  1. Wow, this behaviour of the rep was not only inappropriate, it is borderline criminal. Being expelled from this forum is the right thing to do by @Melvin-Moderator However, the explanation and answers of Dr. Bhatti are not convincing to me and give me the feeling that the seriousness if this situation is not seen by him. If the rep was provoked or not, is no excuse at all. If a clinic would contact my employer, I would immediately hire a lawyer and sue the entire clinic. An employer should be fired immediately for this behaviour. Only one thing I want to ad regarding the result as this discussion raises in many threads: For most of the bad results (from the better clinics) there is no explanation. Of course, there can be an underlying physical issue or the grafts could have been mishandled but in most cases the body just does not connect the grafts. Grafts are little organs and sometimes the body does not accept them. HT is risky, that is way I always recommend to be cautious and not to go "all-in". I know it is hard to except, but it is the brutal truth: No one can answer the questions below.
  2. Exactly, this is why I said, banning the username on this forum is just irrelevant, it would not change anything or make much different. Now, how do you protect other members here, and future patients? Logically by removing the doctor from the recommended list. Why? Because, this is the only way you can protect your members by showing that this site only associate with Doctors who hold accountability and with integrity. It gives hope and faith to any future patients. Also, it would only be fair for other doctors on the list also. Tomorrow, let's say other Doctor sort of did what as Dr. Bhatti and his team did, and someone else faced the same problem, would we just banned their username and patient rep? Would it be fair? Then if you remove the doctor from here, he would say, why wasn't any action taken against Dr. Bhatti. This is the logic.
  3. @HTHopeThis is what I'm trying to saying since 1 week ago. This is not only now about the bad results, but this crossed all the lines and limit what a surgeon and his co did. And the only feedback about how his patient representative behaved, he can only say he don't know and according to him all his patients detail is available to his patient rep. If this is how someone practice a medical service, then it's a clear warning for anyone in future to avoid Dr. Bhatti or even anyone who does this.
  4. Thanks for the kind words mate! Let me get it straight, you had 2 HTs in the past? Who did your first HT? After 2nd HT by Dr. Bhatti himself, you had like my final result in Arenamed?! I read many good feedbacks on Darling Buds.
  5. @Badresults Your post was automatically flagged by the system. I'm not sure why, but please do not make this the Dr. Bhatti show. You have your own thread, and there's no need to carry that conversation over here- this thread is not the place. That is why I suggested the other patient to create his own thread.
  6. I am literally disgusted at Dr. Bhatti & Co behavior !!!!! Like @Panamera13 said, Bhatti is lucky to be in India because in some other country he wouldn't go away with it so easily. Refund should be given in goodwill! I didn't quite understand what @Badresults 's employer has to do with all this? Can someone explain? If everything I read is true, this is a great opportunity for the forum to gain trust and reputation and remove Bhatti from the recommended surgeons asap.
  7. Dear Community, After reading the patients email string, and carefully reviewing both sides, I will say that I'm thoroughly disappointed by Dr. Bhatti's rep, what he did was completely uncalled for and in my opinion, his suspension is justified. I haven't seen any evidence that Dr. Bhatti was aware of the email, the dates are different, and it appears that Shera sent that email when he was mentioned in this thread, it seemed like an impulsive reaction. I do see that Dr. Bhatti mentioned defending himself after the patient commented about speaking to YouTubers about his results. I don't like the choice of words, and I really think this could have been handled a lot better. I will need to speak to Dr. Bhatti about this issue. That said, I don't agree with refunds, especially when they're attached to non-disclosure agreements. Every hair transplant patient agrees to the risk of a failed procedure, there are no money-back guarantees. That is one of the reasons why I deter so many from having a hair transplant, because there is always a risk of looking worse and losing money. I will need more time to gather more information, I have been extremely busy, as I work a full-time job, and this has taken a large chunk of my time. I still have questions that need answered, so I will notify the community as I gather more information.
  8. Thank you for the comments Pangloss. In the photos you see men with even good chest have longer and darker hairs and even though the first person has a lot of abdomen, you see them also finer and therefore a longer resting phase is evident and a shorter growth phase than the chest has that is more abundant and darker and better quality. As said this is the norm, but I have seen some patients, and ethnic groups also play a part and I recall some southern Europeans who have very strong abdomen hair that is very good but always they have had good chest hairs as a consequence and a carpet of hair that is all terminal. Some will in essence have more "terminal" hairs grow, some will remain vellus and this is genetics that is individual to them. Also medication plays a part, as DHT blockers can weaken body hair, so Minoxidil has a positive effect. I would agree with Dr.Bhatti for the norm of the anagen phases for most, but you may be one who has little difference in the anagen phases of abdomen to chest, an exception more than the norm, so for your case it could be different. Dr.Bisanga has many years of experience in Strip/FUE and body hair, and unlike many he is not a recent convert to FUE, but has been doing it since inception of his career that now spans 20 years, and also has seen a lot of and performed a lot of body hair cases and in his experience he says scalp is king, beard is prince and then you need to evaluate the rest, but usually will, unless exceptional circumstance, limit himself to beard and chest and even then cherry pick the good and stronger ones from the pattern that the patient has. Beard also has variations throughout it and usually the peripheral areas are finer so have less of an anagen phase. If you are on Minoxidil you may notice this increases also. The rate of growth you quote for stomach is not usually transection as if transection is clear then they would not be transplanted unless in good condition still and in the hope something would grow, so it is more survival of them from the operation. Of course they can take longer to grow than scalp hair due to the phases being different to scalp and I have known some even get growth at two years on body hair. Back in 2007 I had a training doctor punch 300 grafts on my chest, I got small dots and could see where they were punched from and got hairs come back in these same spots, so the follicle was transected and the part left behind re-grew from my chest, so it had not been fully captured and chest is harder due to angles splaying around and it was interesting to see the re-growth in the original area. Back hair can be very coarse, but normally those who have back hair and on shoulders also, have an abundance of chest that is also tapped into firstly. Like anything, there are the rules and then the exceptions who may genetically have different characteristics and be able to exploit that. If you would like to post photos or even send me photos of your case then I will pass to Dr.B to assess for you an give you his opinion on what he would harvest from for you.
  9. Thanks for your reply, sl. Since the stomach is jelly-like, does that mean transection rates are always going to be higher compared to the chest? Another question: Dr. Bhatti, in one of his videos, said that the anagen phase of the stomach hair is considerably shorter than the chest hair. I'm having a hard time accepting that, since the hairs on both my chest and stomach are pretty identical and grow to the same length. Is it possible that anagen/telogen ratios might be very different in individual cases, and some men have a much longer anagen phase than average in their body hair? I also remember he said that anagen phase for cheek hair was very short, like 2.5 months, and that does not agree with my experience. I'm sure my cheek hair grows much longer than that. A good percentage of my stomach hairs seem to be double hairs, which is also a plus. Various studies I've read give success rates for chest hair at 60 to 70 percent, and for stomach hair at less than 50%. Can that all be attributed to greater transection in the stomach hairs since they are harder to extract successfully?
  10. Nice video, SL. A few thoughts: Why are chest hairs better than stomach hairs? You say on the video that you use chest hairs but not stomach because the stomach hairs and leg hairs are vellus hairs. Not true in my case. My stomach hairs are exactly the same as my chest hairs. They are good calibre robust hairs and they grow pretty long, I would guess at least 3 inches and I have to clip them all the time. Dr. Bhatti said in another video that stomach hairs have a much shorter anagen phase than chest hairs. If that is true, why do my stomach hairs seem to grow just as long as my chest hairs? I am interested in using my beard, chest and stomach hairs to add density to an old transplant, because I have a depleted scalp donor area and also strip scars I would like to fix. I have denser hair on my stomach than on my chest, though plenty of hair in both places. I'm also concerned about the higher transection rates and lower survival rates of these hairs. But why the distinction between chest and stomach when they appear, at least in my case, to be identical?
  11. Interesting video, but one contradiction strikes me. Dr. Bhatti said that the hair on the cheek has only a 2.5 month anagen phase, which means it cannot grow long and should not be used. But later in the video he talks about having used the hair from the cheek of one patient. A 2.5 month anagen phase means that the hair would not grow longer than about 3 centimeters. That's certainly not my experience with my cheek hairs, which I'm sure grow much longer than that. Is it possible that the duration of the anagen phase varies with different people?
  12. Send me the emails, he told me he was in recent communication. I can only comment on what I’m told. In regards to the harassment, the rep explicitly mentioned acting alone, and there is no proof that Dr. Bhatti was aware. If you can provide me with any proof please do so, otherwise let’s stick to facts and not hearsay. When I mentioned this to the physician, he was in total agreement that it was not right. Lastly, I’m not telling you anything, I’m here for support. Moving forward, if you decide to go with another surgeon, I would advise you to get a small test first, to ensure the grafts grow, and if they don’t, definitely get a biopsy.
  13. Melvin, First of all, Dr. Bhatti has not been in touch with me up to recently. The last he had any conversation with me was last year before I posted my results over here. That was on June 10th 2019! And on June 18th, after my posting here, Shera his representative sent that email to my employer. Now most importantly, as I have mentioned in above post since last year, Bhatti did not know what went wrong on his procedure. He couldn't give any solid explanation why the results is so so bad, and all he can say he don't know. If you had paid a sum to doctor for your surgery, and he could not explain to you what went wrong and only say 'lets hope for the best' would you go back to him and let him do an 'experiment' on you? Btw I only had 1 surgery before Bhatti, and best part when I met Bhatti first time in his clinic before surgery he was so quickly to judge the first procedure result is bad because they did not know how to do a surgery etc and he wrote me note to that I should post my result here. Never once Bhatti, asked me to go on Skype to have a look on my results or condition, his email reply is only 2 lines always. And you are suggesting that I should go back to him for a touch up? And that after his representative black mailing my employer? LOL, Knowing what his team had done before, I might not even come back alive from Chandigarh. I know like many other surgeries, there is no guarantee on hair transplant. However how the physician communicate and respond to you and address your concern and to what extend the physician put an effort to solve your problem says so much about a Doctor. Like I have said many times Dr. Bhatti reply has always been I don't know, lets hope for the best, I don't know what to tell you. With those reply with anyone let any doctor in this planet do an experiment on you? Also, with so so many bad results and complain on this particular clinic, why is this surgeon still being a recommended doctor here? If in a real world, anyone who black mails a patient or anyone would face serious consequences.
  14. Dear Community, I have spoken to Dr. Bhatti, and he advised me that he has been in communication with this patient via email until recently. He has offered the patient a touch-up procedure and invited him back to his clinic. He didn't make any excuses and mentioned that he will stand by his work, should the patient give him a chance to rectify the situation. In my opinion, he is standing by his work. I personally do not agree with non-disclosure agreements, to me giving a refund and attaching it to an NDA is hush money. This forum is great because it allows patients the opportunity to share their genuine reviews both good and bad. Unfortunately, NDA's robs patients the opportunity to share their real story, and robs our community as well. In short, hair transplant surgery is never guaranteed, and any surgeon that guarantees their work is lying to you. Now, going back is completely up to this patient, personally I do believe in second chances, but I'm also cognizant of the fact that this patient has now had two failed transplants. The only thing I can offer is support, whatever he decides to do, and I'm here to help. Let's move forwards and upwards,
  15. Hello Fellow Members, I intend this to be the first post of my HT journey in 2020. My sincere thanks to this community and every person online who has shared knowledge, perspectives, opinions, results, etc. This has equipped me to make an informed decision. I know at least 14 relations and friends who have expressed sincere desire to get a HT, but remain at the periphery due to fear of high assumed costs, side effects, etc. resulting from lack of research and not personally knowing anyone who underwent the procedure. This documentation of my experience will be a first hand example to motivate them and other new people on this forum (assuming all goes well). As such, this is my contribution to equip future patients with information and confidence. About me - Male; 29.5 years old; Indian immigrant currently studying in Canada. Why HT? - While I have never visited a doctor for a proper diagnosis, I assume I am suffering from Androgenic alopecia inherited from my mother's side. I have been experiencing hair loss since 17-18 years of age. Finally I am at that stage where the hair loss has become very evident and troubling when I look in the mirror or at my photos, and I would like to do something about it sooner rather than later. I am not interested in non-surgical restoration methods like wigs/hairpieces, etc., but open to medication. Why India? - I really wish I could get it done here in Canada for convenience. I first visited Dr. Rahal for a consultation. He is local to me. I have no doubts in his ability, but his services will cost me about 3-4 times of what I will pay in India for the services of a highly skilled doctor. For an affordable HT, I chose India over Turkey to avoid language barriers and for the comfort of homeland. Also, most IAHRS members and other globally recognized surgeons are more affordable in India than Turkey (except Dr. Resul Yaman and Dr. Ekrem Civas I think). FUE or FUT? - Last year I got super excited and emailed Dr. Suneet Soni (Medispa) that I was interested in getting FUT done from him and he gave me a quote for 3500 FUT grafts. Unfortunately, my limited financial resources were urgently required somewhere else and I had to delay. I let Medispa know that I was going to delay. This gave me more time to think and research. I read about FUE with Dr. Bhatti (Darling Buds) and DHT with Eugenix Clinic, and saw many cases of scar stretching from FUT. Finally I decided that I did not want to take that risk regardless of which closure/stitching technique is used, and also I wanted a quicker and less painful healing. So I am interested in FUE or DHT only. Who in India? I am nearing the end of the process of identifying potential options, and until now I have shortlisted the following surgeons. My photos are posted at the end of text. a. Dr. Tejinder Bhatti of Darling Buds. He suggested 2800-3000 FUE grafts and answered all my questions satisfactorily and seems very professional. I thought his consultant Shera would contact me when I first emailed, but I believe I have been chatting with the Dr. directly. The fact that he doesn't perform FUT at all and his entire practice is based around aggressively promoting FUE, along with the fantastic FAQ on his website promotes confidence in his skills as a trustworthy FUE surgeon. He is a member of pretty much all prestigious global associations and was also featured in some publication's 'Top 20 global surgeons for HT' ranking. His website has transparent pricing. Cons: I came across some posts on this forum where the results were far from satisfactory and the post-operation response and support those patients received from the clinic seemed disappointing for a clinic of such high reputation. b. Eugenix (will probably select the comprehensive pkg. which has partial involvement of Dr. Bansal and Dr. Sethi). I was in touch with their consultant Nelson a couple of months ago and he offered a Skype session with a doctor (don't know which doctor). I postponed it due to personal reasons, but have resumed the conversation. Regardless, Nelson had mentioned that the doctor suggested 2000 grafts through DHT. I don't know which doctor since there are 5 at the clinic, and was a little surprised by the qty. of suggested grafts, but will bring up this question in the Skype session. Also, it would be good to know what percent (approx.) of total slits are done by Dr. Bansal or Dr. Sethi in comprehensive pkg. I chose Eugenix because Dr. Bansal and Dr. Sethi are highly reputed surgeons, inventors, authors of books and publications, and members of prestigious societies. They are also listed on Joe Tillman's recommended surgeons list. Their website has transparent pricing. Cons: I can't afford full services of Dr. Sethi or Dr. Bansal and will have to place my trust in the young doctors trained by them for majority of the procedure. c. Dr. Suneet Soni of Medispa He suggested 3500 FUT grafts (because I started a conversation advocating FUT). I have read that Dr. Soni is the best for FUT, but not necessarily FUE. All his successful results are also FUT + FUE. I emailed him recently (after many months) with new photos and requesting quote for FUE. He has not responded since a week. Not sure if he is still interested. Regardless, I chose him for his results, excellent website (though no transparent pricing), prestigious memberships, and artistic reputation. My recent photos are attached. Please share your opinions, ideas, insight, suggestions regarding my surgeon choices above and the photos below. I will be very grateful for your time and help. Tagging some fellow members who also posted similar questions recently and seemed undecided on their search. @Alphabeta @Dalveer @skallig @givemehair2019
  16. Hi Melvin, Thanks for making it clear but I believe you should have named the surgeon and the representative in your announcement, so it would be clearer to anyone who comes and just read the latest post without going through the start of it. Some of them would do that and it could save someone to go through this all over again in future. Also, I do not think Dr.bhatti from Darling Buds, or 5 Rivers Hair Transplant or whatever subsidiary centre he would want to call, are not aware of what his representative actions. Of course now that is what he would claim after me sending you the proof. If really he did not know what Shera who is Dr.Tejinder Bhatti representative from UK did, Bhatti would have come here and refuse or publicly reply me when I wrote 4 days ago and even when you reached out to him to reply. They was just waiting to see if I could get hold of the proof, and if I couldn't then he would come here to deny. Question to you and everyone to wonder, why didn't the Doctor himself refuse or made any reply publicly from day one I started this post? Why didn't the doctor reply on the allegation when you asked him to do so? Why didn't the doctor discussed the results outcome publicly last year? why must a patient representative whom I did not consult reply me, when I did not even go to him for consultation? Why must a patient representative try to intimidate me by sending out an email to employers to shut me off? This is all a simple straightforward questions which nobody needs to be a genius to know the answer. Simply because Dr.Tejinder Bhatti from Darling Buds, 5 Rivers Hair Transplant Chandigarh India knows everything from start and to calm things off now he don't mind even if the patient representative from UK Shera, being made a temporary scapegoat.
  17. It's been almost 48 hours and there is no any reply from Dr. Bhatti or anyone from @DarlingBudsClinic or what they also known now as the 5 Rivers Hair Transplant, or from the 'famous' patient rep @Shera.
  18. Hi Melvin, thanks. However don't you think it is strange that it's being more than 24 hours I posted my last post and no one from Dr.Bhatti or his representative tried to refuse the allegation? If this was a false allegation towards a Doctor who's reputation at massive risk he should be brave enough to deny, don't everyone think so? I don't have anything to gain from making a false allegation especially after posting more than 1 year.
  19. Wow this is extremely disugsting and shameful. But I am not surprised doctors and their representatives go to such lengths to attack their patients. I had a similar experience with Medlinks' Gaurang who is an absolute fraud and liar and completely botched my hair transplant. Moreover, when I posted about my bad results hrere his staff created fake accounts and started astroturfing Damage Done to DONOR by fraud Gaurang and Medlinks I am glad I didn't reveal my identity on my post. Otherwise, I might have ended up getting harrassed by Medlinks too. If the details revealed by @Badresults are indeed true then Dr. Bhatti should be immediately removed from the list of recommended surgeons on the forum.
  20. Guys, I would appreciate if we do not promote other clinics in this thread, as it is not relevant to this patients concerns. I have reached out Dr. Bhatti for his response, and I have invited him to respond. @Badresults I ask that you allow Dr. Bhatti to discuss your case publicly.
  21. I can try to get the email from my former employers which Shera sent to them last year. Anyway, if my intention was to lie, I wouldn't have waited for almost 1 year plus to come back on this forum. Also, I'm not sure why that shera has to get involved, when I did not consult or ask his opinion regarding Dr.Bhatti. I went direct to Dr. Bhatti therefore I don't see a reason someone from UK need to come and defend Bhatti.
  22. @Badresults Please pm your name and date of surgery, we need to confirm you’re a patient, and please allow Dr. Bhatti to formally respond to your case.
  23. Hello, I am making this post to create a tracker. I wrote about my experience/background in a previous post. I am going to try to keep the two somewhat separate. If you want to learn about my journey, visit the other post here. I will try to keep updating anyone interested on this post from March 5th 2019 going forward. Before and immediately after:
  24. Here's my hair transplant testimonial from China. I had 4 transplant procedures, my very first being in the early 80's . My hairline was so bad (even after the fourth procedure that it was frequently difficult to carry on a conversation owing to the fact that the person I was talking to kept staring at my hairline. I was a living, breathing freak show. I did my research and found out about Dr. Tejinder Bhatti in India through this forum and some others. He has an excellent reputation among the experts in the field of hair restoration and so I went to his office to have my fifth procedure done almost exactly one year ago. Please see the before/after pictures below. They have been taken at 3, 4, 5 months down the line & at one year after. I don't know how to upload videos here so the clinic has made one for me. I will get the link from them soon. Let me tell you about this guy. He is the real deal. The clinic is run very professionally. In 2 of my 4 previous procedures it was an assembly line. There were I think 4 other patients being worked on at the same time I was. But Dr. Bhatti spent an entire day totally dedicated to my hair transplant procedure. Around 2400 head and 500 beard grafts were used per my pictures which am uploading. I will get the exact breakup for you soon. There is no waiting around to be seen and the staff are extremely helpful and friendly. Dr. Bhatti also has a driver who met me at the airport and drove me to the clinic at an extremely reasonable rate. Dr. Bhatti is not only a very skillful surgeon (as you can see from the pics below) but has also become a good friend of mine. If you are thinking of having a hair transplant procedure contact Dr. Bhatti. You will not be disappointed. If you have any questions, do ask!
