Race and HT success:

Most patient pics shown on this and other sites tend to be white males (although they do have all types and colors of hair). I am of Indian origin (meaning from India the country and NOT native American!). I would like to hear from other patients or surgeons regarding the success they have had on nonwhite patients - especially Indian/or Middle Eastern/Iranian/Pakistani etc... since we have similar looks to an extent.

 

I have heard that some races have smaller follicular units and fewer clusters of more than two hair follicles? Also, redheads apparently have less hair even in the donor area than other races? Is this true? Finally, are hair transplants more successful on curly hair or on straight hair such as the type Chinese and Oriental men have?
