Regular Member nemo.shark Posted April 16, 2011 Regular Member Share Posted April 16, 2011 ive just started mixing zinc citrate with my minoxidil and liquid b6 and a few small drops of molybdenum, i have never had the increased heart beat side effects from minoxidil before until doing this combination, it seems to be putting more blood to my head makes me feel quite alert and awake. just wondered if anyone has tried putting Viagra with their minoxidil im tempted to try it for more blood flow. Regular Member nemo.shark Posted April 16, 2011 Author Regular Member Share Posted April 16, 2011 i know that other people have formulated there own solutions as minoxidil is a good carrier for other ingredients, but the Viagra thing is because minoxidil is thought to be based on nitric oxide a signaling molecule and vascular dilator like Viagra has nitric oxide and also a pde5 enzyme inhibitor which prevents catabolism of nitric oxide. Senior Member ziggy00 Posted April 18, 2011 Senior Member Share Posted April 18, 2011 You should definitely talk to a doctor or pharmacist before trying that. It sounds like it could be dangerous.
Senior Member RCWest Posted April 18, 2011 Senior Member Share Posted April 18, 2011 L Arginine also increases nitric oxide and to me would be a safer bet. Some people add it to their regimen along with L Lysine. Finasteride 1.25 mg. daily Avodart 0.5 mg. daily Spironolactone 50 mg twice daily 5 mg. oral Minoxidil twice daily Biotin 1000 mcg daily Multi Vitamin daily Damn, with all the stuff you put in your hair are you like a negative NW1?
