  1. Mr. A S is a confident millennial, whose confidence and peace does not depend on mere aesthetics or any other physical aspect. He was one of the many cases where the procedure was opted for due to the opportunity being present and his hairline unfortunately receding. It was a very conscious decision made by him under no pressure of any social taboo or requirement for self satisfaction. Belonging to the aviation industry, it was not even a professional requirement. He had the opportunity to use the best of his judgements before opting for the procedure. He was 100% aware of what he was getting into. He decided to go for 3515 grafts with us. Gradually, the look change began to reveal itself. With more time, his already sharp features began to appear more and more appealing. For someone who had never taken transplant as a serious procedure that "har to be done", Mr. A S sure was extremely ecstatic when he saw how wonderfully the procedure had worked for him. As exhibited in the pictures, this cosmetic procedure can enhance your facial features for the good.
  2. The index patient had Grade VI plus baldness and decent scalp donor and had a great beard. And the patient had no intention to flaunt a beard ever. He had a washed out temple area and because of which his forehead was looking wide and augmenting his bald look and he was worried about a natural hairline and natural temple. We tried to recreate the hairline and the temple. He had a lighter shade of skin close to Caucasians and the hair-skin colour balance was important in his procedure. His donor scalp was not great, it was average. So we did about 300 grafts on each side of his temple and close to 3000 odd grafts on his frontal zone up to the mid-scalp (we were more concerned about the fronto-temporal angle which was deep) and we did not plant more grafts on the central region and the crown and we deliberately planned more grafts for the next session. The patient started experiencing hair growth and look change towards the end of 3 months and by 6 months he had enough hair for a haircut and a look change! We are posting this result after 6 months and expecting more hair to come within 6 months from now. Note: Temple and hairline
  3. Mr. Sarkar was a 26 year old patient who was balding on the frontal zone. It had greatly altered his looks and his hairline had completely receded. He decided to go for the procedure with us for 2980 grafts with complete restoration in the frontal zone. After 8 months, we were able to view a drastic difference in his appearance giving him a much younger appeal. The results exhibited below are of his 8th month after the procedure. The complete density takes 12 months to appear.
  4. Mr. AG was a 28 year old man. He was a Grade IV on the Norwood Hamilton Scale. His scalp donor was used for the procedure and 3000 grafts were planted. The results exhibited are after 5 months of his procedure. The density and the growth achieved in the results below are 50% of the complete density expected. The patient can still expect an increase in density over the following 6 months. In his case, the growth initiated from the 3rd month onward after the procedure.
  5. One 42 years old celebrity socialite of Mumbai came to us for the restoration of the receding hairline with a bigger forehead. She was always aware that she has a big forehead, but never knew what can be done to that. She knew that a proper hairline would give her a better facial aesthetics. When she consulted us through her friend, who had also got a procedure done for himself, we offered her a plan wherein the hairline was supposed to be not very low, nor very up as well. She underwent the procedure. The hairline of females is altogether different than males. The shape is a semilunar type. The angle of the hair differs just after 2 cm from the midline and customising the hairline for the facial features is a bit challenging than males. However, in the index case, the results at 4 months and 6 months are highly encouraging and she is getting her female friends and her celebrity husband for the procedure! (Note: Even after 100 plus female hair restoration cases, we still believe we are improving with each case on a regular basis. Between 2010 to 2015 we have had 40 odd patients of female hair cases. Now since the last 2-3 years, we are doing almost 4-8 female cases per month. With awareness, increased cases of PCOD and lifestyle changes, the cases of female hair transplants are increasing.)
  6. I took these pictures today and I can see its worsening day by day, and hair has thinned from BACK too , I am confused now whether to opt for FUE or FUT, initially I was considering FUT with Dr Sunit Soni from Medispa but have seen few bad reviews of his hairtransplant recently, thus im confused now. Help me guys with choosing the best method and a good surgeon as I am not worried about money but want my hair back, I live in United Arab Emirates (Dubai) so please suggest and help me. Just using olive oil as of now and not on any medication.
  7. Mr. Satish Menon, CEO of cricket club, Kings XI Punjab, India, is a 61 year old man who had his surgery with us on 29.9.2017. He believed that he would never be able to get a natural hairline and density. However, he proved himself wrong when he achieved his final results of the transplantation procedure with us. We restored his frontal zone and the number of grafts used were: Scalp donor - 3491 Mr. Menon was one of the patients who experienced a direct growth sans the shedding phase of the transplanted follicles. Within three months he had already had his first haircut when he visited us for a follow up. It is not unusual for the patients to achieve a direct growth when they undergo the Direct Hair Transplantation technique. Also attached are the video links to Mr. Menon's testimonials:

  12. Best Results of advanced Grade Baldness, 7000 Grafts (Scalp + Beard), Dr Pradeep Sethi - Eugenix Hair Sciences Mr. Raman was very conscious about his hair loss and he used to keep his hair on the side of his head longer and used to cover the balding area with it. He had curlier side of hair and the donor density was very good and he wanted to cover the total area in one go. With our rich experience of BHT, we took up the case and judiciously kept the hairline at the optimum point (not too hight neither too low) keeping in mind the ultimate coverage of his total bald area. Breakup of the grafts: Scalp: 4000 (Singles: 558, Rest were multiples) Beard: 3000 Since he had curlier side of scalp hair, his beard hair blended well with the transplanted scalp hair. We provided the graded density from front to crown keeping in mind that the front is the aesthetic importance to the person. After 11 months most of his hair were grown and the crown was as expected, had a little lower density in comparison to the front. And his scalp donor is still adequate to be harvested again to do the crown.
  13. A 45 years old hotelier with advanced grade of baldness approached us for a look change hair restoration along with his hotelier friend. Both of them had the expectations of complete coverage of the bald scalp. The index patient had a big size scalp to be covered. Our experience revealed that he needs close to 10,000 odd grafts for a complete job. We started with covering the front, mid and the anterior part of the crown area. Close to 7890 grafts were planted (from both scalp and beard) over 3 consecutive days. He was informed that the crown would be done later. We had to ensure that the scalp donor does not look over harvesrted and uncosmetic. Also we had to be sure about the final outcome of the beard area. Fortunately, being a hotelier he never wanted to have a beard! Moreover he wanted to cover the baldscalp with hair, which was a long standing wish. The hair started growing by 2-3 months and by 10 months he felt like a new man with hair and renewed confidence and grew moustache as a sign of royal confidence! He has become a very dear friend and wants to share his story with all. Please witness his story in his own words: The following link shows some more results of advanced grade of baldness at Eugenix with Dr Pradeep Sethi and Dr Arika Bansal.
  14. A very senior dermatologist with grade 7 baldness of 54 years age was evaluated by us for hair restoration. His donor area was limited but the density was good. Also, as expected the beard was great as inversely related to the baldness. We completed the procedure over two sittings in a gap of one year. First sitting: Over three days Total grafts: 7630 (Scalp: 3760, Beard: 3900) After a very encouraging result of the first sitting, we thought to lower the hairline by 1 cm and increase the density of the crown and the parietal(hump) areas. Second sitting: Over one day Total grafts: 3500 (Scalp: 1500, Beard: 2000) Total of 11,130 grafts were planted which not only changed the look but also the fortune of the doctor and he shifted his practice from dermatology to Hair restoration!
  15. Dr Pradeep Sethi of India is in United Kingdom, London and Manchester for next few days. He would be happy to meet people who would like to have a meeting in person with him over a cup of coffee. The following numbers can be contacted for scheduling the meeting. 1. Amit : +44 7988 203749 2. Dr. Narender Sharma: +44 7719 572528
  16. The picture qualities are not upto the current standards due to them being from the old stock. Sharing one old patient of 2012-13. An extreme case of baldness with poor scalp donor approached us in 2012 with expectations of a complete full head with hair. He already had a procedure of 2000 odd grafts from another clinic. He wanted to be double sure that we can grow good hair, so he first asked us to do 2000 chest grafts. (His chest hair were unusually very robust!) Most of these 2000 hair grew in 6 months and he developed confidence in us and went for 5000 grafts (4000 beard and 1000 scalp). After 6 months he went for another 5000 grafts (4500 beard, 500 scalp), to enhance the density and lower the hair line. After one year he went for augmenting the hairline and enhancing the density in some areas with another 2500 grafts (1500 from beard and 1000 from scalp). So, in total he has received 16,500 grafts over 2.5 years ! The facial scars are hardly visible, due to the very sharp, small punches and a rapidly healing skin of the face. Note: The patient had a dream of being on stage in acting and singing. Due to baldness he was lacking confidence and was avoiding the social gatherings and was withdrawn. He had made up his mind to do a complete job and he knew that he has got a great unusual beard and wanted to donate every beard hair for a great coverage of the scalp. Ultimately he has got a hairline and density of his desire and now he is living his passion and doing movies and enjoying a great singing career as well.
  17. Mr Anup Jalota is a 65 year old celebrity singer in India. He was wearing a wig for many years. He had one procedure done 7 years back. Over all the donor was very depleted and the hair quality was poor due to senile thinning. Close to 5000 grafts were planted in the first sitting over 2 days. Around 2500 grafts were extracted from scalp and another 2500 were extracted from the beard on two consecutive days. The posterior aspect of the transplanted area had a mixture of scalp and beard grafts. Another 2000 odd grafts were planted on the crown area after one month, 500 scalp ones and 1500 beard ones. So, a total of 7000 grafts were planted. Astonishingly, most of the grafts started growing straight away with out the initial expected telogen effluvium! (Though we experience this in many patients. Some percentage of grafts they grow straight away. This is due to the DHT concept of FUE we practice, wherein the grafts are planted within few minutes of extraction. We also ensure least root handling by using dull needle implanters in the premade slits.) In this index case we also used trumpet punches which ensured some extra tissue around the follicles. The extra tissue gave the cushion to the nearly friable thin grafts. A remarkable growth was seen by 3 months and a great appreciable growth was seen by 6 months.
  18. Presenting a successful hair restoration story in a Scarring Alopecia (Lichen Plano Pilaris, LPP). The lady patient of 26 years old presented to us with a childhood history of Scarring Alopecia which was non progressive for more than last 10 years. She was socially conscious and regressive. As expected, she always wanted hair on her head and was hiding her big hairless patch of scar with regular use of a cap. When we saw her, took a detailed history and wanted to be 100% sure of the non progressiveness of the condition before taking her up for the procedure. So, we did a test patching of 200 grafts to see any remnant of activities of the disease. After near to 6 months, most of the 200 grafts grew. This gave us the confidence to go ahead and do the bigger chunk of the scarring patch. We did 2000 grafts (the patient allowed us to do a complete trimming of the donor area as she was expecting the best possible result to her by us). We kept on following her. She came after four months with some visible growth and by the end of 1 year, most of her hair had grown and she could cover most of her bald patch and is extremely happy. We are following her since then and till today her hair is doing well and there is no sign of disease activity. Note: Lichen Plano Pilaris (LPP) is a very rare and unpredictable disease condition which causes Scarring Alopecia in patches in the central scalp and occasionally on the occipital scalp, more often in ladies than males. Usually LPP does not affect the hairline. Also very rarely affects the beard in males. But in many cases, after doing the procedure, the disease which seems silent, gets activated and damages the planted roots. So it is difficult clinically to ascertain the timing of a hair transplantation in LPP. Many physicians consider a silent period of more than 2 years is adequate to do a procedure upon the scarring. But many are proven wrong by the disease reactivation! Also, scarred tissue has altered vasculature and is not the same as the normal skin for transplanting hair. The thickness of the different layers of the skin are also altered so an experienced surgeon only should attempt to do a procedure in a Scarring Alopecia. So there are two unpredictabilities in LPP: 1. Uncertainty of the disease activity, & 2. Unfavourable dermal tissue. Other than doing a biopsy, trusting the history by the patient about the disease activity, a test grafting is essential to predict the future course after transplantation.
  19. Mr. Park from Australia referred by one of his friends who indeed was our old patient, came to us in 2016 with near Grade IV baldness. He had a decent density on the donor scalp. We did close to 3800 grafts spread over 2 days (1st day: 3000 grafts; 2nd day: 800 grafts). Carefully single follicles were chosen and planted on the hairline and a density of 35 to 40 grafts per sqcm were planted. The patient was sensitised about the importance of medicines like Finasteride and minoxidil to prevent the future baldness, as we do to all our patients. I got the opportunity to meet him after 1 year in Sydney and the patient was happy to share his story.
  20. This 31 year old male having a strong family history of baldness approached us in 2014 and we did his case in two sittings, as below. 1st Sitting: 3216 grafts (singles: 410) Keeping in mind his strong family history of baldness, we kept the hairline up at 8 cm from the mid eyebrow point (glabella). And he developed a great result within 5 months of his transplant. And his temple point was untouched. Encouraged with the results, the patient insisted about lowering the hairline. 2nd Sitting: 1784 grafts We did lower the hairline by 1.5 cm and blunted a bit in the fronto temporal area and also did the temple point. As expected, he got an amazing result after 6 to 7 months. We have also primed the patient about the importance of taking the medicines to prevent the future baldness in the mid scalp and the crown.
  21. Mr. Gary used to wear a turban since his childhood till the age of 30. As expected, he developed traction alopecia on the frontal scalp as well as the side locks and the temple points. He wanted to remove the turban and have a natural hairline. He had a bigger size of head and the surface area to be covered was surprisingly larger. In this type of turban induced traction alopecia cases, the difficult area is to do the temple and side locks going up to above the ear. Since these cases are not graded baldness cases, there is a sharp border of high density on the front. So, during transplantation if the transplanted hair does not attain matching density, then the result will not be considered great. So, providing an optimum density in the transplanted area is very important. In this case, we planted 2500 grafts, all extracted from the scalp and the results presented here are after 1 year.
  22. Mr. Ram was very conscious about his hair loss and he used to keep the hair on the side of his head longer and used to cover the balding area with it. He had curlier side of hair and the donor density was very good and he wanted to cover the total area in one go. With our rich experience of BHT, we took up the case and judiciously kept the hairline at the optimum point (not too hight neither too low) keeping in mind the ultimate coverage of his total bald area. Breakup of the grafts: Scalp: 4000 (Singles: 530, rest were multiples) Beard: 3000 Since he had curlier side of scalp hair, his beard hair blended well with the transplanted scalp hair. We provided the graded density from front to crown keeping in mind that the front is the aesthetic importance to the person. After 9 months most of his hair were grown and the crown was as expected, had a little lower density in comparison to the front. And his scalp donor is still adequate to be harvested again to do the crown.
  23. The index patient had a big head. He was Grade VI bald on the Norwood Scale of Baldness. The patient wanted a natural hairline and therefore, we decided to concentrate on the frontal part of the patient's scalp. Total grafts: 4105 (Singles: 430) Temple points: 300 each His donor was average. His fronto - temporal angle and his temple pionts are corresponding to the sharpness of his nose. According to us the right kind of alignment of hairline, temple point corresponding to the nose, chin and mandible is required for a nearly natural look. He started to experience the growth spurt after 4 months and within 8 months he has extremely good results. He is planning for his second sitting on the crown. We have not exhausted his scalp donor and his beard donor is untouched.
  24. Hello everyone, it’s been 9 months since I had my hair transplant procedure done at Eugenix Clinic in Gurgoan. With every passing month my hair is getting thicker and thicker , although normally it takes a year to achieve full results I’m noticing extremely good results in a pretty short time. It took me 3 long years to finalise the best surgeon but every second I spent in searching was worth it , I had consulted many doctors from Delhi , Hyderabad, Chandigarh but everyone told me I could never have head full of hair as I was a grade 7 patient and I needed around 7500 grafts to cover my entire baldness which could only be achieved using scalp grafts along with beard grafts and that it would be highly expensive , as beard grafts costs 2-3 times the cost of a normal scalp graft but by God’s grace I found Dr Pradeep and Dr Arika who not only gave me great results but also charged beard and scalp grafts at the same cost. I had many sleepless nights thinking about my baldness but these doctors came into my life like a candle in darkness, they are genuinely nice people who go out of their way to help their patients, each day I’m thankful to them for making my dream into a reality, sometimes what we need is not a push but rather a miracle to keep us going. I might have paid for my treatment but their kindness and personal care that they gave me i will always remain in their debt. Some memories remain forever, always vivid and heart warming. After meeting these Doctors I understood why a Doctor’s profession is a noble one! We never know the true value of moment until it becomes a reality. It’s time for me to thank these wonderful Doctors who touched my life and changed it forever. 25. Hello all, hope you are well these days My question is simple: How much havoc can I expect DHT to wreak on transplanted follicles? Some say that DHT doesn't affect transplated follicles at all, but I do not see the logic in this as transplanted follicles are also in contact with the blood of the owner just as the original native follicles were and thus should also get into contact with DHT. If it's really true that they are unaffected, why do transplanted follicles thrive and produce when the original ones in the same area died out? If they are affected, how much loss in percent can I expect from the impact of DHT on transplanted follicles? Thx.
