MikeHall1234
I have been considering a HT for many years now. I am 37 and ready to go ahead with the procedure. I tend to research everything I do to the point where it sometimes gets to be a little too ridiculous. Consumer reports, web blogs, etc. I want to feel confident and happy with my decision because I feel that will make a differnce in the whole experience and I did not wait this long to go to a place that is not going to do the job right. I have had a small widows peak and a faily low hair line most of my life. I had a tremedous amount of hair when I was younger and starting thinning when I was 20. It has taken 17 years for it to really start to annoy me. It has always bothered me but now it is to the point where I want to do some thing about it. Can anyone recommend the best Docs in the LA and Orange county areas? I would be willing to travel to San Deigo as well. Would prefer to stay close to home but would be willing to travel out of state. Any advice that could be given would be appreciated. Thanks Mike

Senior Member Gorpy Posted March 25, 2006 Senior Member Share Posted March 25, 2006 It is a mistake to base your doc on geographical location. You only have one scalp. You need to go to a doc that you feel is the best for you, regardless of location. ____________ 2700 Total Grafts w/ Keene 9/28/05 663 one's = 663 1116 two's = 2232 721 three's = 2163 200 four's = 800 Hair Count = 5858 1000 Total Grafts w/Keene 2/08/07 Mostly combined FU's for 2600+ hairs My Photo Album See me at Dr. Keene's Gallery
Senior Member tkerr22 Posted March 25, 2006 Senior Member Share Posted March 25, 2006 very true Gorpy. There are two fine docs in AZ, Keene and Alexander and I think there is one in San Diego that a couple of people have talked about on here. Senior Member Gorpy Posted March 25, 2006 Senior Member Share Posted March 25, 2006 That's understandable Mike. I would suggest starting here. I would also advise consulting with more than one doctor. ____________ 2700 Total Grafts w/ Keene 9/28/05 663 one's = 663 1116 two's = 2232 721 three's = 2163 200 four's = 800 Hair Count = 5858 1000 Total Grafts w/Keene 2/08/07 Mostly combined FU's for 2600+ hairs My Photo Album See me at Dr. Keene's Gallery
