I see you've included procerin in the list,

I'd like to ask if you know if procerin (I'm assuming mainly saw palmetto) has helped anyone with receding hairlines before on these forums, or if the medicine is used for such loss, or is it mainly for the crown?

21YearsAndScared,

I should probably clarify the above. Procerin is on the list above because we've written a product review on it. We do not however, sell Procerin at our online hair loss treatment shop.

Currently, no non-surgical hair loss treatment is proven to regrow hair in completely bald areas. This includes hair that's already receeded.

The most effective non-surgical solutions on the market today are Propecia and Rogaine. Many alternative treatments do include minoxidil in their oral treatments and saw palmetto and/or other products in their oral treatment. Saw palmetto has not been proven to stop hair loss however, some feel that it can inhibit at least some DHT and thus, be effective for some hair loss sufferers.

I encourage you to do more reading on the Hair Loss Learning Center about DHT blockers versus hair growth stimulators and then read our product reviews and visit our online hair loss treatment shop for more information on a particular product.

Best wishes,

Bill
