Regular Member pinda Posted September 28, 2007 Regular Member Share Posted September 28, 2007 Hi, Does HT affect other hairs on the scalp to fall? Please advise Also is Propecia good to take, what side effects does it have? I heard once you stop taking your new hair will fall out and you will have a high hair fallout rate again. Thankyou for you reply's

Senior Member MrJobi Posted September 28, 2007 Senior Member Share Posted September 28, 2007 Hi Good questions.. First of all a HT can cuse something called Shockloss where some of the surrounding hairs might fall due to Trauma. Most will return once everthing grows back Propecia can help with that so many docs recommend taking it a couple months prior to a HT. Propecia ( I am on it) basically stabilizes hairloss in many and might regrow a tad. Yes, you have to continue to take it to reep the benefits.. Once you stop you most likely will lose what you gained JOBI 1417 FUT - Dr. True 1476 FUT - Dr. True 2124 FUT - Dr. True 604 FUE - Dr. True My views are based on my personal experiences, research and objective observations.
