Scar very red at 2 months

BigBill1234,

It's not uncommon for scars to stay red beyond two months. Everyone heals differently. I don't believe that this is indicative of delayed healing due to stretching.

Have you consulted with your hair restoration physician about your concerns?

Redness generally peaks at 6 to 8 weeks. But problems also start at this time frame too. I'd suggest a visit to your doc for either reassurance or intervention.

In this type of surgery, you have to make sure that you understand your body. I would wait a bit longer before I would consult my doctor, but its your call, buddy.

Good luck!! Keep us updated on your progress.
