Advice for Hair Loss Sufferers Considering Hair Transplant Surgery

My Story

  1. I did some research after Dr. Erdogan and Asmed clinic fuc..d up my hair transplant... (My story: For me: 1. Dr. Couto, Madrid, Spain (insane waiting list + he doesn´t take new patients now) 2. Dr. Konior, Chicago, USA (too far for me) 3. Dr. Lorenzo, Madrid, Spain (disaster hairline design) 4. Hasson&Wong, Vancouver, Canada (too far from me) 5. Dr. Kesser, Ankara, Turkey (denied my HT according previous HT) 6. HLC, Ankara, Turkey 7. Dr. De Freitas, Valencia, Spain 8. Eugenix, India (too far from me) 9. Dr. Pekiner, Ankara, Turkey 10. Dr. Feriduni, Hasselt, Belgium
  2. Spain is not available (Couto and Freitas are booked until 2021, the first, and 2022 the second). Belgium... I'm not a fan of Feriduni, I don't really like his works. It remains for me Rahal (but for a price which is hovering around 9000€ and in this way I'd have nothing left, literally), Turkey and UK with dr. Reddy (I have seen his works, I like them... but he asks 150$ for a preliminar consultation, in addition to flying and hotel, and it doesn't include an italian translator - my english is very bad -, unlike the Turkey ). Plus I did in the past a surgery with a turkish butcher, and I'm scared I'll make another mistake. So I'm stuck.
  3. Disagree. Fear mongering has no relevance in this instance, OP states ‘Dr. Feriduni recommended that I take fin, but I decided against it for personal reasons. The possible side effects are too extreme for me.’ This suggests to me that OP has in fact already done his research, and he has came across the fact that there is a possibility of a variety of unwanted side effects, as is clearly stated by the manufacturer and prescribing doctors. He has therefore concluded that ‘the possibility’ of these side effects are too extreme for his preference - percentages of users who experience side effects is irrelevant - it’s the fact that there is a possibility. People need to understand that some are more risk averse than others, and prioritise other areas of their health and well being above hair loss.
  4. Hello everybody, About my case history I am 34 years old and I have brown hair. I first noticed that my hair was getting thinner and thinner around 8-9 years ago. At the back of the head it started 5 years ago, but advanced more rapidly. The laterals sides of the hairline started sometime in my early 20s. But that didn't bother me that much, it's just seemed a natural process. It progressively advanced until the hairline was no more than an isolated island surrounded by a sea of bald skin. For the past 12 months, I've only been walking around wearing caps. Which is okay now and then. But all the time !? It annoyed me a lot, although I like caps. So I decided to have a hair transplant. I gathered information in several forums over the past few years. I'm really happy that I took my time, otherwise things would have gone differently. I would probably have done a HT much earlier and may now have to correct it (such stories abound). I almost had the hair removed by a robot. It was advertised as the absolute top of the line in a clinic. A manual removal by a professional convinced me more. Selection of the surgeon / clinic: After my own research on the Internet and in some forums, the following doctors and clinics came into question for me: Hattingen Hair, Dr. Feriduni, HLC, Dr. Koray, Dr. Demirsoy and Kö Hair From Dr. Muresanu (Hattingen Hair) and by Dr. Feriduni, I got the most professional feedback. I felt that I would be in good hands there. But knew in advance that they would also be the most expensive. HLC, Dr. Koray, and Dr. Demirsoy were ok too. I can't say anything bad about it. I actually wanted to spare myself Turkey because of the language, flight, temperatures, and possible follow-up treatment. In my case, these options would not have been cheap either. The contact with Kö Hair was just a joke. In response, I received a Super Summer Special. Not even half a page. Without information or analysis. Instead of 5000 grafts, like all other clinics, they only recommended 3000 grafts. And that at a dumping price with an overnight stay, etc. I'm still waiting for a response to my complaint about this dubious offer. Well ... with the doctors I got in touch with Dr.Muresanu responded very quickly by email. I've always found the conversations very pleasant. We then had a casual Skype conversation relatively quickly, in which he took a look at my “construction” site, explained a lot of the thoughts behind his recommendation and answered my questions. With such a large number of grafts, I was actually recommended FUT. Next, we made an appointment for a personal consultation in a hotel in Düsseldorf. Here he took a close look at my problem area and donor area. Under a special magnifying instrument, he could see my density and said that I have above average density and very nice follicular units, and that I was therefore eligible for FUE. Here he also clarified that large FUE sessions don't make sense for everyone. So now I was very relieved because I actually wanted FUE, and a few days later we made an appointment for August 2020. Arrival / overnight To get there I had to drive about 600km by car. I have planned the trip as a one week vacation with my family in advance. I can only recommend anyone who has never been to Lake Constance, Rhine Falls, Mainau Island, Constance, etc. We reserved a vacation home in Rialasingen-Worblingen for this. In terms of costs, the German side was exactly right. Switzerland is really very expensive when it comes to hotels/restaurants. I drove to Schaffhausen for about 30 minutes. Because of customs and looking for a parking space, I always left 1 hour in advance. First day of surgery approx. 2400 grafts Dr. Muresanu met me at the clinic at 7 a.m. We had a casual conversation beforehand which took away my nervousness. And then it began. I was given a light surgical shirt and shoes. First the hair was shaved off and I was given medication (painkillers and a pill to relieve nervousness). Then the hairline was drawn. This point was very important to me. We talked a little about what is feasible and what makes sense for the future. The hairline was placed about 0.5-1cm behind my front hairline in case it should go back in the future. Around 8 a.m.the rest of the team arrived together with Dr.Laura Muresanu. I was placed on my stomach and then everything went very quickly, a couple of injections were given, which I found rather uncomfortable...still better with the anesthetic then without . That was the greatest discomfort during the entire operation. Next the extraction from the donor area began. After a few were removed I was “turned” over and the recipient slits were prepared followed by immediate insertion of the previously removed FU`s. You can tell that the whole team works very well and smooth together. I had a lunch break between noon and 1 p.m. I could choose between different dishes. This intermittent rhythm continued for the rest of the day. Removal and insert transplants. I had no pain. I had imagined the operation to be much worse. We finished around 5pm. I was given a bandage, compresses and a pirate bandana. In addition, saline solution in a spray bottle to keep the grafts moist every 2 hours. And pain relievers for the night. I slept uncomfortably because of the required sleeping position on the back. After such an operation with a neck pillow, sleeping on your back at a 45 degree angle, sucks. Second day of surgery approx. 2800 grafts Basically just like the 1st day of surgery. Only instead of the preliminary talk etc. the hair was washed briefly. Here I was very afraid that the transplants would be destroyed directly. I fully trusted Mr. Muresanu and his team. Overall, the 2nd day was an hour shorter. A total of 5000 grafts were planned. An additional 220 grafts could be removed that were used for fine tuning. At the end of the day I received a folder with all the important information about care for the next few days, such as a PH-neutral shampoo, an ointment for the donor area and one for the recipient area. Third day - follow-up check Finally, I came again the next morning for a quick follow-up check. I have been carefully washed the recipient zone and donor area. Then I was informed how I should best behave for the next 2 weeks and how I care for the recipient zone. The last open questions were answered by Dr. Muresanu. Overall, I felt very comfortable and in professional hands at Hattingen Hair. Haircount: FUE 24.-25.08.2020 1. 431 431 2. 2298 4593 3. 2215 6645 4. 276 1104 Total: 5220 12776 Avg.Rate: 2,47
  5. Dr. Feriduni recommended that I take fin, but I decided against it for personal reasons. The possible side effects are too extreme for me.
  6. Yes, Dr. Feriduni said something like: "You will have more donor hair left after your surgery than most of my patients have before their first one". I hope he is right and did not say that just to reassure me. Thanks! So far I didn't take any medication. After this surgery I started with Minoxodil (Regaine) for my tonsure area. So that I can push my second surgery as far back as possible. I think Feriduni did not really pay much attention to the remaining hair in the midscalp area. He assured me that if this hair continues to fall out, the look will look natural. Maybe I have already lost some of the remaining hairs due to the surgery. But for me the front area is now finished. The punch size is mentioned as "WAW trumpet punch 0,85". Graft counts: Single FU's: 400 Double FU's: 2284 Triple FU's: 1088 Feel free, if you have more questions.
  7. Thanks for sharing your journey with us, Dr. Feriduni is an awesome surgeon, he’s transformed many on this forum. Like @Swill I’ll be following your results closely happy growing 🙏🏼
  8. Dear Forum, herewith I report about my hair surgery with Dr. Feriduni on 09/08/2020. A total of 3,782 follicles were placed. I hope that the report will help some of you. Of course, I am happy about comments about the pictures, which I will post regularly. 1. Why Feriduni and preliminary talks 2. Approach & Hotel 3. Step 1: Personal talk in the clinic 4. Step 2: The surgery 5. Step 3: Follow-up inspection and treatment 6. Healing process 7. Summary 1. Why Feriduni and preliminary talks I have had hair loss since I was 20 years old. Now, with 31, it became then sometime too much for me and I have dealt intensively with the topic hair transplantation. Five months passed between the initial decision to have a surgery and the actual surgery appointment - so it went relatively quickly. I started by reading through many reports in forums. (That is why I am writing this report to say "Thank you! 😊) And somehow I got involved with Feriduni from the beginning. His results convinced me the most. In addition, I simply could not find a single bad result of Feriduni. There are certainly other good clinics, but as I said, I decided relatively early. As you know it from most clinics, Feriduni offers a contact form on his homepage, where you can provide pictures and ask for a possible surgery scenario. The preliminary offer sent to me was more than satisfying. So I asked for the next step, what a personal conversation with Feriduni was. Due to Corona, however, this was a zoom meeting. But here Feriduni gained my complete trust through his professional, empathic and optimistic manner and I absolutely wanted to have a hair surgery. So I picked a free surgery appointment, took two weeks vacation and booked everything. Although my anticipation increased, the biggest uncertainty was that Feriduni could never "examine" me personally, but only via a webcam. Well, no risk no fun. 2. Approach & Hotel The cheapest and fastest way to get there was a flight to Düsseldorf and from there I took a rental car to Hasselt (about 1.5 hours by car). In Hasselt I stayed at the HasHotel, which offers special conditions for Feriduni patients. I can absolutely recommend the HasHotel. But make sure that you stay in the newly built building complex. The rooms are huge, modern and stylish. Costs for flights, rental car, fuel, hotel: approx. 900€ However, these are the costs for two people, because my girlfriend accompanied me and I covered all the costs. If I would have travelled alone the costs would have been reduced by about 350€. 3. Step 1: Personal talk in the clinic The day before the operation I went to the clinic for the first time and had a personal conversation with Dr. Feriduni. There we went through all data & facts of the preliminary talk again and my head was measured for the first time (dimensions & donor analysis). I was attested that I am a very good candidate for hair surgery. However, since my hair loss is not yet complete, I have to be prepared for one, if not two more surgeries in the course of my life. However, I knew this before or after my zoom meeting. But my donor gives away 13,000 follicles, which according to Feriduni is far above average. I was lucky. The last thing he did was to draw the hair line. Feriduni asked me constantly about my wishes, but finally I gave him a free hand. In principle, he considers everything for the hairline: the number of grafts in the donor for further operations; the general shape of the face as well as personal wishes. When the hairline was finished and I was more than satisfied, Feriduni asked me if I could just leave the hairline on until the next day. Normally, the line is drawn again on the day of the surgery, but Feriduni said that he could not make it better. And we would save time on the day of the operation itself. So I agreed and I walked around the rest of the day with a line on my head. 😊 For tomorrow's surgery 3,500 grafts are planned. But I was also told that the need for grafts during surgery may change again. 4. Step 2: The surgery At 7:30 a.m. I was picked up at the HasHotel by a cab at Feriduni's expense. Once I arrived at the clinic, I was assigned a personal room where I could change my clothes. They explained to me briefly what was going to happen today and then it already started. The first thing they did was to shave my hair. A short look in the mirror afterwards and I thought to myself: "Damn, looks actually quite good with 1mm. " Anyway, I am happy anyway. I then sat down on the operating chair and the anesthetic syringes were given to me. Absolutely painless. It was almost more painful to place the cannula in the crook of my arm for the saline solution. The anesthesia worked after a few seconds and I had to turn around to remove the grafts. This was by far the most strenuous part for me as a patient. For about 4 hours I lay on the operating table on my stomach and was not allowed to move. In the beginning it is all easy, but after a few hours you tense up and you feel an incredible pressure on your lungs. But you knew what you were getting into. So everything is not that bad. The removal of the grafts was done with two surgical aids and a third surgical aid, which took care of the counting. A total of 3,670 grafts were removed in this step. Dr. Feriduni then placed the slices. From now on I sat comfortably in the operating chair. I was offered to watch Netflix, which I did for a few minutes. But then I switched the television off again. Somehow I didn't feel like it at all and I think the sedative I was given kicked in slowly and I started relaxing and dozing. The grafts are placed all over the front area, so even where I still had hair. Dr. Feriduni said that these hairs will support the look at first, but if they fall out over time, I will still have a natural look. Next, the surgical aids put the grafts that were initially removed back into the slices that were placed right before. All unspectacular. You just sit there and do nothing but wait. You can't see what is happening up there. When all the grafts were placed, Dr. Feriduni decided after the checkup that he needed another 120 grafts. So I went through all the steps mentioned above again in a quick run until the desired final result was achieved. The whole operation took about eight hours. Dr. Feriduni said that 3,782 grafts for one day is a lot and that this does not happen too often in the clinic. This is also due to the fact that we worked through without any complications and without a break. (A break was offered to me, but I declined with thanks). The surgical nurses and Dr. Feriduni himself were very enthusiastic about my results. Of course, one cannot say whether they say this to every patient or whether it was really true. In any case, I did not have the impression that anything was being played to me. According to my unprofessional opinion, I am quite satisfied after the operation. Then post-op pictures were taken and I was finally allowed to take a cab back to the hotel, exhausted but happy at Feriduni's expense. 5. Step 3: Follow-up inspection and treatment The next day I went back to the clinic for a follow-up check and for washing. This was all done by a surgical aid. Unfortunately, I scratched my head the first night, so I lost exactly one follicle. Well, one follicle is bearable I think. But with that I was sensitized that I have to be very careful. That's why from now on I "tied myself up" with a bathrobe belt at night to avoid touching my transplanted grafts again unintentionally. Apart from that I was confirmed that everything looks very good. Then it was explained to me again in detail how I should use the care products that I received. This included a spray to be applied regularly, a lotion to soften the crusts and an oil against itching in the donor area. Also included was a shampoo for the first time and a cooling pad for the swellings. Medications were also included, which were used up after about two weeks. I also got an app for my cell phone, which shows me how to take care of my hair every day. Very helpful. In addition, the app uses a traffic light system to show what is prohibited and what is allowed (sleeping horizontally, sports, sex, headgear, etc.). Afterwards I started my return journey. By the way, completely without headgear. It was more important to me not to cause any damage than to be looked at in a strange way. But the latter actually did not happen. 6. Healing process - Day 0: No pain. Just a great feeling of pressure around the head. I took a painkiller pro forma to get a good night's sleep. - Day 1: Apart from the not painful but strange feeling of pressure on my head, I don't notice anything at all. - Day 13: I remove the complete crust after soaking my head in cling film with lotion half an hour before. The redness at the transplanted area is really limited. That was my biggest worry. - Day 14: It feels like everything has healed. From now on I only feel numbness in the transplanted area, but this is gradually diminishing. But even today (day 35) I still feel numbness. - Day 15: Tomorrow I will go to work again. After consultation with Dr. Feriduni, I may carefully trim my hair in the donor and reception area to 1mm with a hair clipper. This is what I have done. I actually like the look on 1mm quite well. Until today I wear my hair on 1mm. So far no one has noticed that I had a hair transplant. In principle, this would not have been bad, but of course it's quite pleasant if you don't notice it at work at all. Everyone just thought that I shaved my hair off. My plan now is to wear my hair on 1mm six months postoperatively and let it grow from then on. 7. Summary I am completely satisfied with how everything went. Of course I can't make any comparisons, but I don't know what should have gone differently or better. And since I'm only 1 month post-op, I can't say anything about how satisfied I am with the final result. But I am carefully optimistic. Many thanks to Dr. Feriduni and his whole team! If the result should be good, I will have my further operations performed by Dr. Feriduni without much consideration. Dr. Feriduni and his team act very professionally. It should be said that Dr. Feriduni is of course the boss in his clinic, but he acts at eye level with his assistants. Some of them have been doing the job for over 20 years and I have always felt that I was in good hands. For me it didn't matter at all that Feriduni didn't do everything himself. (Which wouldn't have been possible anyway with this number of grafts). Attached you'll find picture pre op, post op, 7 days post op, 10 days post op and 14 days post op. I will keep you updated.
  9. Hello everybody, I'm a new user of this forum, and I have 32 years old. This is my situation (2 days ago). I tried to get dr. Pekiner to have surgery with him, but he refused me considering my evolving situation too risky. I also contacted dr. Feriduni and dr. De Freitas and I'm waiting their answer. My cure is Minoxidil 5% 3 ml one time at day. I have to start taking Finasteride again. Could you advice me a good surgeon for my situation? Thanks 🙂
  10. Are you on finasteride? looks fairly aggressive for your age. I would plan to be at least Norwood 5. Also, Keser doesn’t use microscopes, he’s really selective only chooses Norwood 2s or 3s, a few guys here complained about having doubles and triples in their hairline. For the price, I think Dr. Bisanga, Maras, Feriduni, are better options. That said, looks like you shave your head and you have a good beard and headshape. It’s a good thing you’ve at least tried to shave your head, you’re already ahead of the bunch.
  11. Hi everyone! I have decided to get my hair transplant at Dr Bisanga’s clinic in Bruxelles because of this forum so I feel like I should start a thread and share the results and progress with you all. I’m 29 years old and started losing my hair when I was 22-23, in my family literally everybody has a head full of hair (and I did too) except my cousin (24) and I. Used to take minoxidil and propecia then stopped cause I was thinking “I’ll eventually get a HT so I’ll restart when I’m again at point 0”, when I stopped taking it I noticed I started losing even more hair. After long months (years?) of research, being specifically interested in “dense packing” techinques my choices came down to 4 surgeons: Hasson&Wong, Dr Bisanga, Dr Feriduni and Dr Couto (the last one being my favourite). The waiting list for Dr Couto is 2+ years (just for the initial consultation) and they don’t really seem to care too much about you so I’ve decided to go for Dr Bisanga, based also on the many positive posts on this forum, from which I understood that he was a “no bullshit” doctor, real results, no fuss. His team was very quick in getting back to my request with an estimate count of grafts and the first availability for surgery (they had different options for me and this made the choice even easier). I wish he added more cases on his website or his youtube channel because, had I seen the results I’ve seen posted on this forum on his website, my decision to go to him would’ve been even faster. I think some results posted on this blog from his clinic are even better than those he has on his website. I went to the consultation the day before surgery totally unaware of what hairline I wanted and what could fit my face. I did not “study” and I am a high maintenance-perfectionist type of person so I was very disoriented at first. Dr Bisanga designed the hairline on me but I asked to make modifications, not knowin enough to design a correct hairline. We decided to reschedule the design for the day of the surgery so I could go home and try to design more options on my head for the next morning. I tried like 15 styles and watched like 20 vids on proportions of the face etc. The next morning (sept 23rd) I was admitted 40 minutes earlier than usual to the clinic to define the hairline, still very confused I just showed the doctor how I modify my pictures on facetune and that I’ve understood that also the lateral part of my forehead was important to me to “frame” my face better. He then designed the hairline he thought was appropriate based on my requests and I was happy about it, was better than the ones we designed the day before. Threw in the request to “fill in” some beard too and he did that too (I’m still not sure I made the right choice by doing that but only time will tell). Attaching pics of consultation and hairline design before surgery
  12. I heard about him many years before through a friend. I researched everyone and found both him and Dr. Feriduni most accomplished. I didn't know about Dr. Couto and have no recollection of anyone mentioning him whilst I was in Spain. If I had, I believe I still would have selected Dr. Lorenzo, or one of his protégés; based on my appreciation of the apprenticeship model of teaching and skill acquisition.
  13. @CJL you won`t find any beter at Dr. BF price point. You can reach out to Ximena Villa (same technique but 2 patiens per day) or HLC (stick&place insted of DHI) that charge the same price or more expensive great Doctors like Dr. Feriduni and Dr. Bisanga.
  14. Hey Guano, I’m a repair patient. I had a horrible experience last year except I didn’t go to turkey, I went to Beverly Hills and payed top dollar to get botched by a doc not recommended here. I had a repair surgery a few months ago by a great doc recommended here and everything from the surgery itself to my recovery is like a night and day difference. I had pitted grafts and chunky grafts that needed to be removed so my case was a lot different then yours. I looked at your case and based on the pics it definitely looks like the surgery permanently shocked a lot of your native hairs. Because of that it’s hard to tell if you got a low yield from the surgery or not. I feel like this risk doesn’t get talked about enough on this forum when guys with minimum hair loss want to have surgery. I don’t know why some guys are more prone to it than others but hey if you look at past cases on this forum it has happened many times and even with reputable surgeons. Take a look at this guy for example: I’m not a fan of diep at all but I’ll give credit where it’s due he actually repaired this guy. In any case if you feel like you have to have another surgery to be happy the best advice I can give you is to research docs that also have great experience with repairs. If you’re in Europe you should consider Dr. Feriduni and Dr. Bisanga. Good luck.
  15. I would strongly suggest you consult with Bisanga and Feriduni, I would also say that Dr. Maras at HDC is a fantastic surgeon who is affordable. Dr. Reddy is great as well. You still have a decent head of hair, but it could be gone in 5 years. Thats a particular danger of getting an HT at that age without fin. I thank god I didn’t get one at 24. Who knows where I’d be. Me at 24 then me at 29
  16. @chyldom I had my firs HT when I was 25 years old and I lost all the hair in my crown and midscalp along with many transplanted hair because I didn’t take Finasteride. If you want to do a HT at such a young age then I highly advise to start taking Finasteride. Regarding your choice I must say I was shocked! You are comparing a all inclusive low cost Turkish Hairmill to the best doctor in the UK?????? You do know that Turkey is the world capital of botched hair transplants and that hairmill have technicians without a medical background do your surgery (they could have been taxi drivers 2 months prior to doing your surgery). Dr. Reddy is very good but for almost half the price at 2.5€/graft you have Dr. Bruno Ferreira in Porto doing the most advanced technique of the business (he also works in Madrid at Dr. Lorenzo clinic but you pay more at that clinic). With Dr. BF you get Dr. Lorenzo expertise one of the best in the world for half the price. Feriduni designs perfect hairlines but he still does pre-made slits. Bisanga is also very good but I’m not aware of his technique. These are two Doctors with a steady flow of great results but they are much more expensive.
  17. Dr. Muresanu at Hattingen Clinic is the best option for a FUT mega session (3.45€/graft). Feriduni designs perfect hairlines.
  18. This is quite the roller coaster ride, I'm sorry to hear what happened. I would not get another hair transplant until you figure out what happened with this first one. If you are not on finasteride, it could be that your male pattern baldness kicked into overdrive and started weakening the transplanted hairs. I have yet to see definitive proof that transplanted hairs are permanent for all patients. You have patterned loss which indicates male pattern baldness to me, but a dermatologist's opinion would be valuable in understanding the situation better. In addition, schedule an appointment with Dr. Feriduni to examine your donor and recipient areas, and to give an explanation why this could have happened.
  19. Had my first and only HT approx. 12yrs ago at the age of 24 (FUE approx. 1600 grafts) with Dr. Feriduni in Belgium. Pre op my hair was good and full on top, except my badly receeding hairline. I was prob NW 3. The doctor filled in the area around my hairline. My results (until recently) were decent. Because of my hair characteristics being thick and dark I was able to keep my hair around down to my eyebrow length and style in a way where it worked. However there was definitely a problem with a lesser density in the grafted area. It would really show if my hair was wet or if it was windy. About 1 year ago I was on vacation and was having my hair styled every day. Upon returning I remember that last day I left the hair spray and didn’t wash my hair for 3 days. After that I noticed I had Huge pieces of dry skin which I thought was dandruff but my barber confirmed to me that it was more serious. Eventually I found out it was scalp eczema (which I never had before). Since then I been trying to treat it but it keeps coming and going. Since then I’ve noticed 2 things mainly regarding the grafted area; 1) Relating to the grafted hairs, even though the density was already not great feels like its worse. Could this be possible? 2) Relating to the natural hairs on the front of my hairline (basically the U that I had). Definitely lost a lot there. Although first reaction may be to assume that its natural hairloss over time I don’t think that’s the case because of the drasticness of loss and coinciding with the eczema and I know my hair is in good shape, I just have a receding hairline. I have read that natural hair around transplant area can be affected and lost. What makes most sense here. If the hairs are affected by the OP does this usually happen near the time of the OP or could it be 10 years down the road? Now I am planning to schedule 2nd OP in Turkey (due to cost) asap. I have been recommended Dr. Serkan Aygin. I have so many questions; - Do you guys know anything about this doctor? Or can you recommend someone for Hairline Fue? - Are there any new technology equipment that I need to confirm the doctor uses before making my decision? - Does anyone know anything about scalp eczema and how that may factor in for a surgery? - Is it possible that I have lost some of the grafted hairs? - The natural hairs on my hairline….. Could they be falling from the eczema? Pls help guys. Any and all help is greatly appreciated! I have uploaded 2 sets of pics; !st set are from approx. 3 yrs ago. 2nd set are current pics. I shaved my head now because i cant even have hair anymore. The change that has happened over this year has been drastic imo. Hopefully pics can show. Thanks in advance, CURRENT SITUATION:
  20. Dr. Farjo and Dr. Reddy for the UK, you should consider some other options in Belgium like Bisanga and Feriduni.
  21. Oh man. 99% of the people here would kill for your pre HT state. Anyway, what is done is done. You need to consult a good doctor. My recommendation would be Dr. Feriduni. He has a few examples on this site of punching out grafts. And I think taking your hairline back a cm or so might be the best course. Talk to the folks at Eugenix. They should give you the best idea on next steps. This is fixable for sure.
  22. @Der3k7 thatchu bruh jk You have a couple of options in Europe, Dr. Feriduni, Dr. Bisanga, Dr. Reddy, they’re all able to dense pack with good results.
  23. And yes, Dr. Feriduni was between doctors for my repair HT. But I choosed another one. I hope, the best...
  24. In my opinion your better option is Dr. Bisanga in Belgium, or Feriduni. Bisanga has a clinic in Athens where he charges around the same price, except he’s one of The Godfathers of FUE. That said, I hope you’re not choosing these clinics based off their price alone. Patient results matter the most. Results > price. I know those names are regularly mentioned by Portugal for their price points, but remember always do your OWN research, and make sure you’re choosing a doctor because you’ve seen their patients results, and you’ve talked to their patients as well.
