Regular Member baldeagle11 Posted November 5, 2007 Regular Member Share Posted November 5, 2007 Hi, I'm only 3 days post op, but when I place my hand close to the top of my recipient area, it feels warm...is this normal? I am on antibiotics and otherwise feel great. Thanks
Senior Member MrJobi Posted November 5, 2007 Senior Member Share Posted November 5, 2007 Eagle You will feel a host of odd sensations over the next couple months. Tingling, pain, pinching, and others are compeltely normal. Unless, there is blood or longing pain I would not be too concerned JOBI 1417 FUT - Dr. True 1476 FUT - Dr. True 2124 FUT - Dr. True 604 FUE - Dr. True My views are based on my personal experiences, research and objective observations. Bill - Seemiller
baldeagle, As Mrjb said - expect to experience a number of sensations as the donor area is healing. The warmth is most likely due to the increased blood supply to the area. You are only 3 days postop. It is going to take a good amount of time to heal. Senior Member hairbank Posted November 5, 2007 Senior Member Share Posted November 5, 2007 Agreed guys...........the recipient site is likely to feel "funny" for some time. Everyone heals differently. I think for me to even have much feeling at all took at least a few weeks, maybe a month. I wouldn't worry too much, just give some time to heal and go from there.
