Senior Member PLEASE GROW PLEASE Posted May 24, 2008 Senior Member Share Posted May 24, 2008 At first when I came acroos this post I was somehow under the impression that this was the Dr Reyes that Bverotti works at and was amazed at a the price because I have seen their results. Now the picture is SO much clearer as to why HT55 was so passionate to help you. All the red flags were waving. One bad result doesnt make or break a clinic but the way this doctor treated GAP after the poor growth says it all. Thats why its so important to see tons of photos of a doctors work before making any kind of a commitment. Im talking 30 -50 photos, not 3 or 4. You know HT55 got kicked off another forum because he was tried to help a kid the same age as you in the same way.You owe him a hug Take care . Senior Member hairthere Posted June 16, 2008 Senior Member Share Posted June 16, 2008 $4k for an fue megasession didn't sound right so this makes much more sense. why did you think you were getting fue? was it a language barrier problem? the work looks pretty good/refined. i do think 3k grafts for that large an area is a bit on the low side and you might want to add more density in the future. glad to see it all worked out for you and good growing.... Senior Member PLEASE GROW PLEASE Posted June 16, 2008 Senior Member Share Posted June 16, 2008 I think alot of newbies get fu and fue confused. Hey the works looks good but that doesnt tell a whole lot. It does show that minis were not used and even though its not a ton a grafts the sites are fairly close together . Bottomline its looks pretty damn good. How much did she charge? Did you get a buddy discount?
Senior Member PLEASE GROW PLEASE Posted June 16, 2008 Senior Member Share Posted June 16, 2008 I hope you were on propecia .You still had some hair on the top . You want to save that and possibly grow new hair and avoid potential shockloss.
Senior Member hairthere Posted June 16, 2008 Senior Member Share Posted June 16, 2008 pgp, yes you might be right about that confusion of terms. it does show that newbies MUST do a ton of research to really understand what they are getting themselves into. it would suck to think you're going in for fue and come out with a strip scar.... Regular Member Thinman123 Posted June 16, 2008 Author Regular Member Share Posted June 16, 2008 I think there was a language barrier problem there, however everything was resolved when i went there and sat down for the consultaion. She used dense packing method. I am going to wait and see how it comes out when it grows. If i like it, ill defintely go back for another procedure for density. She was SOOO serious about me taking propecia that she actually demanded i take a pill before the procedure in front of her eyes. She actually wanted to see me take it. lol. Anyway, i did get a little discount for briging another patient. Lets see, it came out to 4250$. That is everything included, 4 days and 3 nights at a wonderful resort with free food, drinks, clubs/party, beach, medications, and free transportation to the clinic and back which was over an hour away from where i stayed. Originally she wanted 4500$ so i got a little discount. The crew working on me were really nice. They made me feel right at home, but language was the only barrier. Oh, BTW, i just pruchsed 180 pills of Finasteride 1mg so i can get back on that for my crown area and use rogaine foam. I hope that can keep me secure until im a little older and have enough for another HT. Where do you guys purchase Finaseride from? I think i got a good deal on mine.
