So, I know this is extremely debated in the forum, but I'm a noob and wanted to get some insight. I have a bit amount of cash to spend on a HT and was wondering between these three doctors.
I know that if I go with Bisanga or Lorenzo I might get lower grafts because of what I can actually afford, but will the result of lower grafts look better than with Dr Erdogan? If it looks the same, plus is more affordable, plus I can get more grafts... should Dr. Erdogan be the logical choice?
Any advice will be extremely helpful. Also, for context.. I'm a NW VI ! Not looking for a bon jovi look, just maybe a younger bruce willis type look
This patient in his 30's traveled to see Dr Wong and his team from Argentina with the goal of restoring his frontal area and mid scalp. Dr Wong was able to extract 5169 grafts and establish an appropriate hairline to frame the patients face and give coverage not just through the mid scalp but over the entire balding area.
With careful planning and placement Dr Wong was able to exceed the patients goals by providing full coverage.
The patient sent us these photos which represent his progress at just over 6 months. He provided us with two different shots from the front. The first showing his hairline with the hair brushed up and the second brushed forward to demonstrate that he now has some options when it comes to wearing his hair.
We hope the patient will be supplying us with some more angles which we will post when we have them. He was taking Finasteride prior to the surgery. His graft breakdown is below.
1862 - single hair grafts
3230 - double hair grafts
257 - 3/4 hair grafts
Length of strip 30cm x 1.6 - 1.7 cm wide
Hey guys, I'm looking for help on this. I've consulted hair transplant clinics and the majority are bottom dollar quacks. I'm 18. I've been balding since 14. My grandfather stabilized at late stage Norwood 6, which is where I am. Wigs are tedious and hats are itchy. I used rogaine for almost a year and had no results. When should I consider HT? And who is the best I can go to? And what is the best that can be done for a Norwood 6.
