  1. A wide forehead with a sparse receding hairline is a problem with many women. Repeated blow dries, styling, hair cuts, attachments, wigs, etc. are options that one often resorts to. When we think of hair transplants, a picture of a middle-aged male balding pops up in our heads. Well, here Dr. Apratim Goel, a celebrity Dermatologist from Mumbai, shares her journey of hair transplant with Dr. Pradeep Sethi from Eugenix Hair Sciences. The decision making, the procedure, the after effects and results after 6 months. Also, these are permanent results and hence it's worth the efforts. Check it out and in case you suffering from a similar problem do go through our website www.eugenix.in
  2. Mr. A S is a confident millennial, whose confidence and peace does not depend on mere aesthetics or any other physical aspect. He was one of the many cases where the procedure was opted for due to the opportunity being present and his hairline unfortunately receding. It was a very conscious decision made by him under no pressure of any social taboo or requirement for self satisfaction. Belonging to the aviation industry, it was not even a professional requirement. He had the opportunity to use the best of his judgements before opting for the procedure. He was 100% aware of what he was getting into. He decided to go for 3515 grafts with us. Gradually, the look change began to reveal itself. With more time, his already sharp features began to appear more and more appealing. For someone who had never taken transplant as a serious procedure that "har to be done", Mr. A S sure was extremely ecstatic when he saw how wonderfully the procedure had worked for him. As exhibited in the pictures, this cosmetic procedure can enhance your facial features for the good.

  4. Mr Pranjal Gupta is a 25-year-old man who was suffering from Grade VI baldness on the Norwood Hamilton Scale. He was experiencing a low confidence level and a lot of hesitance to face his colleagues, friends and so on. The desperation due to the lack of hair spread across to his family members also who felt equally frustrated due to his constantly upset mood and lack of progress. He got his transplant done with us after his preliminary research. This young man received a total of 5350 grafts for the coverage of his scalp: Scalp: 3300 Beard: 1950 The results that he received after 12 months of his procedure were stunning, to say the least. However, it also had a profound impact on his personality – making him more outgoing, confident and most importantly happy. It is amazing how the whole family has taken a sigh of relief with such a simple cosmetic procedure. He still continues to enjoy his new hair and soon plans to join an MBA course in Jamshedpur University.
  5. He is a 65 years old dentist who is the doctor to most of the established celebrities of India and the noted politicians as well as the business tycoons. Regarded as the most respected dentist who has magical hands, was referred to us by his businessman friend. His forehead was wide with nearly washed out temple points and receded hairline. The crown was also totally bald. However, he had a good donor area in the scalp. We planned to reconstruct the hairline along with the temple and do the crown. A total of 4642 grafts were planted. We deliberately did a lower density of 30-35 grafts per square centimetre. He started growing the planted hair by 2 months and that became photographable by 3.5 months and a spectacular coverage came by 9 months. The midscalp was not touched during the first session. Now we are planning to do around 1500 grafts for that area.
  6. A 41-year-old gentleman with grade 6 baldness approached us last year for his hair and look restoration. His donor was good with a good density as well as individual hair thickness. His temple points were washed out, that was giving him a look of a wide forehead. We planned his procedure with the aim of doing his job in two phases. In the first phase, we did his front, midscalp and temple. And planned for the second phase later for the crown. Accordingly, the donor area was handled and grafts preserved for the future as well. We did 5500 grafts for him for the first phase. The hair started off by 2 months and he has got great hair and got an amazing look change by 8-9 months. He is not upon any medications. As planned he would come for the second phase procedure in a few months. His donor is well preserved.
  7. A 48 years old established Bollywood star started losing his hair with time. Unlike most, it was detrimental to his work. For quite some time he tried to manage with a hairpiece but the maintenance and unnatural look was way overboard. He badly needed a good hair fix and hair transplant was the only resort to his problems. The doctors and he after a detailed discussion on the hair transplant procedure decided what is the best for him. He even allowed us to trim it through and through so that all those places where he was lacking can be taken care of and most importantly fix the hairline! Hence close to 2500 grafts were planted. After 6 months this is what he looks like. He is not only happy that he got to fix all the required areas and there is no way anyone could make out a hair transplant procedure is done. Now he is back into full swing and he is not worrying about hair anymore. This is the 6-month results post HT though next 4-5 months it will just better.
  8. Hey guys! I wanted to share my story with you all. I am 46 years old cinematographer working in the Indian film industry. I was 42 when I started losing hair from the crown area. the hair loss was aggressive and I lost a lot of hair in a short time. I went to many dermatologists in Mumbai and they prescribed me different sorts of medicines. But those medicines, topical and pills, didn't do much for my hair loss problem. I decided to look for a more permanent solution and decided to get a hair transplant done at the age of 45 when almost all of my hair was lost from the front and top. I have shared images also from before and after. Before Hair transplant treatment I came across Eugenix hair science clinic through newspaper and after consultation, decided to go ahead with the treatment. At Eugenix, after analysing my case completely with suitable medical tests I was suggested to go for the hair transplant surgery with DHT technique in order to get natural looking results. At first, I was very nervous at the thought of undergoing surgery to replace my lost hair. After a relaxing and friendly consultation with the expert Dr Pradeep Sethi, all of my questions were answered, and I booked an appointment for my surgery that month. During my treatment, I listened to music and relaxed while the procedure was completed in a few hours with no pain at all. My deepest thanks to Dr Pradeep Sethi and his team at Eugenix Clinic, Mumbai. Hair transplant treatment I was so excited with the outcome of the 1st sitting that I have decided to go for 2nd sitting as well and the same has been completed a few months back. The procedure was done under local anaesthesia and 4200 grafts using scalp and beard were transplanted in two consecutive days in the first sitting and 3000 grafts were extracted from the scalp in the second sitting. Both procedures were completed with DHT technique. After Hair transplant treatment Visible progress started after the fourth month. I never experienced any pain during and after surgery. Post surgery care is very important. I was told that Complete hair growth is expected in 12 months. The surgery doesn't restrict you from doing daily business. You can continue working but its good to stay away from pollution, dirt etc. After 12 months, I am able to comb, oil, have haircut, colour and anything else that I could do with my hairs before losing them a couple of years back. Off lately, I started paying less attention to the hairs because of work pressure. But it is actually helping. Since 8 months onwards are the actual months where growth happens, it is in my favour not to pay more attention to the hairs thus reducing expectations. I let them grow naturally.
  9. A 43-year-old caucasian had come with grade 6-7 Androgenetic alopecia, with a contrast of hair and skin colour. The scalp donor was average. There was no other history of illness in the person baring the h/o baldness in paternal males. The baldness in the index case was static for last 5 years. We went ahead to do the front and the mid scalp, and planned to keep the hairline not too low, as ultimately the patient would also need to cover the crown area. We kept the hairline at 9.5 cm from the mid-eyebrow centre (glabella). The lateral sides of the hairline were not flared. Close to 5000 grafts were planted. We used beard grafts mostly from the area below the chin, the shadow area. The hair line received carefully chosen single follicles. The post-transplant pics arrived after 5 months and the results were amazing. Through the thickness of the grown hair as well as the density would increase in the next few months, still, the overall look was highly appreciable. Most importantly, the hairline was looking extremely natural and the patient was excited about his looks! We will keep you posted on his further progress.
  10. Here is my first time posting here and I am sharing my experience with an intention that this might help with someone who is currently in the same situation as I was in 6 months ago. Short review: Dr.Arika and Dr.Pradeep are truly talented, caring and phenomenally competent people and I couldn't have asked for any better. You can't go wrong with them. Longer version : A little history about myself: I am 27-year-old male, born and raised in India but living in United stated since the past 7 years. I noticed some thinning in the frontal area with my hairline receding but I haven't gone bald as such. I was in a limbo for quite some time whether to go for a transplant or not because some would advice for and some otherwise. After a few consultations from different practices parts from the world, I narrowed down to three surgeons, Dr.Padeep, another One in NY (Whos name I don't want to share for privacy reasons) and one in LA. Next week I requested a skype call with Dr.Padeep and he was more than willing and patient to answer literally every single question I ever had and by the end of the call, It was a very easy decision as I knew He is the doctor I wanna work with. So I made the decision to go to India to get this done. Even though I didn't care about cost at that time I should mention, It costed me less than 20% of what It would have costed me to get the same thing done anywhere else in the united states (That includes the flight tickets and everything) For international patients : If you are traveling from abroad I'd advice you to choose Delhi as your place of surgery even though they have many clinics in multiple places over India. They provide you accommodation (It's pretty good actually I was pleasantly surprised) and food (even though I ate out every day haha ) and bottled water and the ambiance is extremely clean , I know people from outside can fall sick very easily due to change in environment but I did just fine because it was very well maintained and they also offer you a pick up and drop off to the airport. Even though if you have never visited India, this whole experience will be smooth as butter. Nelson was always accessible, Made sure everything was just in place starting from morning coffee to the time I went to bed. My experience with the procedure : Dr.Padeep said I'd need about 1400 grafts and He made hairline design and the slits. We had a chat before to get all my questions answered once again but I barely had any because I was confident I was in good hands. One thing you'd notice in Eugenix is they are not commercial. they are not after your money, they are not trying to take every penny from you in every way possible. They treat you like family. Anyway, Dr.Pradeep made me very comfortable throughout the procedure It was never like a surgery, It was just like two friends chatting and having a good time lol! Next Dr.Arika did my extractions and I can't speak enough of her. She is the best. I believe they are like 5 people from India who are members of IAHRS and she is one of them. Her work is world class and I remember a day after the surgery I was upstairs (accommodation they give you is right at the hospital ) and accidentally hit my head to something and I texted her that I was worried if my grafts are damaged as they were just one day old. She immediately came and saw me and made sure everything is okay. I am just saying this to show how much they care and the concern they have for their patients. I remember Dr.Alok also gave me his number and insisted calling me even in the middle of the night if I had a question (which I happened to actually a couple of days later and he answered it on phone ) . you cannot get this level of care and attention anywhere else. I am so happy to have met these guys. Post care: I am just 2 weeks old with the surgery and they created a whats app group with all the docs, and I keep asking any questions and comments and they respond back right away. The only glitch that ever happened in this whole process was - long story short there was a small miscommunication between me and one of the office staff person regarding the number of days of my stay. But when I had to get on a call to clear of the confusion and tried clarifying things, it was not even a debate, they were more than welcoming to whatever my resolution was and made sure I was happy. My final verdict : I couldn't be any happier with them. and especially if you are aboard I seriously encourage you to consider them before making a decision. I can't speak for every doctor in Eugenix but I know for a fact you can't go wrong with Dr. Arika.

His donor area was average to good with a density of 80-85 units per square centimetre. The thickness of the hair was also average. There were salt and pepper colour of the donor's hair. 18. Since we have been recommended on this forum, we are noticing that a lot of patients are either asking about our pricing structure, our cost and some even feel we are slightly expensive than other clinics in India. We also got to know from our ex-patients that they are receiving messages in their inboxes where prospective hair transplant patients are showing some concern about our cost. We thought to clarify the doubts once and for all by posting this post. We believe in providing quality services and great results to all our patients and we don’t believe lowering the price will be the option we will consider. Having said that we do provide a customised quotation for 3000+ grafts and for patients who are on a tight budget we have Eugenix trained doctors who practice under Dr Pradeep Sethi and Dr Arika Bansal’s supervision. At Eugenix, we take heed to provide our clients with assistance, which goes beyond hair transplant surgeries. Our services also include providing individuals with comfort and a home-like environment at our lodging facility along with smooth commute options for patients visiting us from overseas/ outstations. Equipped with 4-star services, comfortable living facilities ensure your complete comfort under the direct supervision of the operating surgeon. We provide commute options to pick patients up directly from the airport. From the moment you land to the time you take off, your care is in our hands, with our end to end service. Lodging facility is available on the second floor, on the same premises where the doctors are staying and the clinic is situated. 22. A 70 years old lady with high forehead approached for hair line redefinition. We did a thorough evaluation and ruled out any dermatological condition like FFA (frontal fibrosing alopecia) or AA (alopecia areata). We did close to 2360 grafts on the front and temporal area in female pattern hairline. The hair started off in 2 months and by 6-7 months she developed amazing hair! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BwUymZdm3Fg
  23. Hi Guys, So here I am after many years of research I have made my mind up to get my HT done from Dr Pradeep Sethi and Dr Arika Bansal at their Delhi Centre on 24th April. Apologies in advance I can’t keep this post short because I have been one of the silent readers on this forum for many years and now, I think it is time to share my experience with others. I know there are many people out there like me who are reluctant to travel to India from UK. I hope they get some inspiration and confidence from my post. It took me many years to make up my own mind to get my HT done in India there several factors like long travel time, cost and skills of doctors etc but now I feel there is one Centre out there in India which produces world class results within. I am saying this because I have spoken to lot of their patients in last one and half years and few of them have even posted their results here on this forum. I also know lot of celebrities got their HT done from Dr Pradeep some came out in open and shares their experience and some doesn’t want to for obvious reasons. I have known Dr Sethi and Dr Bansal for more than one and half year now. Spoken to them several times about my concerns and questions and they have my answered my question without getting frustrated. When I first started following them on their YouTube channel they were not even recommended here on this community at that time. I used to think if these guys are so good how come Bill and his team have missed it. I am glad Bill has found them and recommended here because this has given me some confidence that I was on right track and given us more options within India. Even after Eugenix got recommended I waited for their patients to post their results here before I finalized them because personally, I trust the results shared by patients more than posted by clinics. I have compared Eugenix results with other clinics within India and I don’t see any doctor producing FUE results which is equivalent to the results they are producing. Some can disagree with me, but this is my judgement. I have also seen results from doctor who are recommended here and produced some bad results, but I guess every doctor has produced bad results occasionally and it could be due to various reasons. Important notes to fellow HT candidates: Do your research contact the clinic speak to their patients and once you are confident then make up your mind because that is what I did. I have not found any negative results from Eugenix yet. Don’t be put off by negativity surrounded on forums. This is public forum where anybody can post anything about clinics. This happens lot in India because of competition. I did see one negative post from one forum member recently which has put doubts in my mind. I have just called Eugenix and clarified what has happened I am satisfied with their response. We should always hear stories from both sides. Guy who has posted these comments didn’t had surgery with Eugenix but decided to share someone else experience because he himself has chosen different surgeon. I don’t believe in justifying my reason why I have chosen Dr Pradeep Sethi I will post my results here and will do my results do the talking. I can also go on about other doctors and clinics and criticize them why I didn’t shortlist them for my own surgery but I don’t think it is ethical. If my results are not good, I am happy to take criticism and accept blame. I am not sure what was the motive behind him writing negative comments about other clinics. Anyways this post is not about him or others this post is about my own surgery. Little bit about myself Ethnicity: Indian Age: 35 Norwood Scale: 3 HT planned for frontal area Grafts recommended by Drs: 2500-3000 Surgery Date: 24th April 2019 I will try to post my update every month along with my pictures and will continue to share my experience about Eugenix and surgeons to keep this community up to date. Even though I feel I have made the right choice I am bit nervous that how my results will turn out because for doctors I am just another patient but for me it will be life changing experience. I will continue to post my update to help fellow candidates and I look forward to seeing your comments and feedback. Happy to answers questions about my experience after my surgery.Long way to go. Thank,
  24. Mr. Singh, a Senior professional from the hospitality industry was referred to us by his friend who is the Ex-Davis Cup Captain of India, indeed he was also one of our patients who became a dear friend after his great results and keeps sending his friends to us. The index patient was 43 years old and had a big forehead along with loss of temples which were giving him a very bald look. He had left with a little bit of hair on the mid-scalp, otherwise he had lost complete hair on the front and crown. We planned his frontal area and temple and tried to cover as much as possible over two days. We did 7100 grafts (5000: scalp; 2100: beard). His planted hair started showing up after 3 months as usual for all of our patients (because of our Direct Hair Transplantation concept, wherein we extract and simultaneously plant the grafts which leads to less post transplant telogen effluvium and we get a fair amount of direct growth of the planted hair.) By one year the temple points were looking extremely natural and the hairline was impeccable in naturalness. He started sending his friends from all across. And we earned a friend in him forever. Attn: Hairline position and naturalness, temple points Total Grafts: 7100 Scalp: 5000 Beard: 2100
  25. Mr. AG was a 28 year old man. He was a Grade IV on the Norwood Hamilton Scale. His scalp donor was used for the procedure and 3000 grafts were planted. The results exhibited are after 5 months of his procedure. The density and the growth achieved in the results below are 50% of the complete density expected. The patient can still expect an increase in density over the following 6 months. In his case, the growth initiated from the 3rd month onward after the procedure.
