Shedding (Need your Help please)

Hey Guys,

 

Well justa brief.I started Propecia a year and a half ago and it started working after 4 months and then stopped working 6 months later.I shed for 2 months and decided to try minoxidil and same thing happened and now I have been losing hair for 2 weeks after losing virtually no hair for 4 months.Now there is nothing I can do.I heard this stuff works for 5 year not 5 months.Guys do you ahve nay suggestions.Does this stop or do I have no hope.I am only 27.

Did you go off of Propecia then start Minoxidil, or are you using Propecia with Minoxidil now?

 

Shedding isn't experienced by everyone trying Propecia and/or Minoxidil but it is by some. The best thing to do is wait it out and don't stop use. The shedding is just your hair being pushed into a resting phase by your regimen......it should start slowly coming back.

 

Propecia and Minoxidil are different treatments and will affect your hair differently. Propecia is an internal DHT blocker, Minoxidil is a surface DHT blocker. If you go off of either, you'll lose any hair your helped keep or have regrown in a fairly short period of time.

 

From what I understand, shedding is a normal part of the process for some........just stick it out and you should come through it.

I have not stopped Propecia but I hope this shedding will stop.Things were perfect with virtually no hair loss.I hope this tops otherwise I have no hope.

 

Anyone else experienced this please let me know.Does it stop and then start and then stop again or is this it.
