I really doubt, if hassan is a geniune patient, he is working hard to promote dr kamal. I called the number hassan mentioned earlier. Guess what dr kamal answered me and he was so excited to get my phone call, it seems to me he was already waiting for the call!

moreover, his website is really poor not much information on that!

Dear Bill & Dassar

firstly let me clarify the situation: unfourtunately I have no information about that we should not share contact numbers in this forum. But you can be sure that I have no bad intent for sharing that. You can follow the stage of my letters and sharings from the beginig... It is clear that I gave the contact information as Denny could not reach them and he said that I am not able to understand the language and find information for them. On the other hand I sent my photos tothe personal e-mail of Denny and share on the forum. Also Dassar asked me about these.. What is wrong with me. I spend too much moeny for my first operation and unfourtunately gained less less hair than ı paid. And so many friends from Dubai experi ced the same problems in Turkey. I do not think that showing a person who want to help a person not able to reach somebody as a genuie patient.

I am repeating again; I gave the contact information after it has been said we are not able to reach them...

Best wishes

I will take at look at your post, yes this first posted on a uk hair loss site, A&E is hospital accident and emergency.

I was very very surprised to get that high number, but from my pics i sent H&W thats what Joe and Dr Hassan quoted me.I did do a hell of a lot of scalp exercises, spent about 20 mind a day really pushing the scalp up and down.

Actually Dr Hasson did say that i had the perfect type of donor hair, so i am really happy.

I have a lot of pictures to show, is it ok if i link to my web blog from another hair loss site? i can only seem to add one picture at a time with this post, any ideas anyone?

I had only one transplant with Dcotor Randall Sword 10 years ago for 1800 grafts. Not only do I have wide scars with a linear scar from one ear to the other (way wider than anything I have seen online for twice as many grafts) but I also have very bad nerve damage that has not subsided in the last 10 years. I have been to dozens of neurologists and struggle with sleep, concentration, focus. I am constantly feeling nausea. I actually started experiencing discomfort months after my procedure and Doctor Sword recommended I come in for scar revision surgery. Unfortunately it became worse after the revision surgery and I was very young (early 20s and did do my research). Now I have lost more hair and due to the pain I will definitely not consider any future surgery options. I highly, highly, highly advise not to consider Randall Sword. If anyone else is suffering from nerve pain and has found some options for relief, please share. Thank You!

I had three surgical hair restoration procedures over the past five years with Dr. Scott F. Alexander utilizing the follicular unit extraction process and am very pleased with the results. Dr. Alexander and staff of Biltmore Surgical Hair Restoration in Phoenix, AZ are competent, candid, personable, patient, professional, skilled, thorough, and accommodating. I strongly recommend the experience and artistic talent of Dr. Alexander for one of the more important and visible decisions of your life.

I went to Dr. Quatela last July (of 2013) to receive what was about my 5th procedure. I went to Bosley previously and decided to go to Quatela in Rochester, NY based on a recommendation on this site. First of all, I regret the day I first decided to get a transplant. That was the worst decision of my life. I wish I had simply shaved my head, but now I can't do that due to the awful appearing scars. Anyway, I was told within 6 months I'd start to see hair growth. It's now almost been 8 months and I haven't seen a single new hair grow. I am very concerned for I took out a loan to pay for this procedure. It was money I wouldn't have minded spending if the promises by the surgeon had been kept. I am at a loss at this point on how to proceed. I cannot bring myself to receive any more surgeries filled with claims that simply can't come to fruition. I now see too many horror stories on the net about the same experiences which makes me wonder if anyone has ever had a positive experience and the ones who claim they do may not be true. I am very displeased with the lack of results and the expense of Dr. Quatela.

Few people have anything useful to say about Boseley. As for the other doc I have no idea. I am sorry that you have had five failed transplants, there are too many variables involved to guarantee a successful outcome and we all hope that when we have a HT we have done all we can to control those variables. Choosing a good surgeon is the single most important variable; with sensible expectations, sound after-care and patience it usually works out....at least I hope so else I'll have wasted a lot of amount of money!!

I am 30 years journalist in Delhi, India. I have been suffering from baldness, from past 5 years. I was very hopeless and I could not face people because of my bald look. I had a grade 6 Norwood class of baldness and I looked 35 at the age of 25 and my friends used to pass comments on me. My profession involved meeting a lot of people and my look always affected my confidence.

I started searching for a solution of hair transplantation for my baldness, then I found on internet about Dr. Pradeep Sethi and Dr Arika and their clinic Eugenix Hair Sciences, in Gurgaon and Dehradun. I got fixed an appointment with the doctor and went through the previous patient’s results. Dr Pradeep Sethi was very helpful as he explained me everything about their technique. Then, I decided to go for the FUE procedure on August 15th and 16th, 2013. I underwent some blood investigations.

On the day of surgery, I came a bit early in the morning, then we were about to start the procedure of hair transplant though I was scared as well as excited. Finally we started the procedure. Only 2049 grafts were implanted on day 1 and rest 2254 grafts on 2nd day. A total of 4303 grafts were implanted in 2 days. After, the surgery I went back home and everything was fine. I was excited to see a lot of new hair on my completely bald frontal scalp, they remained for 1 month and thereafter, they started shedding. I was a little worried because, I thought I have lost them. I met Dr Pradeep after 3 months and he told me not to worry and I need to wait for another 3 months to discern the results.

Slowly after 4 months my transplanted hairs started growing, I was excited because of the coming growth and also my confidence started returning. After 6 months all transplanted hairs grew. Now I am again confident, I can cut my hairs and I can change hair styles. I am very happy now

I am so sorry man. Yes, HT is a huge risk and sites like this should help us all realize that. I also went to Bosley for a consultation (they said they were offering free Toppik with each visit, which they didn't) and I was shocked at their ruthless selling tricks and exorbitant costs. It felt like being a guest in a shopping channel talk show. I went to Turkey instead. If you are having very poor growth you should at least consult as many of the best clinicians in the field as you can and hear what they have to say. Also keep in mind that European surgeons tend to be more ethical than the Americans.

My hair was thinning all around the scalp area. So I consulted doctor at (link removed by moderator). He said I will be needing 2000 grafts in a five hour surgery. He suggested me a date two weeks after consultation. I was a bit worried but it was something I had to do. Surgery went fine, with no painful issues. The only thing was I was bored during the five hours surgery was happening. Anyway it ended very well. At first the transplanted hair growth was slower. By about two months I felt they started growing better. Now it is about 8 months after the surgery and I have a different look than I had 8 months back. I am still a bit worried about if any issues happen but happy with current situation.

Been losing since college time and recently I decided to do hair transplant with Dr Ekrem civas from ankara Turkey.

I had about 3700 grafts and I was charged about 3 thousand euros. He is an excellent surgeon he carried out the procedure without any problem.

It has only been two months and I don't look bold at all. The hairs are regrowing with nice hair line I am really happy with this treatment. I am waiting for few more months to see the full results.

I had no complications whatsoever. Everything was straight forward and well

Explained by the doctor. Everything was explained to me on paper for post care and it was very essy to follow.

I have used Dr. Cooley in Charlotte, NC twice in 3 years. The first time was for approximately 2,500 grafts. Despite my nervousness, the procedure went perfectly and the before and afters were radical and still are 3 years later. I still had more work to do to completely fill in what I wanted. So, Jan 9th, 2015 I had my second procedure done of 2,700 grafts. As with the first there was minimal discomfort and the recovery has been exactly as described. His staff is on their game and my follow up for stitch removal along with Dr. Cooley's follow up exam again convinced me that he is the Doctor to use. Everything went just as planned and I cannot wait for these grafts to fully come in. I can feel all the new "little buddies" when I run my hand over my head. Advice: do what the Dr says for post-op. My girl got up with me every hour on the hour to spray his magic potion on my scalp and twice per day to put on ointment over the scar. The scar is virtually indetectable blending into my hair. My recovery according to Dr. Cooley is going perfect. If you are anywhere in the Southeast and are looking for a hair restoration specialist, Dr. Cooley comes very highly recommended from me. I won't see anyone else.

On the subject of good and bad doctors.Just letting you,Pat,as well as anyone else interested that Dr.Ken Siporin in west la on Olympic did a bad job on me..I went to him in summer of 2008 and had somewhere around 2400-2600 grafts done. His nurse was mean and rude,at least one stitch was left in when they were removed. And worst of all he said he was going to help reduce the size of my prior surgerys scar, which I didn't ask him to do,and when it healed the scar left was much bigger and now was noticeable where it wasn't before!!!

Even though it's been just over 7 years I've posted elsewhere on the forum trying to find out from anyone if the statute of limitations has run out or do I quickly still have time to get a moderator to try and help me get some kind of retribution for the lousy work.I know at the beginning of the process the doctor has you sign something saying in the event of problems you won't sue but rather get a legal mediator.

If anyone knows the answer to the time issue please let me know, and remember my story before going with Dr.Ken Siporin in W.LA.

Thanks,

E

Hello all. I'm brand new to this group and I just recently had a 3000 graft FUT surgery with Dr. Jon W. Gaffney of the Samson Hair Restoration group in Sherman Oaks (Los Angeles) on May 11th (4 weeks ago). So far I think things have been good but I've been hard pressed to find any reviews on him. Has anyone here heard or him or worked with him before?
