Dr. Arocha - 2515 FUT, Female patient, 9 months after

Recommended Posts

This patient has female pattern hair loss characterized by diffuse thinning over the frontal and mid-scalp areas, she was a Ludwig II in the pre-surgery photos. We performed a FUT of 2515. As usual she was advised that the procedure was going to move more hair to increase the amount of hair growing in the transplanted area. Since her hair was very fine because of the overall miniaturization process she was recommended to start treatment with Rogaine 5% bid. The after surgery photos are taken at 9 months post-TP. These results confirm what we preach that the most efficacious treatment of male and female pattern hair loss is through combination therapy.

Excellent results! Women seem to do very well with hair transplantation.

Finasteride 1.25 mg. daily

Avodart 0.5 mg. daily

Spironolactone 50 mg twice daily

5 mg. oral Minoxidil twice daily

Biotin 1000 mcg daily

Multi Vitamin daily

Damn, with all the stuff you put in your hair are you like a negative NW1? :D
