Regular Member future doc Posted May 24, 2006 Regular Member Share Posted May 24, 2006 I have heard from reports and physicians that propecia begins to lose effectiveness after 5 yrs. At which point, I will most likely go on avodart. My questions are: 1) Has anyone been taking propecia for more than 5 yrs here - if so, what are the results, does it really stop working as well? 2) Will switching to avodart make any difference if propecia starts not to work? Lastly, what's the deal with any new drugs coming out? Has anyone heard anything about FDA approval for something? Much thanx everybody
