Regular Member SlowlyThinning@59 Posted September 20, 2007 Regular Member Share Posted September 20, 2007 Received my Revita shampoo yesterday and really like the way it leaves my hair. Since I shampoo in the morning and at night, is it ok to use it twice/day, 5 days a week or should I use my regular shampoo once a day instead of using Revita twice/day? Thanks for any info. Senior Member MrJobi Posted September 21, 2007 Senior Member Share Posted September 21, 2007 Hi I use it once a day or whenever I shampoo my hair.. Twice a day is a lot to wash your hair. Guest
What's so good about Revita? Does it work or is another Regenix type of thing? Thanks.
Bill - Seemiller
Revita contains the ingredient ketoconazole which is the same active ingredient in Nizoral which may consider part of the big "3" for hair loss treatments. Though there is some science to suggest ketoconazole is as effective as Rogaine 2%, I have yet to see any real proof of this yet there are many people who swear by it. Ketoconazole is also not FDA approved as a hair loss treatment. That being said, I have decided to use Revita shampoo and have been using it for 1.5 months now. I like the shampoo but I have nothing miraculous to report yet. I plan on trying it out for at least 6 months. Of course, the only real news would be if it works wonders for me. If not, than it doesn't prove or disprove anything Best wishes, Bill
