making my final decision and committing to H&W.

Any information or guidance will be greatly appreciated and hopefully after my procedure I can return the favor through my personal experience to anyone considering HT in the future.

Al,

 

I think I've heard of the hair club in LaHore but only from someone else mentioning them on the forum.

 

I actually have a patient from Oz in town right now that had his procedure just over two weeks ago. He has been here a few times already to correct some unfortunate procedures he had from various doctors in Australia over the years. I don't think he's from Sydney but he is from a town relatively nearby. I believe he is going to share his story soon but in the mean time, if you like, you can pm me and I'll see if I can put you two in contact with each other.

Welcome to the forum. I say stick with your gut on this one. Sure you can find a lot of clinics cheaper than H&W but you won't find any better. But by all means try to meet some patients in person.
