Did you have any after your surgery with Dr. Shapiro? Never Forget - It's what radiates from within, not from your skin, that really matters! You raise an important consideration. Some times pitting or coble stoning can occur, especially with the more invasive procedures using larger grafts like minis. Technically a patient will have a scar at every incision. But when done right, this scar should not be noticable to the naked eye. I know in my case I have absolutely no issue with any scalp irregularities. After my first surgery, about 6 weeks later after all my tiny newly transplanted hairs had shed, my scalp looked exactly like it did before surgery. So I knew I had no deformations. My understanding (and I'm no hair surgeon here) is that pitting occurs when the grafts are placed to low and that cobble stoning can occur when the graft is to big or misfit in the recipient site and so it pushes the skin up or distorts the scalps surface.
