Hi all, I wanted to post a review of my very recent (I'm post op 2 days as of posting date) of my recent FUE experience. I'm turning 40 late this year (2017). Always had a higher forehead and gradual maturation of hairline. In general, this never bothered my until the last few years when I started to develop a "W" shape recession (think Nick Cave) - meaning that the forelock region was getting increasing thinner. Receding hairlines never really bothered me, as I would grow my hair slightly longer in the front to mask. But the thinning forelock was really bothering me. After using

Dr. Bisanga, Dr. Feriduni, Dr. Devroye and Dr. Lupunzula are all in the Belgium area. I am assuming you're specifically looking for strip? -

Dr Konior price. Should I do it?
rocketmas replied to Cap88's topic in Hair Restoration Questions and Answers
Just a quick update on my situation - Dr Konior has reverted to me. His quote is 12$ per graft. On the higher side, but the wait is making it unworkable. May 2020 is the date he is offering now. Have a good conversation going with Dr Feriduni. He has recommended 200-2500 grafts. FUE cost a bit over 5 Euro per graft. Dates available in July, August, September so quite workable. Waiting for a reply from Dr. Bisanga, Hattingen and Dr Feritas. Dr Freitas takes 2-3 months to give a treatment plan and quote. I guess I will decide between the above Doctors. From the results I ha -
Dr Wong is the most impressive in my opinion however when it comes to strip only. Feriduni in my opinion is more professional in FUE and a very caring sweet person. I was planning to do my FUE session with him however I changed my mind and decided to do it with Dr. Bhatti as he is more convenient to me. So bottom line if you are considering FUE strictly then I could recommend Feriduni.

Top 5 hair transplant surgeons.

@TrixGlendevon I not only added them to my list but sent an email around a week ago. Haven't heard back from them. How is their communication? Response from docs in Europe is generally slow compared to say Dr. K., who responds himself within a day. Question on Hattingen - Are they very good for hairline, frontal head, and temple points work or would you say more for coverage of large areas ? How would you rate them compared to Dr Feriduni? Thanks, S -
HI, I am considering Ht. I got a reply back from Dr. Nadimi recommending 1500 grafts when most others ( including Feriduni) have recommended around 2600-3000 grafts. I tend to believe that Dr. Nadimi has a different philosophy and recommends patients do HT incrementally. And she does have a very conservative approach which may suit some may not suit others. I an NW 3, and would prefer to get the full treatment done in one go, and maximise the result as I have plenty of donor hairs rather than use a conservative approach. In the current case, my personal opinion is 3000 + grafts

All great inputs from knowledgeable folks. I am currently evaluating doctors for my HT which I plan later in the year. I am considering Feriduni, Hattingen, Freitas (long wait ), Lorenzo (No reply!) and Dr. Konior. I am a NW 3A with thinning in the frontal area. Require hairline design and work, temples, and frontal head. I am looking at somewhere between 3000 - 3500 grafts. Would like to be a bit aggressive. Youthful hairlines are always more appealing to me. I am willing to travel to get the best result. I am 55 and expect this to be my last HT. Have had one before with Dr Ron Sha -

You'll be completely bald by the time you get an appointment. Who's results impress you the most? Forget about distance and forget about money. The bottom line is the results. If you like Dr. Wong's results the best choose him. If you like Dr.Feriduni's results the best choose him. Personally, I'm really impressed with Dr. Reddy in the UK. I would probably add him to the list if I were you.

Dr Konior price. Should I do it?
rocketmas replied to Cap88's topic in Hair Restoration Questions and Answers
Trix, Thanks for the reply. BTW - not trying to hijack any thread. The discussion was around doctors and techniques. I agree with you on the wait time with Spanish doctors. I have not received any reply from Dr. Couto, and his wait times is going to make him unviable. Dr Freitas replied and his wait time his till summer 2020. He recommended going on a wait list, but I really don't want to remain unplanned. I am in an online consultation with Dr Feriduni> how long are his wait times ? I also have not been able to get in touch with Dr Lorenzo. Does he have a website and how is -
Dr Konior price. Should I do it?
TrixGlendevon replied to Cap88's topic in Hair Restoration Questions and Answers
First of all, you should probably create your own thread. It is unfair to hijack other people's threads. Secondly, you haven't said whether you have a preference for FUE or FUT or no preference at all? The doctors you have mentioned are FUE so I am guessing that this is your preference. The waiting list for the Spanish doctos is huge - if you want to go with them, you will not be doing it this summer or possibly even summer 2020. I am not kidding either. It took over 6 months for them (can't remember which one) just to get back to my email to tell me there was a three year waiting list. Maybe -
Dr Konior price. Should I do it?
rocketmas replied to Cap88's topic in Hair Restoration Questions and Answers
Hi, I am trying to decide on a doctor in Europe. I am NW3, need hairline and frontal head work - approximately 3000 grafts. I have written to Dr. Couto clinic but did not get a reply back. I guess they are too busy. I am going to try Freitas, and Lorenzo. Also having trouble connecting with Dr. Lorenzo. Dr Feriduni is also on the list. Guys - whose would you recommend for natural hairline work and dense packing ? Will be getting the procedure this summer sometime. Thanks, -
Okay I will take some pictures soon. I have Toppik in at the current moment. I would love to but I can't risk it with the med I am on now. If I stop taking this med then I may possibly get on Fin but I honestly doubt that. I used Minoxidil for 4 years in the past but didn't really see much of a benefit. It may stopped a lot of quick loss in the crown but I still had hair falling out so I stopped in 2015. Yes, I will probably not do anything for at least 4 more months. Then I will start ramping up my research to see which Dr I should go with. Maybe Diep again or Erdogan, Bis

Either of those surgeons would work, Dr. Konoir charges $10 a graft for FUE so you’re looking at 50k in total cost. That’s a steep price for most, but worth it if you can afford it. I would consult with as many doctors as possible, don’t be afraid to venture outside of the states. Dr. Bisanga, Lupunzula, Feriduni, Reddy are some impressive FUE surgeons as well in Europe.
