  1. 1st time posting here. i've been losing hair since i was 20, did my 1st HT FUT in 2013 for 1500 grafts, then 2nd FUE HT with a well known surgeon in Beverly hills for 2000 grafts in Dec 2018. its been around 18 months since i had that 2nd procedure and id say i'm about 60% satisfied with the front. I was told by that Dr. that i would need a 3rd procedure to fill the mid and crown which i planned to do. However after seeing the results with this doctor, i'm not prepared to spend a ton of money for another 2000 grafts as he suggested that won't achieve my goals. There appear to be areas like my right side hairline that are see through and right in the middle front where i feel like he didn't put any grafts or nothing grew. After consulting with a few doctors, i was told i am a repair case. I do want to note, i was advised to take FIN and i did not as i was scared of the sides and i did continue to lose more hair in the mid/crown. I plan on starting FIN 1 mg a day or every other day. when i do my 3rd HT after talking to numerous people and doctors. I started looking at doctors in Turkey (Pekiner, HLC, Demirsoy, ASMED, Hair transplant of Istanbul, then India (bhatti, Suneet Soni) and i also reached out to Couto, Lorenzo, Ferreira of Spain/Portugal. Dr. Couto is unfortunately not accepting any consultations at the moment. I found some decent results on some Brazilian doctors, has anyone on hear have good experience with them? I recently saw Thiago BIanco Leal and they look solid too. Turkish clinic i short listed was Pekiner who advised me 4000 grafts (2000 from BHT). I wasn't expecting to take that many grafts from beard/chest at least in my 3rd HT. i know that yields on BHT is lower than scalp. For India, Soni said i would also need 4000 grafts but max 2500 via FUE and 1500 grafts with FUT. This was the first time i was introduced by a doctor of combining FUT+FUE. I'm not looking to have a 2nd linear scar. Bhatti said i only have 2200-2500 grafts available and thats all i need for the crown. Dr. Ferreira's clinic gave me a detailed assessment/plan and Dr. Ferreira personally emailed me saying i would need 4000 grafts to fill my mid/crown and do another procedure 5 months from then to repair donor scar and touch up hairline as its a bit see through. He mentioned my donor looks good for 4000 grafts, my previous doctor also mentioned that after my 2nd HT.
  2. I did also want to mention/acknowledge that I have read the last few big threads about Dr. Bhatti and some of the unprofessional/odd behavior of the Doctor and his reps on this forum. I made it pretty clear to Dr.Bhatti and his team that I have done my research regarding hair transplants, methods, expectations and results. I also made it known that I visited this forum as I showed that I wanted a result similar to another Bhatti poster himself (shoutout to @petroholic) and was looking for a similar result. I myself had a pretty good experience throughout my hair transplant and trip to India and there were no issues with communications (although I'm fluent in Punjabi/English/Hindi lol). I can answer any questions anyone has in regards to my experience. Cheers!
  3. While Harley Street Clinic is one of top ones as well in UK along with Dr. Reddy & Dr. Edward Ball, I would strongly advise against UK clinics. Generally what I found is they're estimating less grafts than other clinics in EU or Turkey/India as they know how expensive it is. Don't get me wrong, they can achieve great result with smaller amount of grafts, but In your case 2000 grafts won't do much I believe. You will still need to go for a touch up later on, while elsewhere you could get away by having only 1 procedure with around 3500-4000 grafts. (just my non-doctor opinion from many many observations). I would suggest Dr. Lorenzo if you can afford as he is undoubtedly one of the best in the world and will manage your donor well. Also worth looking into Dr. Ferreira like Portugal said. He is currently working with Dr. Lorenzo as well as in his own clinic in Portugal. I personally had procedure done with him earlier this year and so far I'm at 4.5 months and I'm extremely happy with both donor and recipient. If you want to reduce expenses a bit further look into Eugenix in India. They're producing quite great results. Dr. Bhatti in India is also a great surgeon know to produce amazing coverage with small amount of grafts (however, I'm not particularly a big fan of his hairlines), but his job on high NW is very good. There are quite a few amazing docs like Dr. Lupanzula, Dr. Couto, Dr. Bisanga, Dr. Maras etc. with slightly different approaches etc. It's really worth investing some time and learn more about all of them and understand why they're different between each other and which doctor is actually best for your particular case. Once you understand what exactly you need you will find surgeon who would suit your case the best.
  4. Hello Guys, Hope you are all doing well in this time of unrest, So, basically I started loosing my hairs when i was like i think 17-18, During the Initial stages I dint knew anything about hair fall or anything one of my friend suggested me Minoxidil 5%. I used that for like 2 years and i use to use only on my temples as i use to feel as I'm losing hair's only from that area. Then i felt my hair loss did not stop and I tried a homeopathic doctor which I continued for almost 2 years and I stopped that too. Since past three years I did not do anything expect may be for massing my hairs as i thought i have to any way get a hair transplant eventually. I maintained very short hairs, I believe that's the reason I have some hairs left. Now I am curently 25 years old , I have become a bit financially stable and can think of spending money on my hair transplant. I am looking forward to have a hair transplant at around february next year. I researched a few hair transplant clinics (not a lot though i just started my research a month ago), I found Korey Erdogan's result very natural and I asked him for a evaluation, He said I would need around 5000 grafts and that would cost me 12500 euros, Wow that's too expensive for me I dropped him Immediately from my List. I also asked for an Evaluation from Eugenix and Dr. Tejander Bhatti. Eugenix replied me with 3500 and finestride(which im not sure what to do) but the cost of Eugenix would be fine to me. I have not yet received any feedback from dr. bhatti yet. I am looking forward from suggestion from you guys for clinics in my range and any general suggestion is mostly welcome. I have my photos please have a look at them. Thank you guys Regards,
  5. Good points @BeHappy I was just shocked how Dr. Bhatti managed to slip between the cracks for so long despite such bad results. The threads go back to 2018. I am glad that the forum protects the interests of the members though. Everyone was very supportive to me on my thread.
  6. Dr. Bhatti is no longer a recommended surgeon, so coming back and trying to imply that I tried to save a surgeon is not only false, but it’s insulting. At this point, it’s time to move on, we’ve removed Dr. Bhatti, and there’s nothing further to say, you’re beating a dead horse. I will not tolerate you trying to denigrate our forum and question our integrity, we are one of the few, if not the only forum/organization that actually remove surgeons, and operate openly and transparently. Refer to this thread.
  7. Yeah, I was shocked to look at that thread too, its not just the poster of this topic who got banned (who seems to be a victim of bad donor extraction), but some others also for simply pointing out the obvious mistakes made by the surgeon. From normalizing failure, trying to shift focus on other poster boy patients and asserting that other users were spies from another clinic out to destroy Dr. Bhatti , both these lads @Bill - Seemiller and @Melvin-Moderator have done all that can be done to save Dr. Bhatti in that thread. Not to mention the massive dump that @Shera always takes on such patients all across this forum. In the end Dr.Bhatti got 5 star defense from these guys and a couple of patients got thrown under the bus. At this point maybe they could all sit down and write a book about how to defend a bad HT surgeon.
  8. Holy shit! It's alarming that Dr. Bhatti was being recommended here despite so many disastrously bad results over the years. He only got removed recently. Really shocked!
  9. Dear Community, After much deliberation, we have decided to suspend Dr. Bhatti’s membership. We value the input of the community, and we hear everyone’s concerns loud and clear. We want to remind the community that we appreciate the feedback and input, we have come to the conclusion that it would be in everyone’s best interest to sever ties. We would like to put this ordeal past us and move forward. If any of you have any additional questions feel free to share them here. Moving forward we would like to keep a positive environment, there’s enough division and negativity in this world. We’re all here to restore hair, let’s be civil and move onwards. Best wishes,

  12. Hi Watterot, Thank you for a very fair and well balanced post. I am not privy to the email exchange between you and Dr. Bhatti. Being Dr. Bhatti's Patient Advisor does not mean that I have to defend every action of his. It seems that you did not get the kind of support from the Clinic that you deserved as a Patient. There can be and should be no excuse for that. I can only apologize on the Clinic's behalf at this point and make sure that the Clinic works harder to provide the customer service that we have always prided ourselves upon. Seems that there is definitely a room for improvement here. As I mentioned before, I am not here to justify why a spot on your scalp did not get planted. However, I am glad that you are considering going back to Dr. Bhatti for a follow up visit. I hope and pray that you are able to achieve your HT goals and aspirations, with or without Dr. Bhatti. From our Clinic side, I can commit to you that we will support you the best we can, should you ask for it. That is the least we can do for you and our other Patients. Please feel free to send me a PM if you need my help. I will be on standby. Best regards, California
  13. Hi California, If you have indeed had a conversation with Dr. Bhatti then I'm surprised there is any scope for confusion. I was clear in my mail (prior to posting my thread here) that I will be sharing my pictures with other doctors and seeking the views of forum members here. I would really encourage you to go through the entire mail exchange between me and Dr. Bhatti over the last six months (if you do indeed have access to it). It will give you an idea of how he has not given me an honest answer to why the spot have left. And I have been asking him since the day after the procedure. Hair transplants are no guarantees of course. But the support I have been given has been atrocious. In my case, simply being honest and upfront about why such a decision would have helped me. Instead Dr. Bhatti simply resorted to one liners - shortage of grafts, keeping taking finasteride and growth will come, etc. You're a HT veteran yourself, how would you feel if the doctor told you that he fell short of grafts when indeed he planted 1100 graft in the crown after leaving the area bare? And not once, but multiple times. I may still go and visit Dr. Bhatti for a review, but I'm honestly in no position to let him operate on me again. I respect his 'no refunds' policy and I have no intention of pushing for it. I have started planning ahead for the next procedure and I just want to move on with my life at this point. I understand you're his rep and I have no interest in anyone 'bashing' him. I only speak for myself and my experience in dealing with him and the clinic. Since I was his patient I wanted nothing more than to see him be successful. But you should ask yourself why people on this forum have been so critical of him off-late. This is not a question of a few "not-so-good" results. Dr. Bhatti too should go over this forum and evaluate how can do support his patients better. Or at least be honest and upfront when mistakes are made. As they were in my case. Regards,
  14. Melvin, I honestly feel that this thread has become a breeding ground for "free for all....bash Dr. Bhatti" . Questions are being raised about Dr. Bhatti's competence as an HT Surgeon and even his membership on this forum here. Recently, this forum was even accused of corruption. When I asked for proof, nothing....silence! Talk is so cheap. Accusations are easy to throw around. A few "not so good HT results" are being used and abused to put pressure on this highly reputed forum to act against an HT Surgeon, who has been a highly reputed Surgeon for the past 28 years! Keep in mind the fact that many of film stars from Bollywood and the Pollywood (Punjab film industry) make Dr. Bhatti their first choice for HT. These are folks for whom cost is not an issue......the end result are. Food for thought! ------------------------------------- watterot, we hear your concerns loud and clear. Here is what I am a bit confused about. As per Dr. Bhatti, you are in constant contact with him via email and WhatsApp. You have agreed to come back to the Clinic after the lockdown is over in India (after June 1st) for a follow up visit. Is that not the case? If yes, then I would humbly request you to not make a final judgement on whether or not Dr. Bhatti is willing to back you up and take care of your HT aspirations. I agree with you that there is a spot that didn't seem to get any grafts planted. I am not a doctor and won't try to justify anything. From a layman (who also had 4 HT procedures done) point of view, maybe a better plan would have been to just focus on the hairline and the mid-scalp area and leave the crown for a future time (if and when you chose to do that). ------------------------------ JayLDD, you have said, "I don't say this lightly, but I am 100% sure that if I trained for less than a month I could produce equivalent results". Really? Well, I wish it was so easy to become a doctor and a surgeon. So, going with that logic, if you train for 2 months, then you might be able to do a heart surgery or a brain surgery. Right? You are talking "lightly" about a Surgeon with 28 years of plastic surgery experience and thousands of successful cases. A few 'not to good results' and 'anyone' can do a "better" job than him! Let's ALL become Surgeons.....takes just 1 MONTH!!! -------------------------------- Badresults....quoting you, "Also, when you tell the patient rep, that you would lodge a report for criminal case, they can even suggest you its not a good idea, because in India it is known that everyone can get away by paying money to the authorities"..... YOU KNOW THAT THAT IS NOT TRUE. So, unfortunate that you decided to twist my words. After speaking with you over the phone for over an hour, this is what you got from that conversation? Why the untruth? Did I not repeatedly tell you that you should do what you think is good and feasible for you. You said that you would like to file a police case and I said that you should absolutely do what you like. In passing, I shared my opinion about the legal system in India (IN GENERAL). Now you make it sound as if I was trying to discourage you from doing whatever you would like to do. So, for the record, PLEASE GO AHEAD AND DO WHAT YOU THINK IS GOOD FOR YOU AND FEASIBLE FOR YOU. PLEASE. WE LIVE IN A FREE WORLD. YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO DO WHAT YOU THINK IS GOOD FOR YOU. ----------------------------------------- Yake, you said, "Bhatti needs to improve his work as he is neither offering refund nor giving free repairs". With all due respect, I have to disagree. We offered a full "redo" (not just repair) HT to Badresults. He decided to decline that offer (I respect this opinion and reasons for doing that). We were not able to offer a refund (as would be the case with 99% of reputed HT Clinics, worldwide). So, the assumption that we are not willing to backup our Patients is not accurate. All the best, California
  15. No mate, he would not. As per my experience dealing with this doctor and from all other post from his patient you can see majority of his recent patients having failed results. Perhaps 7/10 times. If you compare the charges he charge and the results he deliver there is so many other options in India who can deliver better results than his, even those clinics in Turkey where they do few surgeries in a day, with all tech team performing most of surgeries delivers better results than Dr.Bhatti. And for international patients, he doesn’t really care much as he know some of them would not bother coming back for repair and if they comes back he will charge them further.
  16. Please send me your name and date of surgery. I will reach out to Dr. Bhatti to confirmation you’re his patient. At this point, I hear the communities concerns loud and clear.
  17. As what you said, I agree almost all the clinics pay to stay on this forum under recommended list of surgeons. That is completely fine, as most of the blogs works that way. However there’s a limit until when a doctor with poor results and poor ethic can stay on as recommended doctors. With more and more patient comes out with horrible results, plus bullying raps and poor follow up service from doctor would only warn future patients if they are going to consider Dr.Bhatti.
  18. I agree. The forum is quickly becoming a graveyard of Dr. Bhatti victims. It's only a matter of time that people stop trusting this website itself and good surgeons stop being associated with it. Which is a terrible outcome since there are some really good and ethical doctors recommended here. This is a strange situation for the moderators. After all they get paid from the clinic and it is hard to turn away a source of income. Just like the forum goes through a process of recommending a doctor, there needs to be a thread for removing a recommendation and relying on feedback. Maybe the feedback / voting can be limited to members who have been here for at least a year or a certain number of posts to prevent new accounts being created. But this malaise needs to be stopped now.
  19. I don't doubt anything you've said. Frankly, I'm surprised how quick the doctor was to suggest that they fell short of grafts. At the minimum it mean poor planning. But of course in my case it wasn't a shortage of grafts since 1100 were planted in the crown subsequently. I have consulted with a few doctors and they are shocked with the approached followed by Dr. Bhatti as well. Fortunately, my donor area has healed well and should be able to yield 3000 graft comfortably. The lockdown over the last few months has meant I haven't had to deal with the social impact of this procedure. I saw your thread. Sorry you had to go through this twice. Happy to connect and share my plan going forward. Maybe this forum needs a dedicated "Dr. Bhatti Victim Support Group".
  20. Yes, it is quite unfortunate. And yes, Dr. Bhatti did ask me to stop taking Fin after six months. I'm disregarding his advice at this point. Luckily I haven't had any side effects and have been recommended by another doctor to keep on taking it at this point.
  21. @JayLDD I 100% agree with you. If you look at this forum, Dr.Bhatti has more bad results from his procedure than any other recommended doctor on this forum. Speaking from my results and experiences dealing with this doctor, typically he shows lack of interest in his post op follow up, and when things don't go right, he would not take the blame or try to put the blame on the patient. If you look at his patient rep Shera reply on my first post here, he was trying to tell that I wasn't a right candidate for HT and I was trying to slander the image of this lousy doctor. And the behaviour of his clinic, where they would try to shut you down when you speak against them just show what kind of ethic do this clinic practice. When they got caught, his reply was he did not know what his patient rep did just like when you ask him what went wrong on his procedure, he would only say he don't know and he can't answer. This shows what kind of doctor is Tejinder Bhatti. Looking at the link below you can see how lightly he takes his job. His poor planning, his answers seems to be uninterested in replying to the patient. And how could he say that taking finestride will grow the hair!!!!??? LMAO this is probably the worst answer I have heard from a so called top surgeon. Just as how you are amazed, I'm still amazed how this doctor is a recommended doctor here on this forum. When you see the reply from their patient rep, they often talk how great human he is, how their entire neighbourhood had surgery with him etc and choose to ignore the real serious problem. The longer he is the recommended doctor here, the more patients will get results like this.
  22. It's 2400 in the front and 1100 at the back. I never bothered to count of course! Regarding BHT do check out Eugenix. They've had some great results with BHT. And most important they tend to stand by their patients unlike Dr. Bhatti. I've been been doing a lot of research off-late (which I should have done before of course), happy to connect with you and discuss options going forward.
  23. Sure, I had put some in an earlier post. I'll add some here tomorrow (pretty late here in India). I think there are a lot of good options both in India and Europe that you can safely avoid Dr. Bhatti.
  24. Hi all, Will keep this as short as possible since I find long posts hard to digest myself. I have my HT with Dr. Bhatti (Darling Buds) on 6th December 2019. He had transplanted approx 3500 grafts, with 2400 at the hairline and front. And subsequently 1100 in the crown after a lunch break. I had met Dr. Bhatti a year prior to the op and while I had got the recommendation from this forum, I did not go through many of the disastrous results his patients have been putting up on this forum. I am now 6 months post op and the results have been extremely underwhelming. My biggest concern however as been from day Day 1, that the clinic decided to leave a spot bare at the midscalp. I noticed something was wrong right after the surgery and asked the doctor in my discussion with him the day after. The conversation went as follows: Me - I noticed a large spot has been left bare (Dr. Bhatti observes) Dr. Bhatti - We fell short of grafts Me - How can that be possible. After leaving this area bare, 1100 grafts were placed in the crown! (Dr. Bhatti give it another look) Dr. Bhatti - Don't worry, if you take Finasteride it will grow there (SPOILER ALERT - It did not) Now every subsequent month I wrote to the doctor with pictures to show that the area obviously did not have any growth. His response was to no worry and just keep on taking Finasteride. Which is of course did. After six months (show in the subsequent two pictures), when the area where no grafts were planted looked extremely disconnected from the rest, I asked him again why the clinic had decided to leave the area bare? His response again was that it was 'DUE TO A SHORTAGE OF GRAFTS' and that he will check his records. I had to remind him once again that this was not possible! Since hair was planted in the crown after leaving that area empty! Now that I have gone through many HT experiences on this forum and others, this has to be the first time I'm seeing a doctor falling short of grafts (even though in my case it wasn't really him falling short? And the experience of dealing with Dr. Bhatti post HT is an absolute nightmare. Has anyone here had a experience where the doctor leaves an area bare and moves to the crown? And then claim he fell short of graft? I have failed to get a clear and honest answer from Dr. Bhatti regarding this for six months now. He is asking me to come visit him. With the current COVID situation in India worsening that would obviously not be possible at the moment. In any case, I do believe he owes me an explaination to why the area was left bare and why he keeps insisting that he fell short of grafts when he clearly did not. The way the HT was conducted meant it was meant to be a failure from day 1. I am now reaching out to other doctors to get their perspective.
