Christine,

Thank you for sharing this case. I think this is an excellent example of appropriate planning and creating the illusion of density with a small number of grafts. This is definitely an aesthetically significant result. Nicely done!

Christine,

Excellent use of 2,000 grafts! It's amazing how far a small procedure can go in the hands of a skilled physician!

Sparky,

It is a Norwood 5 because there is erosion of the bridge. In NW 4 and less there's a preservation of the bridge. If you look at the picture of the top view (photo 5), you can see that the bridge is crumbling. There is really a diffuse thinning pattern but he's resulting in a NW5. He has no bridge.

Hello,

I heard about Dr. Arocha's quality job. I have some questions and appreciate if you can help.

How difficult is the process of hair transplant, any pain? Does it have lots of paperwork? Is there any warranty for hair replacement or reimbursement if the transplanted hairs don't grow or partially grow?

Thanks

Carolyn

Carolyn,

I can not speak for any doc in particular but it is a general consensus that if you go with a top doc, many will garauntee 90 percent yield, and if you grow less than that, the will give you that many free on your next transplant. Check with each doc first. You are likely to get little info about that on the board and should talk directly to doc. In two years of research I have never seen a refund and know that they are very unusual. How hard is it? Very. That is why is so important to choose the right doc.
