Regular Member Dr. William Lindsey Posted October 11, 2011 Regular Member Posted October 11, 2011 Some of you all may recall that my daughter got cancer. She asked me to do a triathalon last year to raise money for cancer research and I got the bug... Unfortunately Julia's cancer recurred, and she is getting treatment at Duke University Medical Center this winter. So I'm planning to do the NYC ironman next year to raise money specifically for the lab that is developing cancer vaccines, that Julia and lots of other folks will get. As a warmup, we closed the office Friday and I took 3 of the techs to Myrtle Beach for a half ironman on Saturday. They were a great support team, and among the amateurs, I think I was the only guy with a 3 person cheering section. This picture is at the finish line where the girls were nice enough to present me with pizza and a beer. Dr. Lindsey McLean VA William H.
