Regular Member IrishAndroid Posted October 21, 2009 Regular Member Share Posted October 21, 2009 http://holddownhair.com/index.php What do you guys think about this website for Propecia? I've heard bad things about online pharmacies, and want to be safe, but I'm on a serious budget with no health care. I checked their distributor, United Pharmacy, and it got some fairly negative, albeit mixed, reviews.
Senior Member hairthere Posted October 21, 2009 Senior Member Share Posted October 21, 2009 Get a prescription for proscar (generic propecia). you will have to cut the pill in quarters but from what i recall the cost is almost half. Bill - Seemiller
Jesus, is that another picture of Bobman? He's a Hasson and Wong patient. He certainly didn't get those results from Propecia. IrishAndroid, Personally, I'd stay away from ordering any product on a website that promotes false advertising. If they're going to use before/after hair transplant patients to advertise Propecia, stay away from them. If you want to save money, consult a qualified hair restoration physician and discuss getting a prescription for Proscar. It contains more finasteride per pill, but cutting it and taking one quarter daily will give you a very similar dosage as one Propecia pill. Best wishes, Bill
Senior Member Jotronic Posted October 21, 2009 Senior Member Share Posted October 21, 2009 Good grief. I think my job description is about to get modified to include "fraud enforcement" because this is getting to be a bit more commonplace. I have to keep telling myself that this is flattering for our clinic since so many other websites lift our patient results as their own. Senior Member Severn Posted October 21, 2009 Senior Member Share Posted October 21, 2009 WOW, what a great deal! Apparently each order of Propecia comes with a free 7800 graft transplant from Hasson and Wong! Seriously though. If all these places are going to rip off H&W, you would think they would at least not use the very first pic on the website. Laziest con artists ever. Senior Member M&M Posted October 21, 2009 Senior Member Share Posted October 21, 2009 This is just shameful of these sites. I mean, I'm glad they recognize great work, but really!! Unless of course Bobman is making a killing selling his photos on the side ___________________________ 1662 with Dr. Ron Shapiro - Spring 2006 1105 with Dr. Ron Shapiro - Fall 2009 M&M Weblog
