Freakishly good result!

Finasteride 1.25 mg. daily

Avodart 0.5 mg. daily

Spironolactone 50 mg twice daily

5 mg. oral Minoxidil twice daily

Biotin 1000 mcg daily

Multi Vitamin daily

Damn, with all the stuff you put in your hair are you like a negative NW1? :D

I have more pictures to post of this patient and will do so in the next few days.

Clearly he has an exceptional result for just 2000 grafts. But the million dollar question is why? GOOD PHYSIOLOGY.

Not only did he grow extremely thick, but fast as well. We should all have his good fortune.

Very nice but why didnt he use the FUE technique compared to strip? I thought the line scar is a thing of the past? Can he have a short haircut in the back if he desires?

Strip is still very much used as FUE has its limitations. Everyone wants FUE for obvious reasons however understand FUE as not everyone is a candidate for it.

See FUE results and of graft numbers successfully used to see:cool:

that is extremely clean looking post op work. polly the cleanest I have seen. my question is, do you (docs in general) transplant the corners a little less dense on purpose? when someone gets even their whole head done, it seems the corners are a little more see through.

Thank you all for the kind words.

Spanker,

I don't pack the corners any differently than the middle. It's just that on the edges you don't have the "back up" hair to make it look as thick as it would if you were looking straight on from the middle. Also, as in this case, many patients still have a bit of their forelock in the middle before surgery which combines with the new transplants to appear fuller than the corners which are usually totally bald prior to surgery.

We'll post more photos of this patient as he updates us further.

Excellent results! Is there anything we might learn from him - for example, did he do any exercises before/after? Did he take any vitamins/supplements?

Also, how exceptional is this for a young NW2?

I missed this one, so I'm a bit late with the accolades, but WOW. That is very nice hairline. Good job, Dr. Feller.

I have just had similar number of grafts last week with similar features to this gentlemen.

Clearly a great job and i would be over the moon with a result like that for myself.

2 poor unsatisfactory hair transplants performed in the UK.

Based on vast research and meeting patients, I travelled to see Dr Feller in New York to get repaired.
