  1. Hi Folks, Long time lurker; My very first post here with the intent to share and contribute based on my upcoming surgery in India with Darling buds and most importantly “ My results “ in the next few months. I feel morally obligated to contribute at least something back to this community that offers : A worldwide network of HT experts, reputed Senior members sharing invaluable info, Top rated HT surgeons positioning their point of views and most importantly "real patients sharing real stories". Background Male in mid-thirties from Canada; NW 3 - Less/More. Past 6 years were dark and depressing. Living in a fool’s paradise; using Toppik daily assuming everything’s fine but somewhere at a deeper level; it continuously bothered me. Finally in 2019; I made the big decision to get a HT. This website is the main reason as to why I was able to solidify on my research, move ahead with a concrete decision and was able to find one of the best doctor (just being positive here) as per my checklist/strict criteria. Special thanks to the Creator of this website – Kudos to the brain that kicked off this humanitarian initiative as it continues to educate millions of potential patients like myself. Why Darling Buds India (I guess they changed the name to 5 Rivers Hospital ) This piece takes forever to decide especially for someone like me who spends gazillions of hours on the Internet/YouTube/Forums. I was always skeptical about giving my Head to someone to be operated; so consulted with many Canadian, American, European, Indian and Turkish clinics. Many reputed names like Dr. Rahal ( Known as the hairline king from Canada), Dr Acar ( Cosmedica Turkey), Dr. Erdogan ( Turkey), Aestimed ( Turkey), LA Hair ( USA), Qunomedical ( Belgium & German clinics), Dr. Cinik ( Turkey) and the list goes on……………………………………………. but None fitted my checklist in it's entirety reflecting 8 Key deciding factors that was prepared after extensive research for years 🙄 : 1. Max cost under 10,000 CAD ( 7500 USD ) for 3500-4000 Grafts to be able to achieve maximum density in my case. YES, I decided to find the best treatment within this range. IMHO, paying this much should suffice in getting you a world class, still affordable HT in today’s age with advanced Technologies, Globalization, the power of internet and competitive market. It's costing me around 9000 CAD ( including some expensive flight tickets) with Dr. Bhatti which seems adequate for the reputation he has or rather a steal ( not sure - will tell later) If budget wasn’t a constraint, I would’ve booked Dr. Rahal ( Canada ) who is local to me OR Dr. Baubac ( Alvi Armani USA) more importantly to save myself from the hassle of flying 20 hours one way, then drive to a different city, book a hotel for a week, apply for a visa, Take few weeks of vacation from work etc. Dr Rahal charges 8 CAD per FUE, most other clinics would cost the same in N. America for FUE Treatment. It’s costing me around 2.40 CAD with Dr. Bhatti ( includes all international/ Local flights, Visa, Hotel, Food, Cab etc.). If you compare Dr Bhatti's fee with his peers who fall in the same reputed arena of global doctors, I think most would sign this off as a great offering for hair loss patients globally. Eugenix quoted around 4 CAD per graft but it was for DHI method. They produced some great results lately and they are the inventors of DHI which is now adapted globally; goes to show that they are researchers also - very impressive. As of 2019, I think Dr. Bhatti and Eugenix should be compared as top players if India is the selected destination for your HT Journey ( My comparison below) I almost finalized Eugenix over Dr. Bhatti but then based on my research, took a U Turn : Eugenix positive aspects: 1. Biggest is DHI - OUT/IN grafts within minutes. Definitely better method as compared to Traditional FUE . I could only find positives so far, no negatives on DHI. It's hard to logically beat DHI method with traditional FUE; so no doctor should even try it IMO. I wish Dr Bhatti would offer DHI to his patients by now ☹ 2. Clinics are located in major cities like Delhi and Mumbai. No need to drive / fly again from major airport all the way to Chandigarh. Eugenix Negative aspects: 1. Some patients mentioned that they were taken for a ride. Eugenix Docs prey on foreign nationals; after or during mid surgery – Dr. Bansal asked for 500 more grafts payment as required and payment must be done during the middle of the operation ( insane); also no breakdown/reasoning was provided in the end. On the contrary, Darling buds has returned some fee to few patients to their surprise which is a classy act of ethical business in my opinion (hard to find) 2. Eugenix costs are almost double than Darling buds( quite expensive for many) but anyways DHI is more costlier than traditional FUE globally and if results are better with more graft survival rate, most patients wouldn't mind paying more. 3. Eugenix is run in a satellite office format, more than one location and hard to get a hold of prime doctors - Dr. Sethi and Dr. Bansal where as Dr. Bhatti provides a peace of mind with one location, one clinic, one doctor who is also the owner of that entire facility with 15 good staff members well trained under him in a peaceful non polluted city near a hill station. #3 was a critical factor in my decision to go with Dr. Bhatti In short, I would’ve loved DHI for best results but I settled with FUE for now Note: Out of thousands, This site recommends ONLY 2 surgeons from Turkey, 7 surgeons from India and 1 from Canada ( I was surprised to see only Dr. Rahal in the list, yes Hasson is there but they're again advocates of FUT ), so HRN really helped me short list 10 surgeons before making the final call 2. ONLY FUE for ME – My heart said a Big “No“ to a linear scar; doesn’t matter if some Doctors persuade you with somewhat genuine reasoning's to avoid FUE such as : FUE provides Less density, FUT offers more grafts and saves Donor area as untouched for future sessions, FUE is a blind process etc. Dr. Feller and Dr. Soni ( Medispa India) seems like the two biggest advocates of FUT over FUE and I agree with some of their explanations as it sounds logical. Dr. Soni really pushed me to sign up with FUT and said his scar technique is different. Promised that he will close it in a way where almost no scarring is visible . It was tough buying into that argument, additionally recent negative reviews about him and I finally decided to brush him aside at that point. 3. Doctor MUST perform the operation (No technicians) – I could only find someone as reputed as Dr. Bhatti who performs 80% of the procedures that includes Hair trimming (to feel your hair ), Anesthesia, FUE Extractions with motorized punch and Incisions. In Turkey where I was almost sold at one point, all operations are run by Technicians. Not a Plastic surgeon, no educational background/ competency level ( it's scary as they're known as the butchers of HT industry) I wish Dr. Bhatti would implant the grafts too ( not his nurses) for extra cost but I guess it will be a tedious job for a busy surgeon to sit for another 4 hours or so ....... Am I asking for too much 4. World class facility matching North American standards : with Heart rate monitoring, proper blood tests, blood pressure check up, spotless , Face coverings during entire operation and sterile environment. 5. Super microscopes and Magnifiers is a must ( Most Turkish clinics operate with naked eyes, when I asked they tried to sell me bull *&**** ) This is extremely important during all 4 phases of operation : Extraction – To make sure proper gaps are left in between grafts in the donor area and get the right angle before using the punch. Sorting – To count how many pure singles, doubles, triples and quads ( if any ) are collected. Incisions – To ensure least collateral damage, magnifier will show 6 x scalp surface so during incisions, holes are made at the right angle, depth and only on bald scalp areas ( not where you've some fine hairs). This should also minimize some shock loss in the post op phase. Implantation - Imperative to only use pure singles / baby soft hairs in the very first few rows of hairline and Temples. If by mistake, they implant doubles – it will give a pluggy look and I would rate that transplant as 50% failed right then and there. If during implant, nurses grab a multi - haired graft, at least microscopes will allow them to revisit to find a pure single graft and then insert it in the right spot. Joe Tillman's video is quite helpful : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MeQ4ZvEHb7Y 6. Doctor should have a solid reputation on major forums, hair restoration network, should be well read, traveled, have some global exposure, recommended by Bald-truth, Spex and many other HT mentors like Joe Tillman. Dr. Bhatti checks all those boxes. Yes – there are some mixed opinions about him (and every other Top HT surgeon out there) but perfection is impossible to achieve; so I decided to just look at the bigger picture and go for it. 7. Detailed info, pre op care, post op care, regular contacts and supporting your patients in their hours of greatest needs is of utmost importance. Its well know that Dr. Bhatti, Shera ( his rep) , California would contact their ex. Patients regarding some concerns, would stand by them and not disappear. This was impressive. 8. Patient advisor should be genuine, honest and straightforward – So far, Shera has been awesome, friendly and taking care of all my minor/ major concerns. Always reachable, quick responses and a real time patient who has experienced the same Doctor few years ago first hand. In the long run, it helps to have a contact like him for small chats if need be. I will continue to share my Journey with Darling buds and also, highlight If any red flags are there. So far, I’m just one naive internet researcher in this field who talks based on theories and hypothetical situations, I don’t have any practical experiences yet. Assuming I've made a good decision by choosing this clinic (over others) and trying to keep a positive mindset hoping I will be in good hands is the only thing I can do now. One Sr. Member said it wisely – “For Dr. Bhatti and his staff ( or other clinics) 18th March will be just another day with another patient like thousands came before and will come after, but for a patient who’s been researching on this constantly day/night, it’s a big life event and 18th is one of the most important day of his life after which either he could regain his lost confidence or could loose it forever “ After all, handing off your head to someone for the entire day isn’t one easy decision I’ve seen members here supporting each other against doctors if results aren’t satisfactory. That speaks volumes and the main reason as to why I joined here to gain support from my so called “Anonymous hair restoration family” Dr. Bhatti's hairlines were talked about – not too dense? Any suggestions? Should I revisit this with him ? I don't want a sparse hairline but Not sure if this was an old issue (one -off) Also, I’ve not met Dr Bhatti for any F2F consulting yet or a video consultation, plan is to meet him a day before my procedure. So far, Shera is my driving force. I’m hoping for a life changing experience (like many others), regain my lost confidence and I always say “ Hope “ is something that brings us to these Doctor’s doorsteps. Yes finance and reviews are important aspects but we all hope to be treated in the best possible way during our special treatment day. A little daunting for me to fly all the way, get operated in a surgical room, holes in my head but I’m collecting all the courage in this world to get this done. Shera is helping like one true Samaritan If some of you are able to read this completely, my apologies for such a long note but this is the only forum where I am able to write everything anonymously and vent out if need be. My Journey to be continued……………………………………………………………………………………............................................
  2. Hi everyone! as mentioned on my previous post I went ahead and had my surgery with dr suneet soni in January 17th 2020 in Jaipur India. I received around 4000 grafts from FUT and FUE combo method and around 500 I believe grafts from underneath my Beard. I wanted to ask you all if my transplant looks good and what you guys think my density will be like. My donor wasn’t exactly the strongest but dr soni said he initially aimed to cover half my head but was able to cover the entire head back to the crown area. I just thought I’d come on here and get everyone’s opinions on how my hairline looks and how the graft coverage looks. I also want to know if my closure done by the trichopytic technique looks good or not. I am currently on day 8 of my transplant and have posted pictures from day 1 which was the next day right after head wash and day 6 as well as a beard picture right after washing it.the closure picture is from yesterday which was day 7. I am currently still having slight pain near the sides of the closure but overall it was a good experience outside of having to get IV before my trip back due to vommiting issues because of the medications prescribed. it’s started itching which means it’s healing nicely I assume! Let me know what you all think!
  3. Hi All, Thanks for the opportunity to post here. I am a 39 yr old male. started losing hair since I was around 30 and had pretty much reached the stage indicated in the pictures by around 35. I intermittently used Rogaine (not very regular) so could not really gauge if it would have helped me or not but wanted to indicate that I did use it. At this stage, I am pretty much looking at Hair transplant as the key option to move forward. I am based in the US but wanted to explore hair transplant options in India. i would appreciate any tips to a beginner like me and apologize if I am asking any redundant questions. I did some basic research and am reading up on the various techniques that are used in this domain ... FUT, FUE, FUSE etc. Will go through the forum as well I established initial contact with the HT docs in India (mainly going by the docs on the IAHRS list - all of whom seem very well regarded on this forum as well). Below is a summary of what I have received and would appreciate feedback from the senior members here. 1) Norwood 6/7 2) Would require 2 sessions. 3) For 1st sessions focus on frontal scalp and hairline - all indicated similar number of 3500-4000 grafts (mix of scalp/donor and beard) 4) For 2nd session - feedback was varied. 1 clinic indicated meds (finasteride 1 mg daily) would suffice or go for 2nd session of 2000 grafts. Rest of feedback varied from anywhere from 2500-4000 grafts in second session. Am not sure how to evaluate this feedback. 5) based on some posts I have read here, the density/placement of the transplant is also important...am still getting familiar with the technicality of this aspect. 6) Is FUSE another new technique other than FUE? Any guidance on what this entails? 7) In general does the transplant technique really depend on the candidate or is there a common currently recommended technique in the HT world? 😎 I am scheduling online/video appts with the clinics and would appreciate some guidance on what type of questions to ask? Honestly am a little overwhelmed by the information on this form and online and cannot make out what information online is paid-advertisement and what is genuine recommendation. Would truly appreciate any feedback you can provide. 9) Any feedback or recos in general for Medlinks/Dr.Gaurang Krishna, Eugenix (Dr bansal/Dr Sethi), Dr Poswal, Darling Buds/Dr.Tej Bhatti, Medispa (Dr Suneet Soni) Thanks so much for this forum!
  4. A 36 years old patient, suffering from genetic baldness. NW class : IV Baldness. Technique Used : FUT Method Total Number of Grafts Implanted : 3900 We are hereby presenting the results of a patient after the 13 month.
  5. Hello Fellow Members, I intend this to be the first post of my HT journey in 2020. My sincere thanks to this community and every person online who has shared knowledge, perspectives, opinions, results, etc. This has equipped me to make an informed decision. I know at least 14 relations and friends who have expressed sincere desire to get a HT, but remain at the periphery due to fear of high assumed costs, side effects, etc. resulting from lack of research and not personally knowing anyone who underwent the procedure. This documentation of my experience will be a first hand example to motivate them and other new people on this forum (assuming all goes well). As such, this is my contribution to equip future patients with information and confidence. About me - Male; 29.5 years old; Indian immigrant currently studying in Canada. Why HT? - While I have never visited a doctor for a proper diagnosis, I assume I am suffering from Androgenic alopecia inherited from my mother's side. I have been experiencing hair loss since 17-18 years of age. Finally I am at that stage where the hair loss has become very evident and troubling when I look in the mirror or at my photos, and I would like to do something about it sooner rather than later. I am not interested in non-surgical restoration methods like wigs/hairpieces, etc., but open to medication. Why India? - I really wish I could get it done here in Canada for convenience. I first visited Dr. Rahal for a consultation. He is local to me. I have no doubts in his ability, but his services will cost me about 3-4 times of what I will pay in India for the services of a highly skilled doctor. For an affordable HT, I chose India over Turkey to avoid language barriers and for the comfort of homeland. Also, most IAHRS members and other globally recognized surgeons are more affordable in India than Turkey (except Dr. Resul Yaman and Dr. Ekrem Civas I think). FUE or FUT? - Last year I got super excited and emailed Dr. Suneet Soni (Medispa) that I was interested in getting FUT done from him and he gave me a quote for 3500 FUT grafts. Unfortunately, my limited financial resources were urgently required somewhere else and I had to delay. I let Medispa know that I was going to delay. This gave me more time to think and research. I read about FUE with Dr. Bhatti (Darling Buds) and DHT with Eugenix Clinic, and saw many cases of scar stretching from FUT. Finally I decided that I did not want to take that risk regardless of which closure/stitching technique is used, and also I wanted a quicker and less painful healing. So I am interested in FUE or DHT only. Who in India? I am nearing the end of the process of identifying potential options, and until now I have shortlisted the following surgeons. My photos are posted at the end of text. a. Dr. Tejinder Bhatti of Darling Buds. He suggested 2800-3000 FUE grafts and answered all my questions satisfactorily and seems very professional. I thought his consultant Shera would contact me when I first emailed, but I believe I have been chatting with the Dr. directly. The fact that he doesn't perform FUT at all and his entire practice is based around aggressively promoting FUE, along with the fantastic FAQ on his website promotes confidence in his skills as a trustworthy FUE surgeon. He is a member of pretty much all prestigious global associations and was also featured in some publication's 'Top 20 global surgeons for HT' ranking. His website has transparent pricing. Cons: I came across some posts on this forum where the results were far from satisfactory and the post-operation response and support those patients received from the clinic seemed disappointing for a clinic of such high reputation. b. Eugenix (will probably select the comprehensive pkg. which has partial involvement of Dr. Bansal and Dr. Sethi). I was in touch with their consultant Nelson a couple of months ago and he offered a Skype session with a doctor (don't know which doctor). I postponed it due to personal reasons, but have resumed the conversation. Regardless, Nelson had mentioned that the doctor suggested 2000 grafts through DHT. I don't know which doctor since there are 5 at the clinic, and was a little surprised by the qty. of suggested grafts, but will bring up this question in the Skype session. Also, it would be good to know what percent (approx.) of total slits are done by Dr. Bansal or Dr. Sethi in comprehensive pkg. I chose Eugenix because Dr. Bansal and Dr. Sethi are highly reputed surgeons, inventors, authors of books and publications, and members of prestigious societies. They are also listed on Joe Tillman's recommended surgeons list. Their website has transparent pricing. Cons: I can't afford full services of Dr. Sethi or Dr. Bansal and will have to place my trust in the young doctors trained by them for majority of the procedure. c. Dr. Suneet Soni of Medispa He suggested 3500 FUT grafts (because I started a conversation advocating FUT). I have read that Dr. Soni is the best for FUT, but not necessarily FUE. All his successful results are also FUT + FUE. I emailed him recently (after many months) with new photos and requesting quote for FUE. He has not responded since a week. Not sure if he is still interested. Regardless, I chose him for his results, excellent website (though no transparent pricing), prestigious memberships, and artistic reputation. My recent photos are attached. Please share your opinions, ideas, insight, suggestions regarding my surgeon choices above and the photos below. I will be very grateful for your time and help. Tagging some fellow members who also posted similar questions recently and seemed undecided on their search. @Alphabeta @Dalveer @skallig @givemehair2019
  6. A 37 years old patient, suffering from genetic baldness. NW class : VII Baldness. Technique Used : Combination Method FUT + FUE Total Number of Grafts Implanted : 4300 We are hereby presenting the results of the patient after the 12 month.
  7. A 36 years old patient, suffering from genetic baldness. NW class : IV Baldness. Technique Used : Combine FUT + FUE Method Total Number of Grafts Implanted : 4070 We are hereby presenting the results of the patient after the 12 month.
  8. A 33 years old patient, suffering from genetic baldness. NW class : III-IV Baldness. Technique Used : FUT Method Total Number of Grafts Implanted : 3500 We are hereby presenting the results of the patient after the 13 month.
  9. Dr. Bhatti answered all of my questions (though in one word or one liners), but I wasn't expecting much more from email consultation. When I sent my new photos after haircut to him, he assessed them and increased the grafts from 2500 to range of 2800-3000. He has a discounted price in the summer months of April to June which in my opinion is unbeatable in India for a surgeon of his caliber. Personally, I don't judge the doctor if 2-3 bad cases pop up. What I will judge is how the doctor handled the case that went bad. Was he understanding and cooperative? Did he offer a free repair or refund? How did he communicate and how seriously did he take it? When you chose a HT technique, you as a patient also assume a certain risk. If you want to go the FUT route, there is no better value for money than Dr. Soni I would think.
  10. I am not aware of Eugenix's new pricing. They told me their estimate by end of December and asked me to book before end of December. I have made a google sheet comparing prices. I could share it with you over PM. AKClinics was cheaper than Eugenix, but I wasn't really impressed with the results. Sure, Dr. Dua is a big name, but if you need to get it done with him the price is quite high. I had a one hour call with Dr. Dua. He is a very nice person and talked about the transplant facts. He was very patient and willing to answer all my questions. I got to talk to Dr. Soni over voice call, and it was a bit rushed. There are different answers from different doctors. Most doctors have asked me to stop Finasteride 10-15 days before HT, and strictly no other medicines 1 month prior to HT.
  11. Thank you @skallig for your response. I completely agree with you. Why not show the photos of the scars an how thin they are over time by actually focusing on them in addition to the combing video. That scar is the biggest thing standing between prospective patients and FUT, so why not clear it out if its no big deal. Its probably because the combing video is good enough for most patients who are desperate for hair. It's almost magical the first time you see those videos. Please tell me this - after Eugenix revised their pricing last night, how does AKClinics compare in cost? I have not approached them yet and was not intending to, but Dr. Dua is indeed a big name in the industry. I checked their website, but there are no prices. It seems like Eugenix is the way to go. Regarding Medispa, Dr. Soni indeed appears to be on a vacation or very busy. He hasn't responded to my recent messages either (he did initially respond in early 2019). I am not taking any medicines except occasional vitamins. I read on Darling Buds FAQ to not use any medicines before HT or at least stop them 4 months before HT if you are already taking. Dr. Arika Bansal also confirmed this. I use a derma roller followed by coconut oil twice a week. Leave it overnight and wash in morning using a sulfate and paraben free shampoo. I eat nutritious food (nuts, greens, fruits, etc.), exercise daily, and perform sirsasana and halasana yoga everyday for 5 min. Also I drink lots of water and meditate twice a day.
  12. I never really got a proper response from Darling Buds. There's one thing about their "suceessfull cases". Every doctor will have good results and bad results. I was so convinced with Dr. Suneet, but then I found a really unfortunate rsults by @thappa. Do share your feedback on your experience with Darling Buds @Indian_Canadian
  13. Hello guys! Just like many of you in this platform, I am also here to seek help regarding hair transplant recommendations. I have been balding for few years now. I started loosing frontal hair first, and my forehead increased. My hair at the crown and front would not grown longer compared to hair at sides and back. Some pictures I found from few years ago that shows my balding crown. My baldness is hereditary from dad's side. I will attach some pictures of progressive balding, and some changes in the past few months due to medicines. To give you an intro, I am from India and currently working in Malaysia. I have been contemplating a hair transplant, but the surgery, medicine (the effects or side effects) stopped me from proceeding. I have equally gone worrying about progressive baldness after a transplant, which might end up looking weirder in later years. In the past few months I have tried some medications. I went to a famous skincare doctor in Malaysia - Dr. Ranjit. "Ranjit Skin Specialist Laser & Hair Clinic". He gave me two medicines, and I could admit it showed some improvement, but I started getting a bit worried about his medicines because he never really tell me what the actual medicine is. He only gave a slip that mentioned the ingredients. I have no idea why a doctor have to be secretive about medications. Out of my fear of the unknown medicines, I decided to consult some other doctor who would prescribe me a known medicine, which I can read about online, and understand better about it's side effects, or even the cost for the matter. I spoke with few clinics in Malaysia - Glojas, Inder Kaur, Nathan's Skin and Laser to name a few. I proceeded with Nathan's clinic because Dr. Ruban sounded friendly and he called me on phone to talk about my hair loss once he saw my photos. However when I met him in person he seemed to be too busy and impatient to talk to me properly. Anyhow, that being said right now I am on medications from him (since September 2019): Dutasteride 0.5mg twice a week Minoxidil 2.5mg every day Minoxidil 15% topical You can see my progress after taking medicines from Dr. Ranjit and Dr. Ruban over the past few months. I think at this point I want to go for a hair transplant, after I see the medicines taking effect on my crown. Perhaps a transplant + post transplant medicines could be more effective. I don't see many good hair transplant results from clinics in Malaysia, compared to India. So I was considering to do it from India and I did speak with few clinics: Eugenix MedLinks Medispa Dr. Madhu's Hair Hospital & Research DHT Clinic Thai Hair Clinic Everyone has different price and quote, obviously but most of them told me I need to do within a range of 4000 - 4500 grafts in a single or double sitting surgery. I am almost deciding on Dr. Suneet Soni from Medispa, and the quote from his clinic seems reasonable. I quite liked some of his results on YouTube, though I am a bit skeptical about FUT marks on the head. They call it a "trichopatic" closure or something, but to be honest all clinics have some kind of fancy name for their "technology" of surgery. While I was deciding on Dr. Suneet, I came across Dr. Suradej Pong from THTC. Now that he is in Thailand, and nearer to Malaysia, I may want to consider him as well. I was actually impressed to see that he mentions to keep hair longer to cover the grafts donor and recipient area after the operation. It will be really helpful if someone could suggest me some places near to Malaysia, within Malaysia or around here, or even maybe in Turkey, Korea or so. I would like to look for few more options before deciding. Right now I only have few Indian clinics in my mind. I think I could look for an option nearby in Malaysia. Anyways, that's pretty much about it. I hope someone can help me with some suggestions for my baldness. Thanks guys, in advance. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ UPDATES: 14 Dec 2019: Spoke to Dr. Suneet Soni on phone, and he said that he 4000 or slightly higher grafts can be transplanted (and could consider beard hair too, if required). I asked few doubts I had regarding the scar, progressive hairloss, medications. Dr. Suneet was very polite and kind, and answered to all my questions. If there are surgery scars visible, options in the future are: small amount of FUE transplant, or SMP.
  14. A 34 years old patient, suffering from genetic baldness. NW class : III Baldness. Technique Used : FUT Method Total Number of Grafts Implanted : 2400 We are hereby presenting the results of the patient after the 12 month.
  15. This result is mindblowing @Dr. Suneet Soni & @Medispa Team!! I am more thrilled to see the results because I have decided to get a transplant for 4000+ grafts on a single session FUE+FUT by next year.. Keeping my fingers crossed 🤞 How about the patient's medications and PRP sessions. Would you like to share about that @Medispa Team. How many PRP sessions and what kind of medicines he took post transplant?
  16. I’d considered doing something about my genetic baldness for years. But the truth is I felt awkward discussing something that personal with someone else… I didn’t want them thinking I was too vain or pre-occupied with my hair. Talking over the phone with Dr. Suneet Soni broke the barrier. He immediately appealed to me as a friendly, honest kind of person who understands how people feel about their appearance. He confirmed me about the aesthetic result and prepared me for the surgical procedure. Initially, I had many doubts and confusion, but all went off after receiving the pre-procedure consultation at Medispa. Before visiting Dr. Suneet Soni, a few others had turned my way, saying that essentially my situation was hopeless. I remember leaving their clinics with a great feeling of dread and sadness at the prospect of living with a hat on my head for the rest of my years. From the moment I met Dr. Suneet Soni he gave me a feeling of great hope though I remained somewhat skeptical. He explained to me to need to be self-restraint as the FUT technique of hair restoration would be a 5 steps process to do it. I appreciated his reluctance to not do it all at once, get his money, and move on… though I wanted it fixed for the very next day! Glad to say that I received 4120 FUT grafts in a single session for the grade NW-V baldness. Finally, Dr. Suneet was the first transplant surgeon I ever met who did not discuss his fee as his first order of service. He was very gracious with the cost of hair transplant and allowed a modest cost of the procedure. Bottom line is that I genuinely felt and still feel that he wants to help me and understands my situation. He is down to earth, friendly and best of all… accessible. His entire staff has been and continues to be absolutely wonderful in accommodating me and I also feel they care about the end result for me. Thank You, Dr Suneet Soni and the entire Medispa team.
  17. Hello @dasankur, good to read about your successful hair transplant. I am also contemplating HT from Dr. Suneet. I was wondering if you have documented your hairloss, results after the surgery so that I can feel more convinced. I am already convinced from the clinic's portfolio, but still looking for personal uploads more. Thank you in advance
  18. Hello @jjsrader I'm researching a bit about results by Dr. Suneet from Medispa, and you had replied to a previous post I wrote (thank you for that). I just read that you did a transplant from Medispa. Have you documented your hairloss, hair transplant and hair growth progress here on the forum that I can refer to? Also, I am trying to read more about the strip stretching. Since you mentioned about your stretching I am curious if you would like to share a picture so that I can see. It's up to you and I respect your privacy if you don't want to share. Thanks in advance.
  19. Simple. If FUE go to Eugenix. If FUT or FUT + FUE go to Medispa. For a 1st surgery both of these clinics use the most advanced equipment w/very qualified surgeons & are very reasonably priced. Both get consistent high-quality yields and very little transection. Both use microscopes to refine & check the quality and to prepare the grafts for implantation. You'd get the most bang for the buck at either. Although Eugenix probably dense packs the very frontal hairline a bit more than Dr. Soni for a 1st surgery. FUT 1st surgery usually leaves a very thin scar 'cause it's a virgin scalp - statistically speaking. Although any FUT surgery has a chance of a scar stretching due to individual genetics. Good luck. You should probably up your Dutasteride to 6X's per week or one per day - you'll only be getting the BEST effects of it this way vs 2X's per week. I would also drop the 5% minox and exclusively use the 15% minox - it is also much more effective than 15%. Some compounding pharmacies even make 30% minox cream - but make sure they test their 'batches' for potency and legitimacy. Stay on those medicines - they will give your weaker hairs a better chance of surviving the stress of a hair restoration procedure and improves the overall quality of all of your donor hair. I think you are an excellent candidate for a 4K graft procedure. Good donor hair it looks like.
  20. I want to contribute in helping fellow hair loss sufferers who are seeking for a competent hair transplant surgeon in India. Hence, I wish to share my experience of hair transplant with Dr Suneet Soni, at Medispa Jaipur. After an extensive search of 5 months I underwent hair transplant with Dr Suneet about 13 months back. I am posting my review quite late as I wanted to be sure myself before helping others as half knowledge delivery is worse than no knowledge delivery. But yes, now I am confident and sure about my results of hair transplant which is wonderful. Being a lecturer, your presentation matters a lot as this professions demands lot of public dealing and social presence. A lecturer needs to be confident which was lacking in me due to hair loss at a young age of 35 years. Hiding the baldness under the cap was also not suitable as per my profession. Hence, I was left with nothing rather than following remedies suggested by colleagues and friends. After referring a dermatologist I was been prescribed an over the counter lotion “Minoxidil” which temporarily had reduced the progression of hair loss but as I stopped using it the situation was same and wasn’t a permanent solution. After opinions from doctors I came to know about hair transplant procedure which was suggested as the only permanent solution for hair loss. I was quite skeptical about these cosmetic surgeries as they are a big taboo in our society making people and celebrities hiding about them. But thanks to our generation which is more receptive and acceptable towards these procedures and consider medical aspect of these procedures knows the importance of looks in social and professional life. Thinking a lot and after positive reviews of hair transplant procedure by my colleagues I made initial moves towards this procedure. As it is one of the hugest decisions of my life I didn’t want to take a chance and wanted to be sure before opting for any surgeon. After talking to many colleagues and friends whose relatives underwent the same procedure I got the reference of Dr Suneet Soni. I saw some of the hair transplant results delivered by Dr Soni of my known people and was quite impressed as the hairline looked absolutely natural. Aesthetics was my biggest concern as it was the requirement of my profession including my personal choice and Dr Soni seemed to be an expert in that. Soon after encouragement by my colleagues I started gaining information about this procedure and found it to be a safe procedure which is been opted nowadays at a greater rate. Hence, I made my decision to undergo this procedure. I wanted a cost effective option but didn’t want to prioritize cost over aesthetics which made me choose Dr Suneet Soni for my hair transplant after reviewing the results of multiple clinics seeing their photo gallery. To consult him, I booked an appointment online and visited the clinic with high hopes and expectations. During the consultation I was been asked many medical history related questions followed by assessment of scalp under magnification. Dr Soni informed me that the hair loss I am facing is genetic and is called androgenic alopecia. He suggested me requirement of 2700 approx. grafts approximately and preferred the FUT technique. I was been explained about the whole procedure in detail and benefit of using this technique which seemed genuine to me. I was been assured by him that the procedure will be painless and with no complications which had boost my confidence and desire to get hairs on my bald area. Finally after pooling all my thoughts into one place, they directed me to happily accept the decision of hair transplant. I was been appointed for a day prior to the surgery for some medical tests including some blood tests and ECG which was important for my safety. I visited one day prior and got my tests done and was been recommended a shampoo to be used before the procedure which I followed as per instructions. The day of surgery came and I was been appointed for 7 A.M in the morning but as I am quite punctual I had reached at 6:45 A.M. after having my breakfast. The staff was quite welcoming and generous which was comforting. From reception to OT I couldn’t find a flaw in terms of cleanliness and hygiene which can impress anyone as hygiene is very important consideration while getting any medical treatment. It boosted my confidence even more that I am going under the knife of safe hands. Talking about the procedure, it underwent very smoothly and was painless as anaesthesia was injected using a special technique which requires only single administration for the whole procedure so as to avoid multiple injections. After that I was been offered sterilized clothes and taken to operation theatre for the commencement of hair transplant procedure. The procedure started with strip technique or FUT was performed. This procedure was extremely comfortable and was painless. I was been shown in the mirror the donor area where stitches were in place. Believe me I couldn’t notice it much and it was completely hiding behind my hairs. After harvesting of graft, Dr Soni took me to graft separation room where my hair follicles were been segregated under visual aided microscope for better visualization and less damage to the grafts. The technicians also seemed very experienced and efficient as were quite fluent with their work. After separation of the grafts, I was taken to operation theatre again for implantation of grafts in the recipient area. Implantation went successfully without any pain. The complete procedure lasted for around 8-9 hours and had lunch break in the afternoon. In total, my experience with the whole team was amazing as they were quite caring and professional in their work. After the procedure I was been advised about few do’s and don’ts to be taken care of and was been given a cap and a headband to avoid dirt and reduce swelling respectively. I was been called next day for head wash by them and was been instructed again regarding what to do and what not to do thoroughly. I carefully followed all the instruction which were not much and have to be taken care of for around 15 days. I resumed my work from the next day itself but had minor swelling and discomfort which was expected and manageable. After few days my transplanted hair shed off which was already been explained. After a wait of months I received fruitful results when I could see my hair growing. Months passed and it became better and now after 13 months my hair in the bald area is gaining volume and the results are clearly visible. There are no words to explain my happiness as the results are very natural and look awesome. I have got many compliments and it feels amazing to have hairs on your bald area. I can share the credit with Dr Soni as I was the one who found this diamond from the quarry of coals. I would surely recommend him to anyone as I found him to be the best hair transplant surgeon in India presently.
  21. Hi everyone!! I am an Indian and currently living in Canada. Well actually it’s my first post here but I have read a lot of posts as I was quite curious about hair transplant. I have scheduled my surgery with Dr. Suneet Soni of Medispa Hair transplant center in Jaipur, India. It is going to happen next week. I am quite excited as I have read a lot of positive reviews about him. I will be leaving for India by flight in few days. I will keep you guyz updated. Bye!!
  22. Hi @S Kumar, How was your HT experience at Medispa with Dr. Suneet ? Can you please post your before and after pics here? Thanks.
  23. Dr. Soni is a very highly skilled surgeon w/well over 2,000 surgeries. He uses the most modern techniques for FUT. Very consistent results (bang for buck). ANY surgeon will have outlier cases where the patient had a bad outcome. H&W & other top 20 clinics 'round the world as well. Medispa puts out alot of video documentation of Dr. Soni's work as well. If it's your 1st strip surgery - the chances of a very good outcome for a megasession w/Medispa is extremely high. I had my 6th FUT (my 1st five were 100/120/400/700/2250 grafts) w/him in 03/16 for 4,500 FUT & 500 FUE I was a NW5 and now have full coverage and the strip he took out (new strip) has stretched a bit as well. I plan on a final FUT to cut out two sections to get 1-2K of grafts out of the worst scar(s) & then will fill in a bit w/FUE some selected spots as well. Perhaps some SMP - not sure. I wear my hair long so it's not a big issue normally. Probably go to Dr. Wong to do that at H&W. I had a consultation w/H&W rep in 02/18 and w/scalp exercises they said I might be able to get a final 2K of grafts w/the FUT scar revision. Frankly, I'm thrilled I was able to do one last big FUT surgery w/nearly 100% graft survival. I'm sure if I was to have Medispa address the stretched scar Dr. Soni would work w/me on that - although another trip to India is a long ways to go when your just getting adjustments and not a mega session.
  24. @filthiestfish if you are looking for Combo FUT + FUE then there is another doctor whom I have been following from few months and results are very good. Check @Dr. Suneet Soni from Medispa clinic in India.
