Advice for Hair Loss Sufferers Considering Hair Transplant Surgery

My Story

  1. A FUE performed on a 33 year old European male with: - NW IV- beg. V Class T - Donor density of ~84 - 88 FU/cm2 in the occipital donor region and ~72-76 FU/cm2 in the temporal donor regions - Hair diameter of ~56-60 microns Treatment plan: - A FUE to restore the hairline, central core and bridge with medium density. Performed procedure (June 23rd & 24th, 2014): Follicular Unit Extraction performed on 2 surgery days: * 435 single hair FU * 2989 double hair FU * 571 triple hair FU Total number of follicular units on 2 consecutive days: 3995 FU Extraction performed with a 0.85mm FUE punch with CIT Manual Punch Handle. No microscopic preparation of the follicular unit grafts (FUE); Parallel incisions (single, double and triple units) were made in custom-sized blades technique (~Cutting Edge blades of 0.75mm – 0.95mm). A FUE has been performed, being the explicit wish of the patient to be able to harvest as much follicular units as possible in only one procedure. Dr. B. Feriduni
  2. You didn't address the fact that you made up the 75% number or simply took it from Dr. Feller's quotes. You didn't address the fact that you quoted a study on FUE by a doctor who has only done 80 FUE procedures over 9 years. Your stance hasn't changed IN SPITE of the evidence. You'll continue your tune no matter what unfortunately, even if that means making things up or quoting bad data by an FUT surgeon who opens his study stating that FUE is a poor procedure and doesn't state a number of important controlled variables such as holding solution. The crux of your argument is backed up by evidence; FUT grafts are of a higher quality and have less force ultimately inflicted upon them, and these will on average yield higher. FUT for the average patient will also yield more lifetime grafts than FUE. Beyond this, why do you have to make things up and quote bad data on FUE that's either fifteen years old or by a surgeon who has barely done FUE? Why make up the 75% figure when European surgeons such as Lupanzula, Feriduni, Erdogan and Keser have studies and results counting yield to confirm this is not the case? Hasson + Wong even state on their website that they believe they can "cherry pick" grafts with FUE and that the yields are equivalent. They also noticeably studied and learned FUE techniques from Dr. Erdogan, not Dr. Feller for example. Everyone here who has researched and looked at hundreds of results from doctors across the world is aware that you are exaggerating on your criticisms of this debate, whether or not the principle is correct. It sounds ridiculous because people only have to look at the FUE section of this website from the past year to see that your claims are unfounded. It isn't a good look. The fact is that there are FUE doctors yielding over 90% on a consistent basis and more and more doing cases moving up into the 6-7-8000 graft numbers through FUE across multiple procedures. 5000 FUE in a single pass is visible on various forums on a daily basis and from surgeons like Erdogan not only does the average donor look pristine a few months post surgery, 95% look pristine, totally at odds with claims that more than 1500 is unsafe or that FUE isn't suited to megassessions.
  3. Dr. Feller, I never called you names or anything. Even defended you. But this is the 3rd time you calling me out (and only gave one apology for saying that I am working for an FUE clinic secretly). If there is any misunderstanding or any info missing, you always could have contacted me. Instead you did explain yourself only to a third party, after (!) I gave my name but did not apprach me directly or in the forum. Why? 1. Wrong: I send my name, offered skype and phone and NEVER EVER heard back. 2. Wrong: I said long (!) ago, that I was on a business trip and do not use the company computer for online forums and even more important: I went away after you said you do not accept my conditions. Should I stay online until you change your mind? Unlike you I do not have business in this topic and only spend my freetime here. 3. Wrong: I had three conditions, which I never changed from my first post. 4. How do you know that I would do that? How could I do actually stop you from posting it, sue you? Why would not mention my name and “playing it clean” reduce the worth of the discussion? 5. Wrong: I gave you my name and offered skype and phone as well (just in case you do not want skype. I just assumed most clinics use skype anyway for online consulting). The conditions were there from the very beginning. 6. Ok, if this is the truth, it would be great and I appreciate that, but why haven’t you done this a long time ago? 7. You blew me off? I gave you my real name, after you accepted in public and I never ever heard back until you chatting with third party over it. Again, If you change your mind, I do not have any problem with it. But then just send me a PM and everything is fine. This is the chronic of our discussion (just corrected some spelling): Gasthoerer 4:24 PM 5/21/2017 Dear Dr. Feller, you are indeed passionate about this topic and I appreciate that. Of course I would be interested in this in such a call, cause it would help many hair loss sufferers including myself. However, I have two conditions which are not negotiable: 1. I will send you my name and everything, but I do not want it to be exposed in the net. I am afraid it might affect my career. 2. This must be played clean. No slugfest like in the other threat. Especially if the other clinics opt out, I do not want them no be called "cowards" etc. Not everyone is as open as you in the net and this has to be accepted. Also this are currently my best options for a transplant and I do not want to get in a fight with them. I will answer as well in the open forum, but without being as specific about the second topic. Best regards, Gasth?rer Dr. Alan Feller 7:38 PM 5/21/2017 I can't accept any conditions. Everything and everyone has to be open and transparent or there is no point. Gasthoerer 10:33 PM 5/22/2017 Well, Dr. Feller, I am sorry to hear that. From my point of view, this would be an interesting discussion for many forum users. My conditions would not lower the value of this debate. I do not think there is a benefit for other users, when they know my real name, but I see a risk for myself. Hence, I stand by my conditions. Other people in other positions could think differently. Of course I would be happy, if you find some else for this discussion or have the discussion bilateral. Personally, I think an consumer would be additional value for this discussion. I can still send you questions which are interesting from my (consumer) point of view if you are interested. Maybe I post them in the forum on the weekend, when I have more time. Or maybe you can get Spex asking this questions or serve as a moderator. Thanks for the approach, Gasth?rer By the way: Above was you last PM! After my reply I went on the business trip. There was no (!) evidence for me, that you would change your mind and that I would delay anything by not going online during my business trip. Until when I was back, I saw you had posted in parallel and during my absence: 05-31-2017, 11:03 PM Gasthoerer Member Veteran Real Hair Club Member Join Date: Mar 2017 Posts: 65 Last Online: Today 10:00 AM Sorry, I answer in here, cause the other thread was closed. Unfortunately, I have been on a business trip and could not access the forum (as I do not like to use the company computer). Please apologize for the late reaction. After that , I gave you my name the next day and never ever heard back: from you: Gasthoerer 1:23 AM 6/1/2017 Dear Dr. Feller, as you stated you won't publish my name, I'll send it to you, as I trust you honor you word. If you can "keep it clean" I am happy, if you contact either clinic. If you cannot promise that, then please don't apporach them. You have my name, which hopefully convinces you, that I am not involved with any clinic etc. Furthermore, I can send you the link to my "hair case" which I posted in a domestic forum, if this helps you, to judge the answers of the other clinics. But I fear that the pictures, will not to the case justice. All clinics have said that the status of my crown is difficult to judge on a picture. If you need specific pictures, let me know. Best regards, XXX (My full name) P.S. Rather than a phone call I would prefer skype, but phone would be also possible. P.P.S. You find me on Linked in (old profile) or XING (new profile) as well. https://www.linkedin.com/in/XXX/ By the way, you have made the same offer before in 2015. You could easily contact the clinics before approaching me. 06-08-2015, 03:15 AM Dr. Alan Feller Senior Member Celestial Follicle Club Member Join Date: Oct 2002 Location: Great Neck, NY Posts: 2,058 Last Online: Today 07:10 PM Hairweare, ... Tell you what, why don't you PM me your real name and phone number. Then I can make a three way call between you, me, and Dr. Lorenzo and you can hear first hand … You know what? We can keep discussing or both man up and call it a misunderstanding. Even though I do not like your style/behavior, I still like your passion. I will send you my phone number (if you do not like skype) and we go forward. Only condition from my side: My name is not being published. Nothing else. I would ask the same questions anyway in my next consultation with Feriduni in August and give insight here. But your opinion shared with Feriduni would improve the value dramatically.
  4. This picture was taken by Dr. Feriduni immediately before surgery.
  5. "Once you even referred to us as "mentally challenged" and "peanuts in the peanut gallery". It is for this very reason that I personally would never select you as my surgeon, not because I think you are not a very skilled surgeon." http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/161233-9-5-months-pics-1000-fue-dr-feller-not-good-so-far-9.html This along with his treatment of the patient and God complex presented throughout this case is my personal issue with Dr Feller. It's clear that his support of FUT is due to a passion, facts, experience and a feeling of ethical responsibility, however in presenting his case he CONSTANTLY gets himself into a position that shows a lack of empathy and understanding for the patients perspective, which is particularly devastating when he performs a bad result on a patient and often gets ugly. I will say agree with the majority of what he says to an extent and so would anyone who has looked at hundreds of cases, the prime examples with FUT being a higher success rate, higher yield, lower transection rates, less skeletonized and fragile grafts, a smaller overall area of scarring and donor damage, and a removed chance of taking grafts from a zone of future miniaturisation. I also agree that the big reason a SUBSTANTIAL number of FUE patients (maybe the majority) avoid FUT is simply because they are scared of having a strip removed from their head, plain and simple. The area I don't agree is that I don't have to be a surgeon to see that other recommended FUE only surgeons on this network are consistently performing successful FUE megasessions and multiple sessions that cross into the 5000-8000 levels with success and minimal donor scarring visible past a grade one. I did a long search for who I thought was getting the most consistent results of any doctor and I settled on Koray Erdogan, despite the fact that he ONLY performs FUE. He regularly performs 5000 over two days with little complications, and I'd argue gets more consistent aesthetically pleasing results than almost any FUT doctor I researched. We all know the other doctors in Europe who are achieving similar feats such as Lupanzula, Feriduni, Lorenzo etc. (many of who have more results to view online than Dr. Feller) The typical Feller response of "I'm not aware of their work" is clearly an outright lie, or stupid wilful ignorance. Notably the top end FUE surgeons are performing manual FUE. It comes down to the fact that there are a select few doctors who are primarily utilizing FUE that are more consistent and artful surgeons than the vast majority of FUT surgeons, and the prices in Europe make make it tempting too. There are successful FUT AND FUE sessions performed and posted on this website on a weekly/daily basis, and to deny that is stupidity. Many are aware FUT is the smarter option for a myriad of reasons, however just don't want a strip cut out of the back of their head. People should look at the RESULTS from as many FUE and FUT doctors as possible and make an informed decision for themselves. I think even with the awareness of what Feller says to be true, many would still prefer FUE.
  6. I thought Dr. Devorye was based in France? I know Dr. Feriduni is German. I am trying to get an appointment to see him in June when I am back in Europe but so far he is fully booked up! I am also between FUE and FUT after this thread. I will let the doctor decide for me. I am not sure if my scalp laxity is good or not as it feels quite tight to me but the doctor will know for sure. I have a "tuft" which is the perfect height above my eyebrows apparently but Dr. Feriduni also told me I should leave it for another year or two for the frontal third and until I am 35 (3 years) for the crown. This is why I want to see him in person (along with other doctors from my short list).
  7. A combination of FUT and FUE performed on a 33 year old Asian male with: - NW IV- beg. V Class T - Donor density of ~84-96 FU/cm2 in the occipital donor region and ~80-92 FU/cm2 in the temporal donor regions - Hair diameter of ~60-74 microns Treatment plan: - 1st treatment: A combination of FUT and FUE to restore the hairline, central core, bridge and the crown area in low/medium density (performed on August 23rd, 2012) - 2nd Treatment: A FUE treatment to add more density to the crown area (performed on December 11th, 2013 – no end result pictures yet) Performed procedure (August 23rd & 24th, 2012): Follicular Strip Transplantation with 4264 FU performed on the 1st surgery day: * 642 single hair FU * 2864 double hair FU * 758 triple hair FU Follicular Unit Extraction with 809 FU performed on the 2nd surgery day: * 40 single hair FU * 613 double hair FU * 156 triple hair FU Total number of follicular units in 2 consecutive days: 5073 FU Double layer closing with PDS 4-0 absorbable sutures and disposable skin staples; Extraction performed with a 0.85mm FUE punch with CIT Manual Punch Handle. No microscopic preparation of the follicular unit grafts (FUE); Parallel incisions (single, double and triple units) were made in custom-sized blades technique (~Cutting Edge blades of 0.75mm – 0.95mm). A combination of FUT and FUE has been performed, being the explicit wish of the patient to be able to harvest as much follicular units as possible in only one procedure. Dr. B. Feriduni
  8. Hi All, I am a 27yo male and have been suffering from hair loss for over 10 years now. I have very fine hard to maintain hair and they have never looked good all my life. Now, I am finally considering a hair transplant with Dr. Feriduni after having reading such awesome reviews. However, he told me that I can never get a full head of hair given my low density and I will need to keep getting hair transplants many times in my life to maintain a natural look. I have attached my photos. I need advice on what to do ? what are my best options . Can finasteride or something else help me ?
  9. Dr. Feriduni does excellent FUT work. He's a good choice. Dr. Devorye is also an excellent choice. Dr. Chris Bisanga is also excellent. All produce jaw dropping FUT results ON A CONSISTENT basis over many years. I'm sure I'm missing a few, but these Drs come to mind immediately.
  10. Thank you so much for your reply and also for your experiences you made with Dr. Feriduni and his staff, PJFS. Great to hear you're happy with your result after one year. Sure I would like to see pics of your HT.
  11. Make sure you have these written down and any other questions you can think of. Also if at all possible take someone with you you trust as your emotions will be running high and its easy to forget to ask the relevant questions. 1.What kind of procedures do you perform does the clinic perform ie. Strip, FUE , BHT - if so for how long and ask to see results and be put in touch with actual patients. 2. What type of donor closure does the hair transplant surgeon use? Does he use sutures or staples, and why does he use his chosen technique? What type and size of instruments does the hair transplant doctor use to make recipient incisions? 3.What is the length of time that this hair transplant physician has been performing hair transplant surgery?Ask about his credentials and experience and governing bodies he /she are assosiated with. 4. How many hair transplant technicians are employeed with their clinic? What is the length of time each hair technician has worked for the clinic? 5. Ask if you are a good candidate and ask for an explanation to why? Ask to see similar comparisons. 6. What is the state of your donor region and how many grafts does the doc feel can be safely harvested in one session and via multiple surgeries / methods? 7. Gain an estimate of how many grafts you require now and also how many are likely to be required in the futured based on your goal. 8. How good your donor laxity and how you can improve this prior to surgery IF required. can they demonstrate 9. Make sure you discuss YOUR exact goals (hairline, temples, forelock, crown, hair density, hair coverage, etc) 10. Ask how many grafts the doctor will use in your balding area 11.Ask if your goals are reasonable and if they can be met with your hair characterisitcs. 12. Establish how suitable you are for a HT in their opinon. 13. Very importantly ask if you can meet or talk to previous patients in similar circumstances to yourself. Also ask to see testimonials and plenty of photos. 14.Ask about costs involved eg. prices of consults(if applicable), amounts per graft and additional aftercare, medications etc as most clinics vary from some degree and its good to know exactly where you stand! 15. Can I get a reduced fee for short notice surgery? Travel reimbursement?and ask how long their wating list is. 16. Discuss medications such as propecia and finasteride to help prevent further loss. Ask if they can perscribe? 17. Does this hair transplant clinic dissect hair grafts from the strip using a microscope? 18. Ask about post op and pre op instructions. Can you have a list (hardcopy) 19. Can you record the entire consultation? If no, walk out. 20. Have they had any HT surgery? If so who with? Red flags "Just had a cancellation and we can see you next week." 12. Follicular Unit Transplantation performed on a 30 year old Caucasian male with: - Isolated vertex hair loss - Donor density of ~70-80 FU/cm2 in the occipital region and ~60-70 FU/cm2 in the temporal region - Hair diameter of ~64-74 microns Treatment plan: A Follicular Unit Extraction to add density to the crown area. Performed procedure (September 25th, 2013): A Follicular Unit Extraction with 1408 FU in a single day session * 1408 double and triple hair FU ("Cherry-picking-technique) Extraction performed with a 0,90 mm FUE punch with Versi handle™. Parallel incisions (single and double units) were made in custom-sized blades technique (~Cutting Edge blades of 0,85 mm). I generally do not advise a crown reconstruction in patients younger than 35 but since this patient only suffered from minor hair loss and since his donor situation was still intact, I made an exception after informing him about the possible risk on future hair loss. Dr. B. Feriduni
  13. FUT performed on a 26 year old African female patient with: - Donor density of ca. 72 FU/cm2 in the temporal donor region and 76 FU/cm2 in the parietal donor region - Hair diameter of ca. 52-56 microns - Hair loss due to a burning injury in her childhood - Her health insurance didn’t cover the costs of a reconstructive surgery so she became a ‘foundation’ patient Treatment plan: Follicular Unit Strip Transplantation with 1800-2000 FU to restore and fill in the burn marks. 14. *I am currently one year out from having surgery with Dr. Konior of Oakbrook Illinois. My laptop crashed so bear with me on this post as I will be pulling pics from my phone and adding them as we go. Brief Background: 53 years old, very fine blonde hair. I had 2 strip surgeries back in the bad old days of hair transplantation in the 90's. These two failed procedures left me with a horrible moth eaten look on top, pitting, and two stacked strip scars in the back. I consider those two surgeries to be the worst two life decisions I've made. My Pros and Cons going into the procedure: Pros: Blonde hair which minimizes the scalp/skin contrast. Realistic expectations, I realized that I will never have a full head of hair/hairline. I just wanted to get back to a normal looking appearance where I didn't feel that people I would meet would have their gaze shift up to my hairline. Cons: Badly depleted donor area, very fine textured hair. My decision to choose Dr. Konior was literally years in the making, as I was determined not to make a bad decision again, and I am really grateful that this forum existed or I would never have found out about him. I had been following his career/cases for a number of years and was always impressed by the precision of his work, and his ownership of his practice/procedures. He is a boss without a doubt. Other surgeons I was considering were Dr. Ron Shapiro, Dr. Lorenzo, Dr. Hasson, and Dr. Feriduni. I realized that I had one of the best surgeons in the world in my backyard (I'm in Chicago) so the choice was made. After consulting with Dr. Konior it was decided that FUE would be the safest and most practical way to attempt a repair. My scalp laxity was tight and the thought of doing another strip and the scar stretching was just too much of a risk. I'd like to thank Dr. Konior for being so gracious with his time and correspondence leading up to my procedure, he always answered my e-mails and phone calls right away and is clearly engaged and accessible to his patients. The procedure was basically finished on the first day but I came back the next morning for some fine tuning and to have the beard hair grafts done. Dr. Konior wanted to get more beard hairs into my scars but I was just squirming around in the chair too much for some reason, so we stopped at 150. I might go back for more at a later date. I was driven to and from the hotel, things went very smoothly. I arrived the night before the procedure was to be done and got shaved at the office and Dr. Konior drew in the hairline so we could hit the ground running the next day. Pics to follow...
  15. Yes, that was important for me. I decided for Dr. Feriduni because of his excellent results, especially for the frontal hairline. I had personal consultation in May 2016 in Belgium and the final op than in November 2016. But already in December 2015 I fixed the op date for November 16. After my visit at the doctor and meeting himself I had no doubt for right decision. Of course Dr. Feriduni is more expensive than traveling to a doctor in Tukey but I think the money is worth it. In my opinion he is one of the best doctors like Ron Shapiro and Hasson & Wong The wait time is about one year I hink.
  16. I think if you're still in North America and the EU then this is fine as they have as high, if not higher, standards than the UK. This only becomes an issue when you go into the 3rd world and there is no/loose/poorly implemented regulation. I was reluctant to go to Turkey (and had outright dismissed it as an option) but Dr. Keser uses manual tools, does his own work (i.e. doesn't have technicians doing half of the procedure) has a great reputation, his hairlines are amazing and is very cheap. Flights from continental Europe to Turkey are cheap at about 130 euros return so it can't hurt to at least have a chat with him (that's my rationale anyway). The others, if you're interested, are Drs. Feriduni and Lupanzula, both based in Belgium.
  17. And in saying all that Dr. Feller has consistently put out great information for anyone interested in transplants and creates great results himself. Ultimately FUE is better in Europe because wages are lower and techs and doctors end up with more experience with it. I appreciate how this would upset American doctors who cannot compete, and that Feller is also invaluable at leading people not to go to chop shops and look at results from forum goers and learn about the procedures but that doesn't make his criticisms of FUE accurate. I invite EVERYONE to compare the FUE cases on the forums for everyone to see of Dr Feller and compare them to the results of Dr. Keser, Dr Erdogan, and Dr. Feriduni. See for yourself who is getting the better results. Then compare the Feller FUT cases to the FUE cases of doctors I mentioned. No assertions from myself here, but see what you think.
  18. Another thing I would mention is that whenever I see others bring up the results of master European FUE surgeons such as Erdogan, Lorenzo, Lupanzula and Feriduni to Dr. Feller this in particular sets him off. He loves to outright lie and say "no one is producing great FUE megassessions" but when evidence to the contrary is provided, he will outright no respond to it and NEVER mention European doctors by name, most likely because he fears them. This is an issue I have seen with Dr. Rassman on the Reddit forums too, when he outright claimed to not know who Dr. Erdogan (Vice president of World FUE institute) or Dr. Lorenzo (Head of the World FUE institute) were. This is a blatant lie and just oozes fear for doctors who are providing a better FUE service for a lower cost than any American doctor so attain Voldemort status and must not be named. The evidence is clear that FUT is the better procedure for long term management of the donor area, however it would be nice to stop lying about yields and acknowledge good results of great European FUE surgeons, (and actually admit to knowing who they are and mentioning their name) We all know they're taking clients away from American surgeons, but the fact is they're doing a better job (for half the price or less), and the first step for American surgeons to get some of these patients back is to admit they aren't as skilled and refine their procedure, or perhaps go to Europe and learn from the masters.
  19. Overview: 2509 graft FUE done by Dr. Hasson Hey all, I wanted to create a thread regarding my experiences/updates with respect to the FUE procedure I had with Dr. Hasson in Vancouver. I am a 26 year old white male, and live in Washington, DC. Background: I started to notice the hairs on my temples becoming weaker during my senior year of high school. I didn’t think much of it at the time as I kept my hair longer in the front and it wasn’t too noticeable. Once I went to university and decided to buzz it down, I realized that my hairline was disappearing. Four years later I realized that miniaturization was continuing with hairs further back, so I consulted a dermatologist, who recommended Finasteride (1 mg) to me. I’ve been taking it for 2.5 years now, and I have seen no further loss. Luckily I didn’t experience too many of the Fin side effects, so I’ll continue to use it until a better solution comes out. For the past 18 months, I’ve lurked around the various hair loss forums. I knew in the beginning that I wanted to go with FUE so as to avoid the linear scar (but to be clear, many doctors on this site are so skilled that these scars are almost non-existent). The idea of travelling for my operation wasn’t a deterrent, so Rahal, Feriduni, Bisanga, and Keser were in mind. But once I found out that H&W was offering FUE, I went for a consultation. Consultation with HW: Luckily H&W was offering consultations in my city, so in mid-March I met with Mike. Unlike a consultation I had before, we mainly talked about sports, travel, and women (we’re simple men). I explained how I wanted to recreate my hairline, but also wanted to do so in a manner that would look appropriate over time. Mike examined my donor and recipient areas, and said I’d need around 2000 grafts to get the job done. When I was told the number of grafts I’d need, I had a sigh of relief as my prior consultation concluded I’d need 3000 grafts. After a few days of back and forth with Mike, I decided to schedule my surgery. On June 5, I travelled to Vancouver for my operation the following morning. Day of Surgery: Sleeping the night before was difficult, but fortunately I had travelled a long way and was worn out. The following morning I arrived bright and early, completed all the paperwork, and met with Elena (who has to be the best HT tech ever!). A few minutes later, Dr. Hasson walked into the room and we began to discuss my proposed hairline. As he looked further into my recipient area, he said that it would require 2500 grafts to really make the transplanted area match the non-miniaturized area. Having travelled over 3000 miles, I wanted to have it done correctly. So Elena and Dr. Hasson took pre-op pictures, and I took to the chair. I have to mention that Dr. Hasson has the best staff! Given the large number of grafts, they stayed until 1am to get the job done. And still, when I went in the following day they were as bright and friendly as the day before. Pain/immediate Post Op: I was given pain meds and sleeping meds, but I decided only to take the Tylenol. Day 1 Post Op: Went in at 12pm for my first wash. Elena examined my donor area and noted that the donor graft holes had already gotten much smaller. Later that night, the itching began. Day 2 Post Op: Went in at 12pm for my second wash. While waiting for the tech, Dr. Hasson walked by and examined me. He said that the recipient grafts looked very strong, and that my donor area was healing nicely. 2 Weeks Post Op: By this point, I've shed 25% of the graphs. I think that’s enough for now, but here are a few pictures. Pictures: Pre Op 1-2, Immediate Post Op 3, 2 Day Post Op 4-9, 1 Week Post Op 10-11, 2 Weeks Post Op 12-14
  20. thank you for reply, I had a consult with Dr.Hakan Doganay, Koray Erdogan, Rahal, Yaman, Karadeniz, Keser, Feriduni and pending Bisanga. I was more concerned about vertex and crown area, not sure how it will look like if I get 50% on top and back, 50% for front and hairline. And I'm deciding between Dr.Rahal and Dr.Yaman
  21. Impossible to say how your hair will look by December. As has already been mentioned, some guys grow quickly while others more slowly. You may have a decent looking hairline by your weeding but it's not a given. On the upside, Dr. Feriduni does excellent work. I'm sure you'll be happy with the outcome.
  22. Dr. Feriduni, Very impressive example of your work and results as always. Keep up the great work. Best wishes, Bill
  23. The reason I decided for an unshaven FUT instead of a FUE with Dr. Feriduni was to go back to work after two weeks without anyone taken notice I had a hair transplant. Fortunately this is what happened.
  24. Vespa74, Dr. Feriduni is a class act and has a long, outstanding history of performing advanced hair transplant surgery with excellent results. I'm honestly very surprised to hear that you aren't happy and are referring to your hairline as a "thick strip of hair" with no growth behind. To be fair however, we ask that you present photos showing multiple angles of your scalp before surgery and today. We also ask that you post any pictures of your scalp immediately after surgery if you have them. We will be notifying Dr. Feriduni about this topic so that he may respond to your concerns. We ask that you contact us privately at help@hairtransplantnetwork.com and provide us with your full name and date of surgery. Your identifying information will not be made public. But you will need to provide Dr. Feriduni with the necessary permission he needs to respond to your concerns. This includes presenting photos if he needs to. Best wishes, Bill
  25. This is a tricky question because everyone's goals, budget and preferences are different including whether they want an aggressive or conservative approach, location and logistic factors, pricing, tech-centric or doctor-centric clinics etc. If we're talking worldwide, Dr. Couto, Lorenzo, Bisanga and Erdogan (add Feriduni in there too) are among the best in Europe. Dr. Konior, Diep and Vories are the top ones in N. America. That at least should be a starting point to begin your research. You can narrow it down from there.
