Advice for Hair Loss Sufferers Considering Hair Transplant Surgery

My Story

  1. It’s likely that you can get this fixed. Your procedure and touch up were modest so you’ve probably have enough donor to reshape and thicken your hairline. 2000 grafts or so would give you a major improvement. I’d look at Konior or Gabel for your case. They do excellent hairline repair work and the size of the procedure is right in their sweet spot. If you are in Europe, look at Devroye or Feriduni. In Canada, Dr. Wong. Keser in Turkey if money is an issue.
  2. If you are not sure - don't go fot it. That is what Dr. Feriduni told me befoe the surgery. And he is right. But: I decided for Feriduni cause after > 1 year of research I only had seen 1 bad result. In the month before the surgery, 3 (!) bad results popped up. That's life.
  3. Simple to answer. I stick to what Dr. Feriduni told me during the pre-op hairline drawing (we dicussed to perform a bigger surgery than initially planned, but I was unsure and hesitating): "If you are unsure about a cosmetic surgery, don't do it".
  4. Dear community, I am happy to share my personal experience with Dr. Feriduni end of January 2017. I really like reading this website and as I found many posts regarding lack of patient reviews for Dr. Feriduni I am pleased to be able to offer you some insight. I will try to keep my post as short as possible to provide you with the most important information. My hairloss: It started at the age of 19 with a receding hairline (I am 33 now). I have been using minoxidil 5% and finasteride since 10 years. Slight miniaturisation on the vertex developed and receding progressed to NW3 over the years but no dramatic change. Consultation: Dr. Feriduni is really a great person. Very knowledgable and still moderate. Easy to get along with. I have had another consultation with a different recommended physician before, but I felt much more confident with Dr. Feriduni. He gives you a great insight and has a great talent for hairlines. My goal was to reinforce my hairline. I wanted to stay conservative and minimize the risks for the procedure. Furthermore, a slightly receding hairline fits well to my facial features. Dr. Feriduni had the same in mind and directly nailed a great hairline design. So we finally agreed on 1600 - 1800 grafts. Surgery: Started early at 7:30 pm. Extractions were performed by Dr. Feriduni and an experienced technician. Incisions by Dr. Feriduni and implantation by 2 technicians were fast. A last hairline round with Dr. Feriduni and 1 technician in "stick and place" technique was performed. We were finished at around 2pm. 1706 grafts were finally placed. Accomodation: I stayed at the guesthouse provided by the clinic. A very beautifully equipped modern house in the calm neighbourhood of the clinic. As I stayed there alone at the weekend I got a room upgrade and had the whole house for myself. It was a great stay for me. A taxi was provided by Dr. Feriduni for the day of surgery. Post-op: Had a hair wash on Saturday and Monday by the clinic and a final appointment with Dr. Feriduni. Everything was fine. The surgery itself was without any problems, graft quality was voted 9/10. Coming back home, one starts getting a little paranoid about details, but in general there were no issues. I stayed at home most of the time (first 2 weeks), but was not shy to go in the supermarket or a restaurant without a hat. Scabbing was the most irritating part, but with using the hair spray solution provided by the clinic there was no itching. I got rid of the scabs on day 12/13 by putting on shampoo (provided by clinic) for 40min and showering afterwards. I nearly kept all of the grafts after losing my scabs and there is nearly no redness seen. Donor area is flawless. I am in my third week now and continously shedding the grafts. I have started applying minoxidil foam 2xday since day 15. Medications/supplement: - Rogaine foam 2xday - Finasteride 1.75 mg/day - Vitamins (provided by clinic) and "Pillfood" supplement 3xday - MSM 1200 2 x day - Biotin 10mg/day What I learned/recommendations: - there is a difference in the punch outer diameter for the same punch size provided by different companies. So a 0.8 punch may lead to a different size of wounds depending of the company that produces the punch. - I did not drink much the morning of the surgery as I knew I will get some i.v. saline solution. So I had to use the washing room just once. Avoid coffee! - really give your best to stay calm and try not to move during surgery. Giving my best to keep the surgery as short as possible was important for me. - Drink a lot after surgery, at least 1.5l water. It helps getting rid of the swelling earlier. I will update you about my progress in the following weeks. As everyone knows it is a rollercoaster ride of feelings during the process, sometimes with doubts about the outcome, sometimes optimistic. I am very happy and thankful for the effort by Dr. Feriduni and his great staff. I always felt reassured and had a truly great experience with the team. I am a physician myself and therefore provided with some deeper insights in the medical field, nevertheless I am still really astounded how orchestrated the procedure went and how detailed the hair placement turned out. So let us see how it will develop in the coming months.
  5. Thanks, Melvin. Yes, I intend on meeting with all of those NYC doctors. I guess my question was looking for people's subjective opinions of the best, most artistically rendered hairlines. Dr. Feriduni in Belgium, or Hasson & Wong in Vancouver, for example. I'd be willing to travel if it might result in a more natural-looking outcome.
  6. This patient was recommended by the burns unit of the Rotterdam‘s hospital and visited our clinic for the first time in December 2008. He suffered from severe scarring (grade III) at the frontal and left part of the scalp and left eyebrow due to a burning incident with sunflower oil. His health insurance refused to cover the costs of a reconstructive surgery so he became a ‘foundation’ patient. Treatment plan of the four-step surgical procedure: 1. The first surgical procedure involves the insertion of a skin expander (Silimed skin expander, 600ml) as a preparation for a scalp reduction in the left fronto-temporal region. 2. A scalp reduction in the left fronto-temporal region to reduce the recipient area. 3. A Follicular Unit Strip Transplantation with 2000 FU to reconstruct the left fronto-temporal region and left eyebrow 4. An eyebrow reconstruction with 200 FU to add density to the left eyebrow (in 1-2 Follicular Unit Transplantations) Performed procedures: 1. The insertion of a skin expander (September 1st, 2009) 2. The expander was already removed after 6 weeks due to a skin infection caused by the staphylococcus aureus bacteria. A ‘minor’ scalp reduction was performed afterwards (December 12th, 2009) Due to the infection we were compelled to change the treatment plan of the Follicular Unit Strip Transplantation into 2500-3000 FU instead of 2000 FU 3. A Follicular Unit Strip Transplantation was performed to redesign the left hair line, left temporal points and left temporal region (March 4th, 2010) with : § 1046 single hair follicular units § 1463 double hair follicular units § 375 triple hair follicular units The patient has suffered both mentally and physically from his burning injuries. He is now at a stage that his hair looks good again and that we only need to add density to his left eyebrow. He still needs to undergo several facial skin treatments at the burns unit of the Rotterdam’s hospital but he already feels a lot more confident now. Dr. Bijan Feriduni
  7. In Europe, Dr. Feriduni, Dr. Bisanga, Dr. Devroye, Dr. Reddy, Dr. Farjo, Dr. Lupunzula etc.
  8. This is difficult, because the artistry of surgeons vary from surgeon to surgeon. Some patients, may like Dr. Diep's hairline designs, while others may prefer Dr. Rahal, it is somewhat like choosing between a Mercedez and BMW. It comes down to preference. We recommend most of the best FUE surgeons on the planet, Dr. Erdogan, Dr. Diep, Dr. Devroye, Dr. Feriduni, Dr. Bisanga, Dr. Konoir etc.
  9. Ironically, I think you might be talking about Gentel_man83, recently contacted me through private message, around the same time you started asking questions about this. He asked me to comment on the doctors reply on his topic but he did not post a link to it. That said it was a Dr. Feriduni topic. If that’s the topic you are talking about, it is definitely not removed Bill
  10. Hi @Dr. Glenn Charles Thanks for your reply. Dr Lupanzula does offer both. I don't have fine hair and my donor has about 9,000 grafts with FUE according to Dr Lupanzula in an in-person consultation. I want FUT to get the most out of my donor. I don't care about the scar and will get FUE put into it anyway. I have several other in-person consultations this month with the other main Belgian doctors and Dr Feriduni.
  11. Hi All I am a newbie looking for some help and advice please. Long story (sort of short) I got an HT procedure 7 months ago and to be honest so far I am not happy at all with the results even though I know there is still time to go up to 12 months post-op I am struggling to see how it will improve. I rushed into it and did not research it enough, which I know now and sadly it seems this is all too common. I am not going to name the clinic just yet to be fair to them but if it becomes clear that it is a disaster and does not improve then I will do, as the last thing I want is for someone else to end up like I have, although I unfortunately know that plenty of people have and will make the same mistake. I am already looking at getting it repaired and have looked at Dr Ball at The Maitland clinic who seems pretty good and Dr Feriduni who is another good Dr. If only I had gone to either of these first! Contacted both of them but they both said I should wait until more time has passed, which is fair enough. My questions are: 1) As stupid as this sounds I am not an expert and don't know what I'm looking for and neither is my Mrs - why exactly does it look bad? Hair angles, multi hair grafts, too straight, or all of them!? 2) What in your opinion would it take to fix it? Am I looking at getting some more FUs inserted to break up the straight line and increase the naturalness? Or is it a matter of having to get grafts extracted and re-implanted (My biggest fear!). I will also say that it looks far worse to me in person than it does in photographs for some reason? Sorry they are quite large, I included a mixture with some wet and some dry and from various stages of recovery to give you a good overview. Again it doesn't quite come across how straight it looks in pictures. I'll see if I can take some more if it is not clear. They are all with the hair combed back to try and show you the hairline, however, I wear my hair in a fringe most of the time and when I do, you can see the hard 'line' under my native hair and it just does not seem to blend, although the difference in length doesn't help. Anyway please let me know what you think? Lastly...thanks in advance!
  12. Dr Erdogan at Asmed clinic is the only doctor in Turkey I would entertain. The best doctors in Europe are in Belgium. Drs. Bisanga, Deroye, Feriduni, Lupanzula and Mwamba. I have just this minute had a consultation with Dr. Lupanzula in London. He is here for the weekend doing consultations. I will do a write up separately but I would recommend you speak to him if you can. Just email his assistant, Eva (who is very good) and get something booked in. He regularly comes to London for these consultations though.
  13. First of all, I would like to mention that I feel very sad about the patient’s situation. At my clinic and towards our patients, we always do our utmost from the preoperative planning/consultation onwards until the day of surgery. We also appreciate to stay in touch for any specific questions concerning the aftercare and monthly updates. Here’s a brief summary from the initial contact until the follow-up after his 2nd surgery: - Online consultation (July 2012) – pictures hair situation patient *attached picture Results1-jpg Since I hadn’t met the patient in person, I wasn’t able to perform any measurements concerning his donor density and scalp flexibility. Therefore, the initial treatment plan, after inspecting the pictures of his online request, (pic 5 & 6) was either a FUE 3000 – 3500 FU or FUT with 3500 - 4000 FU. I also advised him to consider the extraction of the previous transplanted FU’s on his right temporal area (pic 2), as in my opinion, the hairline design (ex-domo) was too low. - Preoperative consultation (1st surgery - October 2012, Hasselt, Belgium) Anamnesis: 29-year-old patient who suffers from hair loss since 2004 and underwent a FUT operation in 2008 ( ex-domo). At the current age of 29, the patient believed his hair loss was relatively stable and he didn’t use any medication such as Finasteride or Minoxidil. Family anamnesis: Hair loss father: all zones Hair loss mother: / Hair loss brother: 1, 3 Hair loss grandfather on mother’s side: / Hair loss grandfather on father’s side : 5, 5v, 6 Hair loss uncle on mother’s side: unknown Hair loss uncle on father’s side: unknown - The genetic hair loss is inherited from the male side of his family - According to the patient, approx. 1000 - 1500 FU were transplanted for the reconstruction of his hairline and temporal recessions during his previous surgery in 2008. Diagnosis: Hair loss pattern classification: MPB Type NW III – IV, vertex, Class T Donor area: good skin condition and optimal scalp laxity occipital and parietal area Hair structure: slightly wavy Measured density occipital: 76 FU/cm² of which 25 % – 30 % were singles FU Miniaturization occipital: 10 % Hair density: 158 hairs/cm² Linear scar in the lower occipital and parietal area with a length of approx. 14 cm and a variating width of 3 to 8 mm. Recipient area: multiple incorrectly placed FU’s (incorrect angulation and direction) in his right + left temporal recession Advised treatment plan after personal examination: FUT in order to reconstruct frontal third (zone 2, 3 and the transition towards zone 4) in a medium density Extraction of several incorrectly placed FU from previous surgery out of his right temporal recession - OR-Report October 2012 – 1st surgery (Dr. B. Feriduni) Breakdown: 1684 Singles (!) 1965 Doubles/Triples Total: 3649 FU Aftercare: Postoperative aftercare performed at my clinic between 1 and 14 days postoperative without any complications *attached picture Result2-a.jpg Evaluation after 11 months postoperative: As it wasn’t possible - due to the high percentage of single FU’s - to achieve the necessary HGI during the 1st operation, we agreed on performing a touch-up surgery (April 2015) through FUE with the strategy to “cherry-pick” the double and triple FU in order to obtain a higher HGI (Hair per Graft Index). - OR-Report April 2015 - 2nd surgery touch-up FUE (Dr. B. Feriduni) Breakdown: FUE in cherry-picking technique with a total amount of 1299 FU (HGI: 2.3 Hairs/FU) to increase the density in the central core and bridge (zone 3 and 4). Internal rating of surgery quality (1 = very bad; 10 = excellent): Extraction: 8/10 Implantation: 8/10 Graft quality: 7/10 Aftercare: Apart from a slight seroma wound on the 1st and 2nd day postoperative, no further inconspicuous findings were visible. After the 2nd procedure, I haven’t heard back from my patient until the 18th day postoperative when he sent some pictures which showed a normal healing situation. And as I didn’t receive any further updates I presumed that the result turned out fine because most patients tend to forget to keep us posted as the growth continues to mature. >> So why did we get this result? In general, following points are important for a good result: The operation (long term strategy, meticulous preoperative planning) The healing process during the first 14 days postoperative Patient related factors like the PGI (Personal Growing Index), general diseases, smoking or other non-MPB related reasons BUPA (Bald Unpatterned Alopecia with a high degree of miniaturization in the donor area) I’ve sent a personal message to the concerned patient to invite him for a check-up at my clinic. I will examine the result and have a closer look at his donor area to exclude BUPA (recently revealed), other patient-related factors and to discuss possible further medical therapy, surgical as well as non-surgical options such as Tricopigmentation in order to help him correct the unexpected result. Dr. B. Feriduni
  14. Gentleman, If you already gave @Dr. Bijan Feriduni Permission to reply to this topic than hopefully he will reply with more information. Has he made you any kind of offer to resolve your concerns? Thanks for your continued faith in this community to help you even in the midst of difficult circumstances. I appreciate how you keep a level head and recognize that your doctor is still top-notch bought that you were situation just didn’t work out the way it should. But you do of course, still need to focus on resolution when she’s on her since understandable and expected. Please keep us posted. Bill
  15. Dear Bill, I informed earlier that I told the doctor there will be no issue at all to post his explanations (I already posted them here) as long as no private details will be revealed. I agree that, there was a piece of paper talking about the risks but I am not sure if a bad result could be classified as a risk? a good quality doctor should care about all possible factors and take all required measures to ensure a satisfactory result before the surgery. As you said Bill, full refund will not solve the problem at all and I believe Dr. Feriduni will stand behind his patients. Unfortunately, I didn't read a lot of positive replies here as some of them where destructive, some were annoying and some just want to blame the doctor for the result even thought it could happen to any one. I believe in this forum when I selected my surgeon and I still have the faith that I will get the support to get out of this ****. As I posted earlier, I started to think about BHT as a possible solution but I am not sure about the hair nature and the growth.
  16. Delancey, A lot of members are Very quick to suggest full refunds win I don’t think most people understand that for refunds are not typical. I’m not saying it doesn’t or won’t happen in this case, but, most hair transplant surgeons go over the risks of surgery before hand and even if they don’t go over it personally, there is a piece of paper that goes over all of it and even discusses the process of surgery and explains that they agreed to take upon the risks themselves. Now, I do firmly believe that a good quality surgeon like Dr. Feriduni should stand behind his patients and do something for him, but providing a full refund is in very typical. Typically, what we recommend is for the patient to work with her doctor and try to undergo a free procedure to replace the grafts that did not grow or resolve whatever concern there is. Frankly, a full refund, although it sounds good doesn’t really resolve any problems. If anything, they have their money back but now they’re in a worse off position then when they started. So, it’s actually better to undergo another surgery in order to resolve the issue. After all, he’s already selected an outstanding surgeon and it’s possible that his case has extenuating circumstances. I would like to hear how the surgeon intends to resolve this issue but I also need to get verification that he has permission to post and share his side of the story. Bill
  17. Why was the title edited? I believe it said "Bad FUT Result - Dr. Feriduni." This is a terrible result and I hope that the patient receives a full refund.
  18. Hi! I have booked consultations with doctors: Lupanzula on the 14th of this month; Feriduni and Bisanga on the 31st August and Devroye on the 3rd September. I am still waiting to hear back from Dr. Mwamba. I already have a list of questions I have thought of but can anybody give any me any questions they didn't ask but wish they had or just any general questions they did ask so I can add to my own set. What is the best way to prepare for the consultation? Take photos of family? Leave my hair to grow? Get it cut? Any advice to get the most out of them would be much appreciated! Thanks p.s. does anybody have any recommendations for other doctors that I should add to the list that I may have missed? I am only willing to get this done in Europe (Turkey doesn't count).
  19. Thank you Legend007 again for your reply and I would like to highlight and emphasize that Dr. Feriduni did the second surgery "FUE" for free of charge, since it was supposed to be a touch up surgery and to improve the result of the first surgery.
  20. Dear Bill, I replied to Dr. Feriduni mail on 27-06-2018 and informed him that I have no problem of course to share his side of the story here as long as it doesn't reveal any personal details. Moreover, below is Dr. Feriduni reply to my case "In general, following points are important for a good result. 1) The operation 2) The healing process during the first 14 days postoperative 3) Patient related factors like the PGI (Personal Growing Index), BUPA (Bald unpattern alopecia), general diseases, smoking or other non-MPB (Male pattern baldness) related reasons. Going back to your first surgery on 24.10.2012 at my clinic: The donor quality wasn’t very good – we discussed this during your preoperative consultation. But you had this hairtransplantion before and there were only two possibilities: Going on or extraction the FU in the hairline and reduce the scar visibility with an FUE treatment Your donor density occipital wasn’t so bad (72 - 76 FU/cm²) but we had a high amount of single FU with only a Hairdensity of 158 Hairs/cm2. The total number of FU’s which we got out of the strip was 3649 FU and 1648 of this amount were unfortunately single FU’s. The postoperative recovery was influenced by some yellowish scabs but overall, the healing progressed without complications. Although the outcome wasn’t as expected, we were able to see an improvement at the level of your frontal region on your forwarded pictures after 11 months postoperative. Thus a second operation, considering your donor situation, was performed in FUE with the idea/strategy/goal to “cherry-pick” the double and triple FU, to obtain a higher HGI (Hair per Graft Index). After your 2nd procedure on 14.04.2015, I haven’t heard back from you besides the 18th day postoperative where your scalp seemed to be recovering well from the last procedure. And as I didn’t receive any further updates I presumed that the result turned out fine because most patients tend to forget to keep us posted as the growth continues to mature. But the majority revisits my clinic after 1 year for the final result. Therefore, I hope that, even after 3 years, you’re still willing to visit my clinic to discuss all possible options. Rest assured, I will take your travel costs (flight + hotel) for my account. And we’ll help you to arrange your visa approval once again. However, I do believe that it would be a nonegated procedure to have your scalp checked in advance through a biopsy of both recipient and donor area to exclude, of what recently has been revealed, BUPA (Bald Unpatterned Alopecia) which would be the opposite of DUPA (Diffuse Unpatterned Alopecia). As in both cases, we see a male pattern baldness condition with +20 % ongoing miniaturization in the donor area, which could have been the cause of the significant lack of density in the recipient area. " This is for your information and to keep you updated.
  21. Gentel_man, Thank you for sharing more information and for posting photos. I know Melvin has been in touch with you and Dr. Feriduni and I know you’ve heard from him via email as well. What did he say? it does appear that you’ve had surgery prior to visiting Dr. Feriduni which I suspect may be part of the issues you’re experiencing. It’s my hope that you will work with Dr. Feriduni andgive him the chance to help you get the results you want and deserve. Please let us know what the plan is. Best wishes, Bill
  22. Dr. Feriduni has responded to my email, I will tell him to go ahead and post his response to this thread.
  23. Dear all, Firstly, Iet me explain that I am really not into writing on forums regularly because I don't have access to my computer daily. I have received an email from Dr. Feriduni and I am in touch with Melvin and sent to him all pics I have. I have already posted some of them here and will post them again to make it clear for everyone. Photo (1): Local FUT HT Photo (2,3): 10 months FUT post op by Dr. Feriduni. Photo (4,5,6,7,8) FUE by Dr. Feriduni Photo (9,10,11,12) Final result for both FUT&FUE Again I hope to understand that I am trying to find the best possible option for my case not to attack the doctor. I have full respect to Dr. Feriduni and his previously posted outstanding results.
  24. hi all, my name is Rahul and i am from India. I have had 2 Hair Transplants Till Now. Both in India, with different doctors. First HT = FUT 2000 Grafts. Second HT = FUE 3000 Grafts (Grafts count, both time, as said by the doctors, but in India they are not ethical, and say something else, and do something else) Now, My Whole STORY : I have had 2 HT's till now and my age right now is 27 and a half. I know this age is too early to have 2 Ht's but i was totally naive and less educated. Plus you feel the anxiety to have an HT when your hair starts loosing rapidly, which happened with me. My first HT was FUT, to make the receded hairline come back to normal ( to make the hairline ). It looked fine to begin with, but within 2 years when the hair on the back of the hairline started thinning more and i was left with the transplanted hairline in the front, it became very evident that the Doctor who performed my HT was terrible, as he had Transplanted a totally unnatural Hairline with the temples way too ahead and that looked very awkward. The doctor's Name was Dr. Amit Gupta from Advance Hair Studio, Mumbai, India. At this point i would like to tell you all that never have any hair treatment at Advanced Hair Studios ( AHS ). They are only good in advertisements, not at all good in hair treatments. And to top it over, Dr. Amit Gupta is terrible, He does not at all thinks about the possible outcomes a young person can have due to a bad HT. These people are only interested in money. Okay, so now i was 25, and i was having a totally UN-natural hairline and an FUT Strip Scar. And to top it over my crown hair started falling too. I felt restless and i wanted another HT. Also i want to let you know that i am an actor by profession, so for me, having good hair was important, otherwise i could have waited for another hair transplant. I used Toppik to survive, it helped me fine. But i decided not now. I wanted a good Ht now. I had work to pursue and that requires me to be looking good with a healthy mop of hair, Genuine Hair. So, i decided, i am going to have another HT. My motive this time was to : 1. have density in the hairline and to make it look natural 2. to correct the temples 3. also to fill in the crown I searched online and youtube, and i found one Dr. Gaurang Krishna, of Medlinks, New Delhi, India, whose work i liked. So, i went ahead and did a consultation with him. I told him about everything i wanted to achieve by this HT. He said okay, he will : 1. Give density and correct/repair the previous HT (only the hairline) to make it look natural. 2. he said he cannot correct the temples, and let it be that way. 3. for the crown, he said to wait for more 3 to 4 years as there is a chance of more hair fall there. And by the time he will give me PRP sessions to try to make my crown hair come back Now, i was in doubt, to do the HT or not, this time it was going to be a FUE procedure. After thinking for some time i went ahead with him as i thought atleast the hairline would be natural and have more density, and i can use toppik at the crown till the PRP Sessions work. It all made sense to me at that time (and i regret that today, as in the heat of things and in anxiety to make things better i forgot that the donor is limited, i got to give it at a doctors hand who is the best in the business and can fix all the things, atleast could have fixed my temples, if not the crown ). So, he did the FUE HT and i was on a waiting period then, to finish the 12 months and let the hair grow to see the final outcome. In this time i started other work / other than acting and thought after i grow hair i would be back at it, as that was my forte. The only good thing within this time was that my other work flourished and it helped me keep off the tensions related to my hair! Now 12-13 months passed, and the results of the latest FUE surgery were there, which i can see, but to my bad luck, it was not good, and not as i thought. What result i got : 1. Density was not as good as i wanted. Natural hairline was still not attained, the doctor only filled up as much he could in directionless manner. So, it was still very unnatural, with very less density. 2. temples were as decided, left alone, adding to the UN-naturalness appearance. 3. i had 3 PRP sessions, but they didn't work. I guess they did not know how to prepare a PRP in the first place, as if it would have been done correctly , some or the other benefits i would have gotten. But Nothing i got! Again i would say, Indian HT standards are way below the world. 4. The worst thing about this procedure was loosing some more hair from my Donor Area, which i might have used better if given those to an experienced surgeon. So, Now, what next, as i am, as on 19 April 2017, about to be 27 and a half years old, and i have an acting career to pursue. I also have some very good Film offers lined up from 2017 end and so much more Acting work which i can do. Till now, in my successful previous time at acting, before the 2nd HT (FUE, 2 YEARS BACK) i have managed to show good hair on camera, either by using Toppik, or by using partial Hair Systems. But Now i don't want to fake. I have researched a lot in this time and i have found answers to my questions. Mainly because of these online forums such as hairrestorationnetwork.com or baldtruthtalk.com etc and i am fully aware of what can be done. Also, in these last 2 years i have made friends with some of the Top actors here, and many of them have an HT, So natural, So good looking, Now i know that GOOD HAIR TRANSPLANTS can be achieved (but not in India). And after asking them, that how have they done it, all of them said that they have had an HT in U.S.A or in Europe. This was the affirmation i wanted, and i have it now. From the Last 4 months i have been in contact with some of the best HT Surgeons Offices in U.S.A and Europe and i have finally decided to have a 3rd HT and this time not to regret. The best part till now in my case, as i see is that i still have a good donor area and my hair has stopped falling( thanks to using Finasteride and Biotin, and healthy lifestyle habits {No smoking, eating well etc } ). I have decided on Doctor Bijan Feriduni, and at this point i totally think that he is among the best in the world. And i also have an HT Appointment in June from him. So, i'd be going to Belgium for the 3rd HT and i am super excited. Shall keep you posted with my Hair pics and the procedure.
  25. Gentel_man, I hope you are able to provide me with your name and date of surgery, I agree based on the pictures the results appear lackluster, but we should allow Dr. Feriduni the opportunity to explain what happened here and provide any possible explanations for the results.
