LD
Just had HT - 2060 FU grafts. (july 25, 2002) It's been 5 days. Experience with Dr. Keene was 1st class, and grafts looks like they were well planned, (hairline, density, placement), and seem to be healing well. Sutures from donor site will be removed in 2 days. Donor area sore, scalp area numb and very sensitive, but probably normal considering invasiveness of procedure. Scabs beginning to form. Dr. Keene did not recommend graphcyte (or NOT recommend). Post op. - ice forehead & donor area, spray grafted area with saline several times per day. So far, it looks good, hurts a bit. Expecting superb results. I'll let you know. Guest
I had my second surgery with Dr. Keene on July 3, so I'm just 23 days ahead of you. You should expect the soreness to gradually subside over the next few weeks. As of today I'm at exactly 4 weeks and my head feels pretty good. The numb feeling takes longer to fade, but after a few months you probably won't even notice it.
Guest
The numb feeling for me went away after like a month. Good luck!
