Senior Member RCWest Posted September 21, 2010 Senior Member Share Posted September 21, 2010 Dr. Meshkin's work is usually flawless. I don't think you have anything to worry about. It looks like you are healing well! Finasteride 1.25 mg. daily Avodart 0.5 mg. daily Spironolactone 50 mg twice daily 5 mg. oral Minoxidil twice daily Biotin 1000 mcg daily Multi Vitamin daily Damn, with all the stuff you put in your hair are you like a negative NW1? Senior Member Danielkiwi Posted September 22, 2010 Senior Member Share Posted September 22, 2010 Hi BCC13 I took a look at your pictures and noticed that there are small holes all over your scalp...how many grafts did you get. I am not sure if that is normal coz i was told with top quality surgeons there is no scarring in the recipient area...maybe others can chime in as well and share their experiences...i do want to wish you all the best in the coming months...i think the hard part is about to get over and it can only get better from here!!! Regular Member BCC13 Posted September 22, 2010 Author Regular Member Share Posted September 22, 2010 I was wondering about that also i got a total of 3,230 graphs. I was hoping the holes would go away. Is that something that is permanent? Does anybody know what causes it?

Senior Member hairthere Posted October 1, 2010 Senior Member Share Posted October 1, 2010 Not to be an alarmist, but that scar looks very wide, and the grafts do not look very densely packed. bcc13, did you discuss with your doctor a strategy to go for overall coverage versus densely packing the frontal area? Senior Member waveskier Posted October 1, 2010 Senior Member Share Posted October 1, 2010 The hairs are very long already. I'm at 10 weeks post op and I might have half that much hair. How did that grow so fast?
