Regular Member sea of possibilities Posted January 10, 2009 Regular Member Share Posted January 10, 2009 hi guys. it's been 2 months and a half since my second transplant procedure (a thickening one, if it matters at all) and i can still notice some (very few but they exist) of the recently transplanted hair shedding. shouldn't the shedding part have ended by now? is this normal? thanks cheers
Regular Member sea of possibilities Posted January 31, 2009 Author Regular Member Share Posted January 31, 2009 hi again. it's now been 3 months and a week since the transplant and i can still see some (few to be honest) "recently" transplanted hair shedding. can this be natural? I would really appreciate a reply, my doctor won't ever bother answering...
Senior Member Leeson Posted January 31, 2009 Senior Member Share Posted January 31, 2009 Shedding should of occurred 2-4 weeks after surgery. Could be the transplanted hairs that didn't shed, but continued to grow and are now shedding IMO. My Hair Loss Website - Dr. Hasson
Senior Member kaounis Posted February 1, 2009 Senior Member Share Posted February 1, 2009 When I had my first procedure, the transplanted hairs didn, start shedding untill 3+ months after. My Dr. said that as the new hair are beginning to grow, they push out the graphs which were transplanted. I guess if you are very cautios and wash gentlly, the transplanted graphs just sit there untill they get pushed out! Hope this helps.
