I live in Brazil.
After contacting Jose Lorenzo via email got this answer:
"Estimado Sr. Le remitimos a nuestra clinica de Buenos Aires."
means "Dear Mr. We refer to our clinic in Buenos Aires."
Since Buenos Aires in Argentina it's far closer then Spain...
Doing my homework here about Doctor Alejandro Chueco in Argentina, just got this Thread:
He work in the same name company Jose Lorenzo.

Want Fue technic and very pleased about the use of "Lion Implanters".
My case it's kinda simple, just like:
http://www.hairtransplantnetwork.com/images/vid-tn-men.jpg - sides stage 2/3 no vertex and good density in the front.
A) Chueco would charge me 5.000 usd for 1.800 FUE's.
Trip would cost me 600 usd - 5.600 total
B) Lorenzo would cost me almost double.
Question: if you were in my place... And could afford both.
Where would you go? A, B, or maybe you have a C one?
I'm 33 and i still have hair all over, even though the hair on top of the skull have been falling quite a bit in the last 5-6 years, and the one left are getting thiner and thiner (it is really see-through now). For the first time i am considering HT (still investigating, i may still decide go for the shaved look from now on)
I live in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and i browsed this forum to figure out if i could find a good surgeon for an HT down here.
From what i could find here, here is the info i got on HT in Buenos Aires from the forum :
. Dr. Gustavo Chachir sucks and he won't see me - http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/154689-dr-gustavo-chachir-buenos-aires-argentina.html
Other than that, i heard from or found on the internet about Buenos Aires HT clinics :
. Alvi Armani hair restoration clinic founded by Dr. Antonio Armani, - (Link removed by moderator - See Terms of Service) [/url] - sponsor of HairSite (hairSite really promotes only this one in Argentina, but i am unsure on how much HairSite can be trusted) - (Link removed by moderator)

There are probably many more, but well, those stand out with a decent-looking website, and somewhat clear explanations. However, i have no idea if any of them are actually good, and this is where i need help. If by any chance you had experienced with one of those doctors or clinics, good or bad, please comment!
Thanks for the help and congrats for the website and the community.
As a public service to other hair loss sufferers considering saving a few dollars by having the procedure done in Buenos Aires I have decided to post this warning against having any procedures done by Dr. Gustavo Chajchir of Buenos Aires, Argentina.
I had 2 procedures done by the arrogant Dr. Chajchir with disastrous results. The results of the first operation were simply awful.Chajchir didn't create a natural hairline nor use single focular units but rather used unnatural bunches of 5-10 hairs. Thinking he would feel embarassed and perform a better second operation, I returned (like an idiot) and paid for a second procedure. The results of the second procedure were worse than before. The donor area required several months to heal and at one point became so infected that I had to start taking antibiotics.
I recently returned to the USA and went to see a renowned h/t surgeon who told me that the quality of my transplant was very poor, that the reason for the severe donor infection was that the donor area was too low and into the muscle, that the hair line was unnatural and that the procedure was not done with care and medical professionalism. The doctor was able to tell me that my options are now very limited and that I must go for laser therapy to remove a good portion of the front hairline.
Please listen to this story and do not have a transplant done by Chajchir.
Thank-you for reading this.
