shock loss

It is normal for most of newly transplanted hairs to fall out within the first few weeks following the procedure. If you are talking about the shock loss of previously transplanted hairs, that is also possible. However, it is more common for original hairs to fall out due to shock than it is for transplanted hairs. In either case most of the shock loss will be temporary, except for the small percentage of follicles that were genetically programmed to fall out soon. Also, loss of hair due to shock can occur anytime from the day of the surgery to 1 month later.
