Hair Transplant with Dr Pathomvanich (2050 grafts)

After months (or years) of toying around with the idea of a transplant, I had scheduled an HT with Dr Pathomvanich for 3rd October. I am happy with the way the surgery was handled and am back in India now.

 

Appended are the details of the surgery

 

Date - 3 Oct 2011

Age - 27 years

Total grafts - 2000 grafts (200 Single Hair, 1500 Double Hair, 300 Triple Hair)

How much per graft dr path charge ?

 

I have consulted him one year back and he said if i get 2000 grafts then it will be 85 bht per graft.

 

Is it still same ? i am considering him may be in six months time i will schedule it with him..

@ahmedabad_guy : While I was billed at 85 bahts/graft, I would recommend you to re-confirm the charges with them through email.

The design and the healing look well at this point. You should be very happy in a few months

Have updated the website with 1 month pics.

 

While I understand these are still early days, one can see slight growth on the temples. Roughly 50% of the grafts have stayed on (which is not a bad sign at all). Can't wait to see how things progress over the next few months..

Dr. Path doesn't shave the recipient areas? I assume no one can tell you had a transplant since he doesn't shave your head prior to the transplant.

@Steelworker - Nope. Did not get the recipient area shaved. And yes, no one can make out I had a transplant if i wear my hair long enough..
