Would one of you please explain the difference between standard follicular unit grafting and dense packed ultra refined follicular unit grafting? On another thread, there was some discussion about these two methods; however, I am confused as to what the difference is between these two methods. Furthermore, when I consult with a hair transplant surgeon, what questions should I ask to determine whether he or she truly does dense packed ultra refined follicular unit grafting? Just asking the question: "Doc, do you do ultra refined follicular unit grafting ?" may not get me an honest answer. Furthermore, some docs may think that they do ultra refined sessions when they really don't and respond in the affirmative. I would really appreciate your help with this. What is ultra refined dense pack grafting and how can I be sure a transplant doc uses this method?

I think this website will answer your question. You are correct. Many doctors will not give an honest answer if you come right out and ask them. That is why sites like this are so valuable. We can discuss and analyze techniques used by various doctors.
