Always choose a physician that has a good background history. If they have a lot of success then you are safe. Also ask if they have insurance as well.

I recommend that you may do a lot more search and go for the surgeons who are highly qualified hair transplant surgeons. Some of the best medical schools from where these surgeons pass out are:

1. All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS, New Delhi) India.

2. Christian Medical College etc.

Ritika,

I'm not sure who you're responding to, but this community prescreens and recommends only those surgeons who meet our rigorous standards for recommendation. At this time, we only recommend 2 outstanding hair transplant surgeons in India which includes Dr. Pathuri Madhu and Dr. Radha Rani Palakurthi.

This is not to imply there aren't other excellent hair transplant surgeons in India. Do you represent a hair transplant clinic? If so, who? If not, which surgeons in India do you recommend and what criteria are you using to determine they're produing world class results?

Best wishes,

Bill

Hi all,

I'm new to the site. I live in the Pacific Northwest and would like to know what hair restoration doctors you recommend in this area. Through my research Dr. Gable, Hasson and Wong and the Advanced Hair Restoration seem to be the ones mentioned the most. I have contacted the Advanced Hair Restoration and they say all the right things and I have emails sent to the other two. But I would like your help and experience. Thanks

Hi, I had a transplant three days ago. Today was the first day I washed my hair a d grafts. I just started to notice areas where the grafts may have fallen out. I don't know if its from the minor swelling I have or what. Has anyone had this happen to them before?

Thanks for the guide you have presented here. Choosing the right doctor for hair transplantation is important at the same time hard. The results depends on the skills of the surgeon as well a show well you prepare for it. My dad had a surgery from Seager Hair Transplant in Canada, he had a lot of confusions in finding the doctor. Finally asked around to friends and relatives and went online for reviews and chose it.

I am suffering from heavy hairfall. I tried several treatment methods. One fine day my neighbor recommended Seager Medical Group, Toronto, as they are best known hair transplant specialist. After doing hair transplant treatment from Seager, I could see the result. I thank the whole Seager Medical Group team for their effort. If you would like to know more, go to Seager Hair Transplant treatment

Recommending Physicians: A Collaborative Effort

Physician Selection is Critical

The most important decision a patient will make is their choice of physician. The skill, talent, and experience of hair transplant physicians and their staff varies widely, as do the life long results.

It's critical that patients choose a physician who has a proven track record of providing truly state of the art results.

This Community is Run by and for Patients

This online community was created by and for hair transplant patients. For the publisher's hair restoration story, click here. For the associate publisher's patient weblog, click here.

All the physicians who are recommended on the Hair Transplant Network have been carefully screened by patients and must meet our community's high standards. To view all the physicians who are recommended on this community, click here.

Our Collective Wisdom Determines the Recommendations

This recommendation process is collaborative and involves input from the thousands of patients who have visited our community over the past ten years. Their actual experiences have helped determine which physicians are recommended or not.

In addition to patient input, the publisher of this community, Patrick Hennessey, regularly visits leading clinics around the world to observe their surgeries, meet with their patients and evaluate the physician, staff and clinic. To view highlights from some of his clinic visits, view " Visits to Leading Hair Transplant Clinics".

Prior to any physician being recommended information about the physician, including multiple examples of their surgical process and patient results, are presented on this forum community. Forum members and leading hair restoration physicians are invited to post their comments and critiques.

Our goal is to enlist as much input as possible from multiple patients before making a determination about a physician. We strive to make this evaluation process as democratic and transparent as possible. We hope that you become an active member of this community and contribute your input to this collective process.

Those physicians who are chosen for recommendation based on their merits contribute a monthly sponsorship fee to pay for the cost of running this community.

Meeting an Ultra High Standard - the Coalition of Independent Hair Restoration Physicians

Those physicians whose clinics have developed the capacity to provide large sessions exceeding 2,500 follicular unit grafts and the skill to perform ultra refined high density sessions are eligible for membership in the Coalition of Independent Hair Restoration Physicians . All Recommended Physicians Must Meet Our Standards Continually

All recommended physicians are expected to continually meet our high standards on an ongoing basis. Patients are encouraged to share their experiences both good and bad. Those physicians who fail to provide consistent high quality results will have their recommendations discontinued.

We hope that you benefit from the collective wisdom of this patient based community and contribute to it.

I still can't see how to start the process of getting a doctor recommended on this site. Please advise.

One of my friends Father was very upset with their Baldness problem. Then I searched on website and get information about (promotional link removed by moderator). Dr Tunio Treats his hair implantation by FUE Technique and after 7 months his baldness problem finished naturally.

Omair,

I'm confused, your first post on this forum was asking for a quality physician and then you post this explaining how your father went to this Dr. Tunio. If you are already familiar with such a quality doctor, why was your first post claiming that you were not familiar with the quality physician and asking this community for advice about one. It's also ironic that the same doctor was just heavily promoting himself on this form by plastering photos and telling himself as an expert surgeon encouraging people to come to him. Now I wonder if I check the IP address of his old account versus yours if they are one and the same. I will check that out later and find out. If it is, then it's obvious that somebody is just covertly promoting him and this post is not sincere. I already suspect it's not since your first post claims ignorance in knowing any qualifications and then your second post promotes this doctor.

Very strange.

Bill

Oh, and you also hot linked to his website in your post, and Dave had to edit it because you violated our terms of service. It seems like you created your account pretending to be real but in reality, just came to promote this Dr. Tunio. I will check the IP address is later today to see if they match his previous account.

Im not really totally bald just thinning and Tino barbone, aka T-bone from Scalp Esthetica in Toronto told me that he would be able to add extra density to my hair. After the scalp micropigmentation treatment my head was red for the first day so i couldnt see the results until the reddness went away. when it was gone my head had massive blue dots all over it. Missing spots ever where. It looks like dark blue you can see the pictures for yourself. I played a lot of money and was really looking forward to it. The pics looks really nice on the Internet. Over all very insatisfieded . It looks like s***. I am very up set scalp esthetica and tino barbone ruined my life. Any advice on what to do. how much will it cost fix or do i need to do laser removal and will it hurt? any help is appreciated i am depressed and afraid to show my face in public until its fixed.
