Senior Member Fingers Crossed Posted May 26, 2010 Senior Member Share Posted May 26, 2010 That's perfectly normal haircare. My transplanted hair shed first on the right side of my hairline as well; the only difference is that mine shed around the 3 week mark. Senior Member Fingers Crossed Posted May 26, 2010 Senior Member Share Posted May 26, 2010 In regards to the shock loss, yes this is normal. Some people experience it, others don't. Unfortunately I was one of the unlucky ones. It's suppose to all grow back, but if it was weak to begin with, it more than likely won't return. Most of my shock loss was in the frontal forelock, everyone is different. Do you have any pictures of these "skin patches"? Maybe if we see them, the community will be able to better answer your question. My Hair Loss Website - Hair Transplant with Dr. Hasson
