Hi,

I just wanted introduce myself and ask a quick question. I have been lurking and reading this great forum for awhile and in my head I have my picks for a HT (Hasson+Wong and Dr Rahal) Their offices in Vancouver and Ottawa make it easy for me.

But my question to fellow forum members are there HT doctors you would recommend to goto in N. America?

I hope this is not a loaded question, I just want to make sure I am not limiting myself to Canada.

If the offices of H&W and Rahal are close to you then I think you are set. Of course, there are some great docs in the states as well but why bother when you got two of the best in the world right by you.

Dr. G: 1,000 grafts (FUT) 2008

Dr. Paul Shapiro: 2,348 grafts (FUT) 2009 ~ 1,999 grafts (FUT) 2011 ~ 300 grafts (Scar Reduction) 2013

Dr. Konior: 771 grafts (FUT) 2015 ~ 558 grafts (FUT) 2017 ~ 1,124 grafts (FUE) 2020

Agree. There are several top doctors in the states, but no doubt that you have two great clinics to choose from in Canada. You may want to consult with a couple in the US and make your final decision after you have had consults with several clinics. When you are choosing among top clinics it comes down to who you are the most comfortable with. Besides H&W and Rahal, I would consider consulting with the following in no particular order.....Dr. Gabel, Ron or Paul Shapiro, Dr. Konior, True & Dorin and Dr. Feller. There are certainly other really great doctors in the states, but that gives you a few of the top clinics to consult with if you choose. If not, you can't go wrong in choosing between H&W and Rahal. Just my 2 cents worth!

Surgery - Dr. Ron Shapiro FUT 6/14/11 - 3048 grafts

Surgery - Dr. Ron Shapiro FUE 1/28/13 & 1/29/13 - 1513 grafts
