Senior Member LT Posted February 21, 2007 Senior Member Share Posted February 21, 2007 I bought the hairmax lasercomb for $600 back in 3/2004. I used it for 3 1/2 years twice a week for like 15 minutes. I can tell you that it made my hair look thicker after I used it but it didn't stop my hair loss. I have less hair now then I did back in 2004. I stopped using the lasercomb and I have been on rogain foam and propecia.
Regular Member Tha Joe Posted February 22, 2007 Regular Member Share Posted February 22, 2007 These types of lasers do have a great benefit for the hair and scalp, however they do nothing to block DHT. I have been working with these lasers for many years and have seen great results when they are used in conjunction with propecia and minoxidil. I have had 2 HT's with Dr. Glenn Charles who is one of the first doctors to perform clinical trials with Low Level Lasers. I will be happy to answer any questions anyone has about the science and real world results. 1st HT 1-5-05 - 1894 FUT's Dr. Glenn Charles 2nd HT 12-18-06 - 1542 FUT's Dr. Glenn Charles Total: 3436 FUT's Current Protocol: Propecia Daily, Laser Therapy EOD 20 mins. Senior Member HK500 Posted February 24, 2007 Senior Member Share Posted February 24, 2007 I think you guys summed up what we have read over the years. It's nice to use and it will give you very subtle benefits and that's it. My Hair Loss Website - Hair Transplant with Dr. Siporin
