Guest
I am only 24 and wondering if I should try transplants. I have a receding hairline and up until now the hair was very thick...just farther up on my head. Is this a good/feasible idea for someone as young as me? Senior Member arfy Posted March 4, 2002 Senior Member Share Posted March 4, 2002 before you go for surgery, you should be already using Propecia and Minoxidil. Try that for at least a year, even two years, before you start to think about surgery. Are you already on Propecia? Even if you decide to get a HT, you should keep using it. You want to hang on to all of your remaining hair. Surgery is a last resort for guys who are significantly bald, and who didn't get results from drug treatments.
