Senior Member Dr. Ricardo Mejia Posted November 19, 2007 Senior Member Share Posted November 19, 2007 Looks great. Dr. Farjo did an excellent job and you will be very pleased. As to what to tell people who might ask what happened to your scalp if you do not want anyone to know. I usually tell my patients to tell them you have seborrhea or psoriasis, a benign scalp condition that leads to flakiness and scaling. YOur dermatologist is treating it. Yes, its not the same and doesn't look exactly like that. However, I believe if you quickly give a plausible answer, they are more likely to accept it and forget about it and move in. Senior Member Fallenstar Posted November 21, 2007 Author Senior Member Share Posted November 21, 2007 thx Dr.M, i am back to work on next week after 3 weeks and i think i will be ok, as most of the new grafts will have shed by then. i will look like normal pre-HT appearance..., the scar is healing slowly and my existing hair is just about doing the job of concealing it ;-) Now the long and painful wait that i was dreading..but also a little excited to see new hair one by one :-) Thx for your comments and advice...talk soon! Bill - Seemiller
Fallenstar, Thank you for posting an update. Your donor scar is concealed nicely even with very short hair. Though your hair density has something to do with this, it is clear that Dr. Farjo did an excellent job on your donor scar. I can see most of your transplanted hairs have shed as well which is normal for 3 weeks post op. Keep us posted! Bill

Regular Member KamCal Posted February 5, 2008 Regular Member Share Posted February 5, 2008 fs, You are looking pretty good for only 3 months. As Bill and other have mentioned, avoid looking at the mirror if possible at all. This is a very gradual process and if you don't have patience, you get discouraged. I am still getting ingrown hair pimples which is def. a good sign . I just got one in my hairline yesterday. So sttuff surely are happening. Happy growing to you.
