  1. 3582 GRAFTS I WOULD LIKE TO SHARE MY EXPERIENCE AND RESULTS OF MY OWN HAIR TRANSPLANTATION JOURNEY, TO HELP ANY OF YOU WHO WOULD LIKE TO GAIN SOME KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING OF WHAT IS INVOLVED , AS YOU MAY BE CONSIDERING GOING ON THE SAME JOURNEY . ABOUT MYSELF : IM FROM IRELAND IN MY 50 s CLASSIFIED NORWOOD 6. I HAVE BEEN LOSING MY HAIR GRADUALLY FOR 15 YEARS, HOWEVER IT BECAME VERY NOTICABLE TO ME 6 YEARS AGO. I DONT TAKE ANY MEDICATION FOR HAIR LOSS. RESEARCH : I HAVE BEEN RESEARCHING FOR THE LAST 6 YEARS TO GAIN AS MUCH UNDERSTANDING AND KNOWLEDGE AS POSSIBLE ON HAIR TRANSPLANTATION. I HAVE BEEN ON THIS FORUM FOR OVER 5 YEARS AND I HAVE GAINED LOTS OF INFORMATION FROM ITS MEMBERS ESPECIALLY THOSE MEMBERS THAT HAVE HAD A HAIR TRANSPLANTATION THEMSELVES . I HAVE CHECKED OUT YOU TUBE TO SEE DIFFERENT CLINICS AND DOCTORS AND PATIENT RESULTS. I VISITED CLINICS HERE IN IRELAND, CONTACTED CLINICS IN AMERICA AND CANADA , AND ALSO EUROPE. I SPOKE TO PAST PATIENTS AND FUTURE PATIENTS , I ALSO TRAVELLED OVER TO LONDON FROM IRELAND A FEW TIMES TO MEET SOME TOP DOCTORS . WHY EUGENIX : DURING MY RESEARCH I SAW PATIENT RESULTS AND TESTIMONIALS ON YOU TUBE ABOUT EUGENIX WHICH WERE REALLY IMPRESSIVE. I ALSO SAW MANY VIDEOS OF THE 2 FOUNDING DOCTORS DR.PRADEEP SETHI AND DR. ARIKA BANSAL. DR. PRADEEP AND DR.ARIKA EXPLAINED MANY DIFFERENT AREAS ON THE SUBJECT OF HAIR TRANSPLANTATION WHICH WAS REALLY INFORMATIVE. SOME TIME LATER DR.PRADEEP AND DR.ARIKA WERE RECOMMENDED ON THIS FORUM WHERE THEIR PATIENTS SHOWED SOME OUTSTANDING RESULTS, NOT JUST FROM SCALP DONER BUT ALSO FROM BEARD DONER ALSO. OTHER PATIENTS THAT HAVE GONE TO EUGENIX HAD POSTED IMPRESSIVE RESULTS ALSO. SO ALL OF THIS WAS GREAT PROOF THAT THESE 2 DOCTORS ARE HIGHLY SKILLED AND FURTHERMORE HAVE INVENTED THE DHT TECHNIQUE , DIRECT HAIR TRANSPLANTATION , AS THEIR IS SIMULTANEOUSLY EXTRACTIONS AND IMPLANTATION OF THE GRAFTS WHICH GREATLY REDUCEDS THE OUT OF BODY TIME MY GRAFTS WOULD BE SUBJECTED TO , MAYBE AT TIMES GRAFTS MIGHT BE OUT OF THE BODY FOR 20 MINUTES OR SO ALSO WHICH IS NOT VERY LONG.THE DOCTORS ALSO WROTE AN EXCELLENT BOOK ..STEP BY STEP HAIR TRANSPLANTATION. ALONG WITH THIS EUGENIX HAVE BUILT SOME STATE OF THE ART CLINICS WITH THE VERY BEST OF EQUIPMENT INCLUDING EXCEPTIONALLY HIGH MAGNIFICATION LENSES WHICH ARE REALLY IMPORTANT. ALL OF THE ABOVE ALONG WITH 2 DOCTORS WITH THE HIGHEST OF CREDENTIALS IN THIS FIELD, ALONG WITH MARVELOUS PATIENT RESULTS PROMPED ME TO REALLY CONSIDER DR.PRADEEP AND DR.ARIKA @ EUGENIX AND AT THE TIME BOTH DOCTORS WERE PLANNING TO COME TO THE UK FOR A CONFERENCE ON HAIR RESTORATION , SO I ARRANGED TO GO TO LONDON TO MEET THEM BOTH . I FOUND DR.PRADEEP AND DR.ARIKA TO BE REALLY NICE GENUINE PEOPLE WHO HAD A GREAT PASSION FOR WHAT THEY DONE , AND THEY ARE ONLY FOCUSSED ON HAIR TRANSPLANTATION , I BELIEVE THEY ARE TRUE LEADERS IN THIS FIELD. WITH ALL OF THE ABOVE IN MIND AND LOTS MORE I BELIEVE AND PUT MY TRUST IN DR. PRADEEP SETHI AND DR.ARIKA BANSAL AND SUPPORTING DOCTORS AND TEAM @Eugenix Hair Science AS THIS IS MY BEST CHANCE OF A SUCCESSFUL HAIR TRANSPLANTATION. JOURNEY TO INDIA : I CAUGHT A FLIGHT FROM IRELAND TO LONDON ( INSTEAD OF GOING DIRECT FROM IRELAND )AND THEN FLY WITH AIR INDIA FROM HEATHROW DIRECT TO DELHI . WHEN I LANDED AT THE AIRPORT EUGENIX REPRESENTATIVE ABHINAY AND THE DRIVER JALDHAR WERE THERE TO GREET ME AND TAKE ME TO EUGENIX CLINIC. ABHINAY ASKS ME ABOUT HAVING DINNER WHICH I APPRECIATE BUT I HAD PLENTY OF FOOD ON THE FLIGHT. DR.PRADEEP RINGS TO WELCOME ME TO INDIA WHICH WAS A NICE TOUCH ALSO. NELSON RINGS TO ENSURE ALL IS OK AND SLSO ASKS ME ABOUT DINNER WHICH WAS NICE. I ARRIVE AT EUGENIX CLINIC AROUND 12 MIDNIGHT AND A REALLY NICE ROOM IS WAITING FOR ME WITH COFFEE AND BISCUITS PROVIDED, VEEY NICE SITTING AREA IN THE BEDROOM WITH A LARGE ENSUITE . I HAVE A GOOD NIGHTS SLEEP. D DAY: I GET UP AND HAVE A SHOWER AND BRECKFAST IS DELIVERED TO THE ROOM BY THE VERY NICE STAFF WHO ENSURE IF THERE IS ANYTHING YOU NEED IT IS NOT A PROBLEM. I MEET DR.ARIKA AND DR.PRADEEP DOWNSTAIRS WHO INTRODUCE ME TO DR. SHISHIR. DR. PRADEEP THEN INTRODUCES ME TO ALL THE TEAM WHO IS INVOLVED IN MY SURGERY AND EXPLAINS WHAT EACH MEMBER OF THE TEAM DOES , AND HOW LONG THEY WORK WITH EUGENIX, ALL A VERY LONG TIME , SOME 10 YEARS. I THEN GO THROUGH SOME HEALTH DOCUMENTATION WITH DR.SHISHIR , MOSTLY A QUESTIONNAIRE ABOUT MY OWN HEALTH . BLOOD PRESSURE IS TAKEN. I HAVE A CONVERSATION WITH DR.PRADEEP AND DR.ARIKA ABOUT MY HT REGARDING DONER CAPACITY AND COVERAGE . BLOOD SAMPLES ARE TAKEN ALSO TO BE USED FOR PRP DURING SURGERY. TIME TO CHANGE MY CLOTHES INTO SOMETHING MORE SUITABLE FOR THE PROCEDURE. THEN ITS INTO THE PHOTOGRAPHY ROOM WHERE ALL ANGLES OF MY HEAD ARE PHOTOGRAPHED AND HAIR IS COMED THIS WAY AND THAT WAY BY DR. PRADEEP , LOOKING AND CHECKING THE WAY MY HAIR FALLS AND DIRECTION . NEXT ITS THE HAIRLINE DESIGN WHERE DR.PRADEEP MAKES SUGGESTIONS AND DRAWS THE LINE , THEN WE TWEEK IT A LITTLE BIT . NEXT ITS TIME FOR A FREE HAIRCUT . AROUND THIS TIME IM GIVIN SOME MEDICATION IN THE FORM AS A ORAL SEDATIVE ,ORAL PAIN KILLER AND ORAL ANTIBIOTIC AND PROBIOTIC. THEN IT IS INTO THE THEATRE ( OF DREAMS ) WHERE ALL THE TEAM HAS EVERYTHING READY , INCLUDING A FINE BIG TV AND MUSIC PLAYING. THE SURGERY ROOM IS REALLY CLEAN, AND ITS ONLY THE TEAM AND MYSELF ALLOWED TO BE IN THERE TO PREVENT ANY RISK OF CONTAMINATION. DR SHISHIR EXPLAINS THAT HE IS GOING TO GIVE ME THE ANAESTHETIC . I CAN FEEL THIS VIBRATION SENSATION ON MY HEAD AND THE ANAESTHESIA BEING GIVEN TO MY SCALP AT THE SAME TIME. ITS NOT VERY PAINFUL AS THE VIBRATION SENSATION CLEVERLY TRICKS THE BRAIN INTO NOT THINKING OR FEELING THE PINCHES OF THE NEEDLES. DR.PRADEEP MAKES A LITTLE MORE THAN 3000 SLITS ON MY RECIPENT AT VARIOUS DIRECTIONS AND WHICH I DONT FEEL PAINFUL WHATSOEVER. DR.ARIKA STARTS THE EXTRACTIONS OF MY DONER ON THE SIDE OF MY HEAD , I DONT FEEL PAIN AND IM COMFORTABLE. ALL THE TECHNICANS ARE WORKING LIKE CLOCKWORK AND EVERYBODY KNOWS THEIR JOB. FROM TIME TO TIME I HEAR THE COUNT OF 100 GRAFTS EXTRACTED AND WRITTEN ON THE BOARD . THE MUSIC IS ON IN THE BACKGROUND AND IM COMFORTABLE, AND AS THE MORNING PROGRESSES I HEAR ..100 .....100 AND SO ON. SINGLE GRAFTS ARE PLACED ONLY ON THE HAIRLINE. GRAFTS ARE PLACED SIMULTANEOUSLY TO ENSURE OUT OF BODY TIME IS REDUCED AND WHERE IT DOSENT HAPPEN GRAFTS ARE OUT OF BODY FOR THE MINIMUM TIME POSSIBLE . LUNCH BREAK AND SOME REALLY NICE FOOD AND COFFEE PROVIDED IN A NICE ROOM JUST OFF THE SURGERY ROOM. BACK ON THE TABLE AGAIN AND MORE EXTRACTIONS WITH A MOTORISED PUNCH OF O.9 MM BY DR.ARIKA. WHEN WE FINISHED SURGERY FOR THE DAY 1960 GRAFTS FROM THE SCALP WERE EXTRACTED AND IMPLANTED INTO THE FRONT RECIPENT AREA. I WAS GIVEN MORE MEDICATION AS A PRECAUTION IN THE FORM OF ORAL ANTIBIOTICS AND PAIN KILLER AND PROBIOTIC TO BE TAKEN WITH MEALS IN THE EVENING AND BRECKFAST NEXT MORNING. SPRAY SALINE EVERY 2 HOURS ON THE RECIPENT , WHEN YOU GO TO BED YOU DONT HAVE TO DO IT. IM FEELING GOOD THAT DAY 1 IS OUT OF THE WAY AND HAVE A SHOWER , BUT NO WATER ON THE HEAD OF COURSE. DR. PRADEEP VERY KINDLY TAKES ANOTHER PATIENT AND MYSELF OUT TO DINNER FOR THE EVENING TO A REALLY NICE RESTAURANT. A LOOSE CAP OR SIMILAR IS WORN WHEN OUTDOORS TO PREVENT THE RISK OF INFECTION. I ARRIVE BACK AT THE CLINIC , HAVE A GOOD NIGHTS SLEEP, EVEN THOUGH INSTRUCTED TO SLEEP ON MY BACK SO TO NOT DAMAGE THE NEWLY IMPLANTED GRAFTS ON THE FRONT. DAY 2 : HAVE BRECKFAST DELIVERED TO THE ROOM WHICH CONSISTED OF SCRAMBLED EGG AND TOAST AND COFFEE. ARRIVED DOWNSTAIRS AND MET THE DOCTORS AND TECHNICIANS. I HAD A DISCUSSION WITH DR.PRADEEP AND DR.ARIKA AND WE DECIDED TO PLAN FOR SCALP AND BEARD GRAFTS. THE BEARD GRAFTS WOULD BE EXTRACTED AND IMPLANTED INTO MY MID SCALP ALONG WITH MIXING THE BEARD GRAFTS WITH SCALP GRAFTS IN THE AREA. THIS WOULD HELP TO GIVE MORE DENSITY AS BEARD GRAFTS ARE GOOD FOR DENSITY, ALSO I WOULD BE HOLDING ONTO MORE OF MY SCALP DONER GRAFTS WHEN REQUIRED FOR THE CROWN WHICH I PLAN TO DO ON ANOTHER VISIT. BACK ON THE TABLE AND DR. SHISHIR GIVES THE ANAESTHETIC AND DR.ARIKA CARRIES OUT THE EXTRACTIONS OF MY SCALP GRAFTS . TV IS PLAYING WITH MUSIC AND ALL IS GOOD. NO PAIN , NOW AND AGAIN I DID FEEL A PINCH HERE AND THERE AND THE DOCTOR WILL STRAIGHT AWAY GIVE YOU MORE ANAESTHETIC . LUNCH BREAK. LOVELY LUNCH PROVIDED AGAIN TODAY, ARRANGED BY NELSON WHO ASKED ME EARLIER WHAT I WANTED. YOU CAN HAVE A CHOICE OF ANYTHING YOU WISH , WHICH I HAD A SELECTION OF A LOT OF FOOD, I COULDN'T FINISH. AFTER LUNCH IT WAS TIME TO DO THE BEARD GRAFTS . DR.ARIKA MADE SOME MORE SLITS TOWARDS THE BACK TO ACCOMADATE MORE SCALP AND BEARD GRAFTS WHICH AND THIS POINT WE KNEW WOULD BE MORE THAN 3000 SLITS THAT DR PRADEEP HAD DONE YESTERDAY. ANAESTHETIC WAS GIVEN UNDER THE CHIN BY DR.SHISHIR . FELT A LITTLE PINCH BUT NOTHING OUT OF THE WAY. EXTRACTIONS WE CARRIED OUT BY DR. ARIKA USING A 0.7MM MOTORISED PUNCH. ALL WENT VERY WELL. AT THE END OF TODAY : SCALP DONER 926 GRAFTS . BEARD GRAFTS 696 . = 1622 GRAFTS TODAY + 1960 GRAFTS YESTERDAY GRAND TOTAL = 3582 GRAFTS. DR. PRADEEP LOOKS OVER THINGS TO ENSURE ALL IS OK, AS HE DID THROUGHOUT THE PREVIOUS DAY ALSO. DR. ARIKA AND DR.SHISHIR AND ALL THE TECHNICANS HAS VAST EXPERIENCE AND REALLY WORKED GREAT AS A WHOLE TEAM SO ALL IS GOOD . IM TAKEN INTO THE PHOTOGRAPHY ROOM FOR MORE PHOTOGRAPHS TAKEN BY DR. PRADEEP WITH AN ASSISTANT . IM VERY HAPPY THAT ALL IS OVER. I WAS GIVEN MEDICATION TO TAKE WITH DINNER AND AFTER BRECKFAST ON THE MORNING. DR. PRADEEP VERY GENEROUSLY GIVES HIS TIME AND TAKES NE OUT TO DINNER TO A RESTAURANT FOR A DELICIOUS MEAL WHICH IM STILL THINKING ABOUT, AND WILL VISIT AGAIN WHEN IM BACK TO DO MY CROWN. TAKE THE MEDICATION ,I HAVE A GREAT NIGHTS SLEEP. DAY 3 : BRECKFAST DELIVERED TO THE ROOM AGAIN. TAKE THE MEDICATION RECOMMENDED. I GO DOWNSTAIRS AND I MEET DR.ARIKA AND DR.SHISHIR AND DR.PRADEEP AND ENSURE ALL IS OK. ONE OF THE TECHNICANS PUTS BEATALINE SCRUB AND OINTMENT ON MY DONER AS PART OF THE DAILY REGIMENT FOR THE NEXT 7 DAYS. MEDICATION FOR 7 DAYS: 1 ANTIBIOTIC 3 TIMES DAILY , 1 PAIN KILLER 3 TIMES DAILY . 1 PROBIOTIC . BEATALINE SCRUB ON THE DONER IN THE MORNING. ANTISEPTIC OINTMENT TWICE DAILY. SPRAY SALINE SPRAY EVERY 2 HOURS. MASSAGE THE FOREHEAD REGULARY TO PREVENT SWELLING . THERE IS ONE OTHER TABLET TO TAKE DAILY HOWEVER I CANT REMEMBER WHAT IT IS THIS MOMENT IN TIME. I WAS GIVEN SALINE SPRAY AND A BACK UP OF A SMALL BOTTLE OF SPRAYTO TAKE ON THE PLANE , WITH A LETTER FROM EUGENIX EXPLAINING THAT I HAD A HAIR TRANSPLANTATION AND WHY I NEEDED IT. THERE WAS NO ISSUE AT ANY AIRPORT. DR.PRADEEP SHOWS ME AROUND MORE OF THE CLINIC DOWN STAIRS WHEREVRECEPTION AND OFFICES AND BATHROOMS ARE AND ONE HAS TO BE IMPRESSED HOW CLEAN AN MODERN THE CLINIC IS. ITS TIME TO GO TO THE AIRPORT FOR HOME , I SAY GOODBYE TO EVERYONE AND WILL BE BACK AGAIN. ABHINAY ACCOMPANIES THE DRIVER JALDHAR AND WE HAVE A GREAT CHAT FOR OUR 25 MINUTE OR SO TRIP TO THE AIRPORT. I CATCH A FLIGHT FROM DELHI TO LONDON . AFTERCARE BY EUGENIX . WHEN I ARRIVED IN LONDON, AND GOT TO MY HOTEL DR. PRADEEP RINGS ME TO ASK HOW WAS EVERTHING WHICH WAS A REALLY NICE TOUCH. ALL IS WELL. HE REMINDS ME TO MASSAGE MY FOREHEAD TO HELP PREVENT SWELLING AND TO CONTINUE SPRAYING SALINE ON MY RECIPENT. EVERY DAY DR.PRADEEP OR A MEMBER OF STAFF HAS BEEN IN TOUCH THROUGH WHATTS APP VIDEO CALL OR MESSAGES TO ENSURE ALL IS OK . I HAVE TAKEN PICTURES OF MY SCALP AND SENT THEM FOR DR.PRADEEP TO LOOK AT. I MUST ADMIT THE AFTERCARE IS EXCELLENT AS DR.PRADEEP AND EUGENIX REALLY CARES ABOUT YOUR WELLBEING . THEY SEND VIDEOS OF HEAD WASH AFTER 7 DAYS AND WHAT TO EXPECT LEADING UP TO THIS TIME , BUT ALL IS VERY STRAIGHTFORWARD , IM FEELING GOOD WITH NO PAIN WHATSOEVER. MY EXPERIENCE WITH DR.PRADEEP AND DR .ARIKA , ALSO DR.SHISHIR AND ALL THE TEAM OF TECHNICIANS , ABHINAY AND NELSON AND ALL THE STAFF WHO PLAYED A ROLE BEFORE MY ARRIVAL, DURING, FOR BREAKFAST AND LUNCH AND COFFEES AND DINNER AND ALL THE TEAM WHO ALL SHOWED EXVEPTIONAL WARMTH , FRIENDLINESS AND CARE WITH AMAZING HOSPITALITY WHICH I WILL NEVER FORGET AND WILL BE FOREVER GRATEFUL..THANK YOU SINCERELY. THANKS TO YOU TO HRN AND ITS LEADERS , WHO ARE DOING A MARVELOUS JOB AND ARE VERY DEDICATED TO MAKING THIS FORUM A GREAT BENIFIT TO EVERYBODY . THIS IS THE BEST FORUM IN THE WORLD . ITS MEMBERS ALSO PLAY A GREAT ROLE SO WITHOUT YOU I WOULDN'T BE HERE , SO I THANK YOU VERY MUCH. .............ALL THE BEST......... .................PADDY.................
  2. @LookingForTheBest2020 Sorry to hear of your situation, especially after having 3 Hair Transplant it must be very disappointing. If you decided to remove the thick hair from the areas that are highlighted , you might consider using that hair to be implanted again elsewhere on your scalp. Then if you were to touch up around this area where the thick looking hairs were removed from, you could replace them with soft single hairs. These single hairs could be extracted from just up over your ears, and from the nape of your neck. This would give a soft natural undectable looking hairline. As you had 3 HT s already, and your doner is very limited, you might consider using your beard grafts to disguise your FUT scar. I had my HT with Dr.Pradeep Sethi and Dr.Arika Bansal at EUGENIX. I know that they carry out repair HTs, and are very good with dealing with patients with limited Doner. Both Doctors are highly skilled and would be well qualified to really improve your hairline, and other areas of improvement you may require. I hope all works out. Paddy
  3. Hello @yeeaah . Losing your hair can be a traumatic experience alright . Now you want to do something to resolve your issue . You have said the right things " super experienced surgeon , willing to travel to other countries " that's a really important part of your decision making. You also need your temples reconstructed, so only a super experienced Surgeon can do this , as your new look will be what you have for the rest of your life. Your choice of a top Doctor is critical for ensuring you have a really natural look. I can relate to how you think as I was in the same situation myself. I had to factor in wanting an super experienced Surgeon , and willing to travel. I spent a lot of time researching, had flights for face to face consultations with top doctors, looked at lots of results ,spoke to past patients also. I travelled from Ireland and had my HT with Dr.Pradeep Sethi and Dr.Arika Bansal at EUGENIX India. As I had my own personal experience with them,, I can recommend that you have them on your potential list of top Surgeons to look into. In my opinion the cost of a HT should not be a major factor of your decision making, although everybody has a budget. Eugenix prices are very competitive to any of the top surgeons around the globe at $2 or so a graft . That is really affordable. Both Doctors have the highest of creditionals ,are recommended on this forum, and have shown excellent results here also. Even their own employees have shown their results on this forum. You can see my own results to date, and ideas to help your research, when you visit .......' Results posted by patients..'. Then.... ' Experience of an Irishman after 6 years researching. ' I wish you all the best. Paddy.
  4. Hello @Walter I commend you on doing your detailed research , as it will greatly benifit you making your decision. As we know one has to be extremely careful in their research , especially regarding Turkey. There are so many black market FUE clinics causing so much harm and pain, both physically and mentally to patients. I spent 6 years researching where the best doctors and clinics were in the world for my own Hair Transplantation. I studied and had consultations with a number of clinics . When I studied Eugenix in India and compared them to others around the globe I was really impressed with everything about them. Hence I decided to have my HT with Dr.Pradeep Sethi and Dr. Arika Bansal at EUGENIX. Results by Eugenix shown here on the forum are outstanding. The two founding doctors Dr.Pradeep Sethi and Dr.Arika Bansal are highly skilled with excellent doner preservation while at the same time creating optimum density with a great artistic design and very natural hairlines. At this early stage of my HT journey I am extremely satisfied with the current result. Dr. Sethi and Dr. Bansal invented the DHT method, Direct Hair Transplantation. This is the most advance technique of Hair Transplantation, where grafts are extracted and simultaneously implanted at the same time. This method ensures that grafts out of body time are kept to a minimum which in turn allows a lot more grafts to survive .This technique has been proven to deliver outstanding results for so many patients. You can see all these results for yourself on this forum , YouTube, and also on the Eugenix website. In my opinion the cost of a HT should not be one of the main initial considerations where possible when conducting your research. Although I understand everyone has a budget. Eugenix prices are really competitive for the quality delivered , compared to others that are showing inferior results in my opinion. Dr.Pradeep Sethi and Dr.Arika Bansal are very highly regarded in the HT industry, while being active members of several HT organisations around the globe. Dr.Arika published many papers , and both doctors co wrote the book Step by Step Hair Transplantation. This book has proven to be a great learning tool for so many doctors in the HT industry. Both doctors have been asked and have given lots of talks and discussion on the subject of Hair Transplantation to educate other doctors on their skill and knowledge. As we have seen on this forum , and elsewhere, they are experts in dealing with extreme cases of baldness . The very well know Hair Transplant mentor Joe Tillman regards Dr.Sethi and Dr.Bansal very highly, and has accepted them into his highly recommended clinics for Hair Transplantation. Joe Tillmans criteria for acceptance is very strict. Only the best of the best doctors are accepted. Joe has his own reputation to look after, and he turns far more clinics away than he accepts. For example just some of Joes strict criteria are , doctors must be showing exceptional results and doing it consistency . Doctors must be showing very natural temples, and hairlines with great density. Crown work has to be exceptional. Many doctors cant ,or wont do crown work as it such an art. Another strict criteria of Joes is doctors must be experts in carrying out repair work. As a member of this informative forum , where I gained so much knowledge, and now with the experience as being a patient myself, I would highly recommend Dr.Pradeep Sethi and Dr.Arika Bansal at EUGENIX India. Just a final thought, " Doing it right costs less than doing it over again " For your information I have attached Joe Tillmans video, hope it helps. ........................Paddy....................
  5. Direct Hair Transplantation... an innovation... the new... the technique of today... Stemming forth from Eugenix Hair Sciences, India Evolution at its core, the human mind conjures new steps towards scientific perfection with this technique. Every bit of a patient's technique, Direct Hair Transplantation focuses on one thing and one thing only - results! Published in 2013 by the Doctor duo - Dr. Pradeep Sethi and Dr. Arika Bansal, this technique had given to the world the gift of higher graft survivability. Enhancing the already available FUE technique, DHT provides an alternate plan to keep the grafts out of your body for the least amount of time. The steps are reversed and the slits are made first taking care of the design, angles, and density. The extraction and implantation are done simultaneously. The procedure starts with the administration of the anesthesia given under the influence of vibrating machines and insulin syringes to ensure the least discomfort to the patient. Then the recipient area is prepared by making the slits that shall receive the donor grafts. The patient could watch a movie, listen to songs or complete his official assignments. Yes, this surgery is that simple! The first step is the preparation of the slits... carefully made by the Doctors taking care of the artistry required for this tremendous responsibility. The second step includes the simultaneous extraction from the donor area and implantation into the recipient area ensuring the least "out of body time" for the grafts. There are different positions in which the extraction and implantation are performed. Since the Direct Hair Transplantation requires the grafts to be extracted and implanted simultaneously, these different positions help in the extraction and implantation of different regions with ease. The whole team - Doctors and the technicians must work together towards the same goal. The magnification used is 8X to 10X which helps with the accuracy for the identification of the empty areas as well as the extraction process. Very sophisticated punches are used for scoring the grafts like the Cole punch and the Trumpet punch. The scored grafts are collected using the appropriate forceps under magnification. Then the grafts are loaded into the dull needle implanters to avoid any manhandling to the mother tissue or the roots. The grafts are then unloaded from the dull needle implanters into the pre-made sites. The use of the implanters also makes this technique the "no root touch" technique. The new and improved technique offers to the world a new promise of near 100% graft survivability and happiness guaranteed. Direct Hair Transplantation is not just a technique. It has become a religion...
  6. I would keep your options open and consider other countries. You might be better looking at making a list of top doctors and working from there. I'm not on medication myself. I had a HT myself @Eugenix Hair Science Dr.Pradeep Sethi and Dr. Arika Bansal , who I would highly recommend to look into. Paddy
  7. Hi all, I am a 29 years old male based in Malaysia, and have been researching for quite a while now. I found the posts here to be super helpful and informative, so thanks a lot everyone for sharing your experience! Initially I was only considering India (Eugenix vs Dr Bhatti), due to proximity from Malaysia. However, with the recent price increase with Eugenix, I am opening up my search into Turkey as well. I was wondering if there is anyone out there who has compared these Indian and Turkish IAHRS doctors? If so, I would really love to hear your opinions! India - Dr Arika Bansal + Dr Pradeep Sethi from Eugenix - Dr Tejinder Bhatti from darling buds in India Turkey - Dr. Ekrem Civas from Civas clinic - Dr. Hakan Doganay from AHD - Dr Koray Erdogan from ASMED Cost is of course a factor for me (e.g., with the most expensive package at 210 Rs with Eugenix, it's almost 2x the price quoted to me from Dr. Bhatti, and flying to turkey will cost more for me), but I would rather spend a bit more money for assurance of good results. If you have not compared the doctors between countries, would love to hear your 2 cents if you've looked any of the doctors as well. Really appreciate your help, and I wish everyone a full head of hair till they're 80 years old
  8. Hello @skolvikings Dr. Pradeep Sethi of @Eugenix Hair Science will be in L.A. between 7th and 9th of March for consultations as per his recently announced schedule for the States. .....Paddy...

He is an active member of various National and International organisations like ISHRS (USA). He conceived & implemented the idea of Direct Hair Transplantation (DHT) along with Dr Arika Bansal. His extensive research in the field of hair transplantation and use of the latest technology has helped him achieve great milestones in the field. He recently published a book with Dr Arika Bansal on hair transplant for both doctors and patients named as “Step by Step Hair Transplantation”. You can afford a cheap hair transplant surgery! Reserve an appointment by emailing info@eugenix.in or WhatsApp: +91-8826471111 to contact the Eugenix Hair Sciences patient care staff.
  10. Dear members, Thank you for showing your interest in a rendezvous with Dr. Pradeep Sethi in the UK. Now it is only 3 days to go and if you would like to have the appointment with him then please do reach out to us and we shall fix the same.
  11. @Eugenix Hair Science Dr. Pradeep Sethi was on the committee that helped book him for negligence, it’s good that there are still good surgeons out there that can help book these negligent physicians.
  12. @Portugal25 Eugenix are not making false claims about anything ! They are showing very positive results of patients on this forum. Patients are posting positive results on this forum, I had a HT recently myself with @Eugenix Hair Science and awaiting a result, along with others. If anyone reads my thread and other threads etc they will see what patients really care about and that is results. This is the most important thing. Eugenix are recommended on this forum as @Melvin-Moderator will agree and also thousands more. Nobody has an issue. Joe Tillman recommends Eugenix on his very strict criteria of recommended clinics. Dr. Pradeep Sethi and Dr.Arika Bansal and supporting Doctors and team are highly respected and regarded by their fellow members. If you have a concern about Eugenix or any clinics way of carrying out their business why don't you ask them directly ? As per your previous posts you seem to be very interested in DHT, DHT Stick in place and implanter pens etc etc. ? ...............Paddy.........
  13. Hello everyone! So I have been reading a lot of material on this forum. I have definitely received a tremendous amount of information from here. It has helped me a lot during my immediate post transplant phase. I believe that my own experience with hair transplantation could help others who are seeking the same too. Therefore, I have decided to post the entire documented journey of my transplantation procedure here on this amazing forum. Here it goes: I started to lose hair by the age of 23. The loss was very gradual and it was difficult for me to have noticed the decline in my density. Eventually, when the hairline stared to recede drastically and my look started to change for the worse, I started to panic. I never knew anything about hair. I was scared that it might be a disease or some form of disorder. But even that was not enough to compel me to visit a doctor and understand the situation. I started with different home remedies and self imagined cures in the forms of advertised shampoos or oils. However, the hair loss did not stop. I started to notice more and more hair come off every time I combed my hair or even if I wet it. The worst part was that I was losing all confidence because of my hair situation. I started using hair products and other styling products to help hide my baldness. But as most of you might know, that doesn't really work. However, to come to the point of all of the above, it was only after I met Dr. Arika Bansal and Dr. Pradeep Sethi that they actually told me the honest truth about hair loss intervention. They made me understand the why and the how. And also what should be done to address the issue. For the already bald area, it was too late. But for my pre existing hair, I was recommended Finastride at a dosage of 0.5 to 1 mg. I swear by this medication because i have 0 hair loss since I have started taking that medication. For the bald area, the doctors gave me a transplantation of 2815 grafts. I knew about hair transplantation prior to this too. But I was not sure whether i would be able to go through with it. I was definitely scared of the pain. I couldn't quite bring myself to go for the procedure. However, the procedure was painless, contrary to my belief. It was simple. But it was lengthy (oh well!). And you gotta do what you gotta do. So now through the pictures, I shall show you the progress of my results.
  14. Thanks @skallig. I had my procedure FUE. Yes I had 3582 grafts. I can still take another 2500 grafts approx from the scalp. I can take another 2000 grafts from the beard. I didnt want to go FUT as I saw to many large scars during my research. Once you are cut, there is no going back. I also saw some good scars also, but personally it never appealed to me for a HT. I decided to skip the scar and tap into my doner from the beard . Every mans head of hair is unique, so thats the road I felt was best for myself in my situation. Yes speak to many surgeons and get all the advice, and the best long term plan. It depends on your expections, and at the end of the day its all about supply and demand. Yes Joe Tillman had 10 HTs. Thats because he had some poor ones, and had many repair HTs as such. Now he is telling the world how to avoid the same pitfalls that he fell into. He is a great inspiration to the HT industry. He is helping guys everyday just like you and me. He only recommends Doctors and Clinics who meets his strict criteria. Those Doctors that meet his criteria have to show many many examples of ;Great natural hairlines, Crown work , and repair cases. Lots of clinics or Doctors wont touch the crown, as its so difficult. Then there is the beard grafts also . The doctors that Jo recommends are the top doctors who are highly skilled, and think outside the box. Those are the ones that are evolving with science and using the best magnification equipment etc etc. Jo Tillman has the highest of strict criteria , he has his reputation to keep in tact. @Eugenix Hair Science are recommended on his network. That was another big reason for me to make my choice to have my HT with Dr. Pradeep Sethi and Dr.Arika Bansal. ............... Paddy.......
  15. @Looking4HTInshallah I recently made the long trip to India for my HT. I went to @Eugenix Hair Science Dr Pradeep Sethi and Dr.Arika Bansal. They are recommended on this forum and been showing outstanding consistently results. Did you put Eugenix on your shortlist as you were looking at India ? ............Paddy........
  16. @karatekid DHT is Direct Hair Transplantation . Grafts are out of the body for minimum amount of time, and in most cases Extracted and implanted simultaneously. Dr.Pradeep Sethi and Dr. Arika Bansal invented their own technigue @Eugenix Hair Science I got my HT with @Eugenix Hair Science in India. ..........P.addy ........
  17. The index patient has seen an amazing transformation. He is unrecognizable now. He might have to show his id card to his parents to prove that he is in fact the same person. • Grade of baldness on the Norwood Hamilton Scale: VI • Age: 47 • Total number of grafts used: 6000 • Scalp donor grafts: 4700 • Beard donor grafts: 1300 • Donor quality: Good • Hair calibre: Good • He opted for the Exclusive package with Dr. Pradeep Sethi. And he still has almost 7 months more to see increase in his growth. With abated breaths, we all await to see how wonderfully beautiful the end result will be.
  18. Hi All, My names is Josh and a BIG THANK you to all those who contribute to this forum and host it. I greatly appreciate this and wish to thank you personally! I am very excited to inform you that I have decided to go with Eugenix in India for my HT surgery. I'm 52 years old, although my hair loss began around 25 and I think I'm now a NW6. I believe that my hair loss/balding has been stable for more than 6 years or so. I've never taken any hair loss medication of any kind ever and not planning to take any in the future as well. I have been trimming my hair to zero for more than 8 years or so. The pictures in my profile are very recent. (Link to my Profile pictures) My HT Objectives: Reconstruction of an age appropriate (high and receded) hairline and temples with dense and natural look. Coverage of frontal scalp, mid-scalp with moderate coverage of crown. Ability to keep buzz-cut hairstyle after HT. Background: I consulted with Dr. Arika Bansal (mostly) and Dr. Pradeep Sethi over WhatsApp with help from their business rep (Nelson) in June. They were patient in listening to my needs and going over various options. After a series communication lasted over multiple days, Dr. Arika Bansal provided the following assessments and suggestions: (Please note I have summarized the following from multiple chat sessions and there may be gaps since I have yet to be sent to Eugenix for their confirmation) Hair-loss Condition: Grade 6 baldness with good donor supply Estimated HT grafts: Combined total of 3800/4500 grafts Procedure: 2-day DHT procedure Two options were discussed with conservative hairline approach OPTION1: (with 2000 scalp extraction and 2000 from Beard) Cover more area and the crown left would be much lesser. OPTION2: (with 1500 scalp extraction and 2500 from Beard) Limit extraction from scalp to avoid visible donor thinning allowing buzz-cut. Procedure: Scalp grafts are for the mainstay of hairline and temple restoration and provide much denser look than beard grafts. Beard grafts to be used for mid-scalp and crown. Temporal hump hair will not be extracted as they may undergo loss in future 4 to 5 years. If you want to keep the option of buzz cut in future, then there will be a zone of donor thinning that would be evident. This donor thinning is inevitable (hence the option2 was suggested and to be discussed further). Beard donor scarring is minimal, to the extent that it is not visible to the naked eyes. However, there will be microscopic scarring. It would be a two-day procedure since it would be difficult to cover this fully in 1 day. Suggested Donor Areas: Scalp 1500/2000 grafts Beard 2000/2500 grafts Chest Up to 500 grafts (to be discussed further) Suggested Recipient Areas Temporal points: 200 x 2 = 400 Hairline: 400 Frontal Scalp Behind Hairline: 400 Mid-scalp: 1500 (option to use only 1000 for medium density) Crown: 1500/2000 (to be discussed and finalized) As you can imagine, I am overwhelmed as much as excited by my decision and would need your help and validation (and a final push ) before I reach out to Eugenix to schedule the surgery date. Thank you -Josh
  19. Hi There is no point to hearing this or that. Doctors are well experienced and doing well with there results as well. Its naturally who ever done his hair transplant with Dr. Bhatti they got only experience for him. And wherever done with Eugenix they will give feedback on Eugenix. Its not a big deal. It's not a Issue for who does what. They run there own clinic and they know there Pacific job as well. We can't judge them on any story. Both are got so many results on YouTube and this thread. Any one can judge that easily. And of day you deside where to go. I have done my research Dr. Bhatti told me in my case 2800 grafts And Dr. Sethi told me about 4000 grafts. And he did even more without extra cost. And you may see the results. Even after 18 month Dr. Pradeep is like brother to me. They keep in touch with me. And even staff. So i called for Eugenix. There is no Issue with any other clinic from my side. Even there is so many patient ask me on my private inbox and they done with Eugenix. And they also happy as i am. And might be i go for my wife as well at Eugenix. And that as well will share with you on this thread for sure. So good luck and best of luck.
  20. The index patient was 39 years old. His details are: Hairline augmentation required Grafts done: 2500 Donor site: scalp donor Donor quality: Good Hair calibre: Good Package opted for: Exclusive package with Dr. Pradeep Sethi Extraction done by: Dr. Priyadarshini Das Below are his results after 5 months.
  21. Hello everyone, So I got like this really and unbelievably thick growth after like 2 and 1/2 years of my transplant. Pictures clicked by none other than dear Dr. Pradeep Sethi... even his photography skills are beyond this world. And then came the blunder where I decided to colour my hair or just highlight the curls but the hair dresser ruined it by bleaching my hair at least 6 times. Nothing happened to the growth or density but I lost my natural curls and blonde hair didn't really look good on me. So I got a haircut and then sank in my sorrows of losing the hair and the curls I loved so much... sob sob... But every cloud has a silver lining and I think this new hairstyle is clean and cool. So all is well that ends well. Surprisingly even when I cut my hair in the donor really small, there were no spacing visible. I am truely grateful to God for giving me a good donor and good doctors. Look at me all swollen up in sorrow. Next procedure for me will be facial liposuction, a nose job and blepharoplasty for my eyebags...
  22. Congratulations buddy. Finally you did with Eugenix. I do following you from long time on this forum. And I am happy to know that you did right choice Now ready for your new looks. 23. At Eugenix, we believe in disseminating medical knowledge to the younger generation. In this pursuit, we have started our University Collaborative Fellowship of one year, where we provide comprehensive training of the art and science of hair transplantation to qualified dermatologists. Dr. Sri lekha Sarvepalli is the first student selected by DY Patil University, who is currently doing a one-year fellowship under the mentorship of Dr Pradeep Sethi (Honorary Professor Dermatology – Hair Transplantation).
  24. It's no surprise that we get most people who are profoundly aesthetically aware – celebrities, politicians, entrepreneurs and others in the public eye. They know that when it comes to perfection, Eugenix is the place to go to for hair transplantation. In a first of it’s kind, we are bringing forth these series of self-help tutorials wherein Dr Pradeep Sethi himself will be educating the hair transplant seekers regarding what should be and what shouldn’t! Here at Eugenix, we are drenched into the Psychology of hair transplant. We eat, sleep and breathe just that. And hence we are unable to afford performing any other kinds of cosmetic/dermatology procedures. Perfection does not just happen… it has to be made. Since hair transplant is more of an aesthetic entity, art is in it’s core. The hair transplant surgeon and the team performing along have to be masters in it. Like we believe here at Eugenix - “God is the greatest designer and artist”, we try to imitate the facial aesthetics that the creator might have given to the individuals who place their trust in us. ‘Natural’, ‘wow’, ‘can’t believe that it’s transplanted!’ and ‘beautiful’ are some words that are usually used to describe our results by others. The hairline, crown, temples and the donor areas – their augmentation and preservation; it is a phenomenon in itself. Eugenix Hair Sciences believes in giving the best possible to every case. We understand the core of your hair and customise every design to enhance your look. More than 80% of our past patients reveal that nobody could make out that they have got a hair procedure done. And more than 90% of our patients are being referred by our old patients. In the series that we present to you, you shall continuously witness Dr. Pradeep Sethi/Dr. Arika Bansal themselves give you the details regarding the what, why and hows of hair transplantation. The video above is of the hairline and how important it is for the final look. As they say “the hairline is the gateway to the face”, Dr. Pradeep Sethi shall explain to you how much of an artistic aptitude is necessary for it’s designing. You shall get to know everything that you might have wondered about in the video above. It is going to be quite a ride as we bring forward all of our beliefs and knowledge to you. And we hope that this little effort of ours helps us give back to the society and individuals going through the trauma of hair loss. We are going to come up with more videos and provide details about a different aspect of hair transplant including temple recreation, frontotemporal angles, donor aesthetics and futuristic approach to manage hair loss. Watch out this space for more. As is our motto “Do it once but do it right!”
