A 29-year-old patient came to our office wanting to lower his hairline and maintain a very short hairstyle. He can be seen before and after a 1352 graft FUE session with Dr. Carlos Wesley in NYC. A 0.8mm FUE punch was used with platelet rich plasma (PRP) and ACell serving as the graft storage solution during the procedure.
This 44-year-old gentleman desired more fullness in the frontal half of his scalp to "frame his face" more effectively. His primary emphasis was that his appearance be natural. With an average donor density and a relatively tight scalp, approximately 1700 grafts were generated using follicular unit transplantation (FUT). Despite this relatively modest number of grafts, the patient is demonstrating early growth at 8 months that are achieving his goals.
This 40-year-old man really wanted to reverse his "hair fortune" and add density atop his head. His concern was a natural appearance - even if it meant going "zero to sixty" (as a patient coined when very little recipient hair initially exists). A 2605-graft session with Dr. Carlos K. Wesley in NYC helped frame his face with a natural-appearing hairline as seen before and 17 months after his procedure.
A 42-year-old male wanted to advance his receding hairline. The most important thing to him was a natural appearance after the procedure. In the accompanying video, he can be seen before and 17 months after his follicular unit transplantation (FUT) procedure with Dr. Wesley (NYC)
Carlos K. Wesley, M.D. will be holding in-person consultations in Los Angeles, CA on Tuesday, April 22nd. He will be seeing patients only on this day. Patients interested in meeting with him in person may contact Loretta, the appointment secretary, at (844) 745-6362 or email email@example.com to arrange for a consultation with Dr. Wesley.
Please note, the physician, not a "consultant" or a salesperson, will be meeting with you and answering your specific questions directly. As someone who takes pride in his work, Dr. Wesley looks forward to speaking with you and sharing information that was included in his recently-authored chapters on Hair Restoration published in the leading dermatology and plastic surgery textbooks, as well as the most respected physician reference site. In addition to discussing the nature of the procedure, he will determine whether or not you are a candidate and the surgical fee for the size of the session for which you are eligible.

A 46-year-old male was bothered by the progressive thinning throughout his hairline and the more and more apparent receding of his hairline. He came to the office of Dr. Carlos K. Wesley (NYC) for a 2056-graft procedure that filled in the frontal half of his scalp. The patient then returned 13 months later for follow-up images as seen below...
This patient underwent two FUE procedures totaling over 3000 grafts. An athlete who liked to wear his hair short, this patient presented to Dr. Wesley's office (NYC) approximately 18 months after his first session for follow-up images.
This is a 37 year old man with Class VI Male Patterned Baldness who received a hair transplant by Dr. Parsa Mohebi. This patient had a hair transplant before with a different doctor, and received an asymmetrical and plug like appearance along his hair line. In order to give the patient a natural looking hairline, I transplanted 2,642 follicular units into the hairline, top, temples and frontal areas. As observed in the before and after photos, the patient’s hairline looks more natural after 12 months of regrowth.
FUT Hair Transplant was done with 2642 follicular unit grafts - 12 month follow up

Perhaps because the summer season is around the corner, a number of patients have come in to our office inquiring about the appearance of a hair transplant after taking a swim, shower, bath, etc.
We present a patient of Dr. Carlos K. Wesley at two separate phases post transplantation. The first 3 images were taken at 2 months after his session to the frontal half of his scalp (you can hardly notice any growth). The last 3 images were taken approximately two years afterwards (when full growth can truly be appreciated). This patient wanted to showcase his "fresh out of the swimming pool" look for others to see.
This patient is a 49 year old male who presents with loss of the frontal hairline as well as density in the frontal forelock and crown area. His donor area has a relatively thinner density than the average 100FU/cm2, his being approx 70FU/cm2. This yielded a total of 2063 FU grafts as follows: 502 one's; 1525 two's; 36 three's. We chose to concentrate on the frontal area on the first procedure, with a plan to address the crown in a subsequent session. Here, at eight months, he can expect about 15-20% further growth into the one year mark. I like this case as it illustrates how the variability in the colour and texture of the patient's natural hair characteristics can aid in the appearance of cosmetic density, especially at low transplant numbers.
