Advice for Hair Loss Sufferers Considering Hair Transplant Surgery

My Story

  1. Hi everyone! First of all I want to say thank you, with this forum I have found out alot of details about whats important when looking for a HT, otherwise I would probably just have chosen a hair mill for the cheapest price. As the topic says, I have decided on Dr Resul Yaman for approx 2500 grafts in early September. I will try to do this review as detailed as it can be, from arriving in Istanbul and get picked up by the driver, the hotel, the staff, Dr Resul Yaman himself and more.. Would love your input what you want me to cover. The plan is to do weekly updates with photos. Currently I am not on any medications as my hair pretty much looked the same for the past 5 years. I am 27 years old today. I am born with the temples being abit like this but in my 20s they became a little bit bigger. Lets start off with before photos. First my hair in dry condition and then my hair in wet condition.
  2. Hi, I want to do a hair transplant and found Dr Yaman through this forum. His assistant told me that there would be three steps: incision step, extraction step, and implantation step. Dr Yaman will only perform the first step by himself. I want to know if it is normal? I think the last two steps are much more important right? Does anyone go to Dr Yaman? Could you share your experience and opinions about it? Thank you!
  3. Hello! I live in Russia. I do not speak English well, so I use an interpreter, please understand me correctly. So, the first hair transplant was done in Moscow. Real Trans Hair Clinic. This is the only popular and presentable clinic in our country. I transplanted 2000 grafts, which was not enough for my type of alopecia. Quality suited, but the price tag was expensive. You will see in the photo their work as well. The back of my head began to shine a little, I decided to completely equalize the density of hair throughout the donor area. I chose a doctor for the second transplant, also focusing on the section of your forum - FIND a Prescreened Physician. In Turkey, you advise. Resul Yaman, ok, I went to him. The flight to Istanbul is fast, and the price tag is cheap. Now look what he did to my head. What do you think? Do you consider this the work of a professional? Firstly, he was in a great hurry, because he was also doing two more operations with me, is this normal? Secondly, 80% of the work was done by his assistants - children about 18 years old. The photos were taken 9 months after the operation. By the way reddening on the head did not take 3-4 months. At the first transplantation in Russia, redness ended after 5 days. As a result, we have the fact that Yaman destroyed the donor zone. Before the operation, I told him that the task was to straighten the density of the hair throughout the donor area, as a result, he simply chunks of the area from the head. Look at how much it aggravated the situation, I very much regret that I went to him, and now I just do not know what to do! Tell me please the best specialists who could improve the situation qualitatively. I do not care about saving money, I need quality and professionalism. The ugliness on my head that I have now, absolutely does not suit me. Please give me the most informative suggestions for further action! 4. Finally after 2 weeks of my HT I am getting round to writing a detailed review for my first HT. 12th April 4300 grafts with DR Resul Yaman I am 30 year old guy suffering from Hair loss for more than 6-7 year. Losing hair made me really depress and affected my confidence. In the last 2 years I become serious about searching for HT. Initially i was gona go for one of those cheap technician clinics in turkey, until I came across these forums and found out you search for a good surgeon not the clinic Why I choose Dr yaman, you find the link here and reasons for my decision. But one of the fundamental reasons was the recommendations here patients testimonies plus he was in my price range. I contacted loads of clinics and doctors all of them quoted me around 3500-4500 grafts but I found consultation from Dr Yaman and Yaman (patient representative) to be extremely good detailed and he even answered all my silly questions and trust me I had LOADS !! I had Skype CONSULTATION with Dr yaman initially I was quoted 4500 grafts I was advised to use finasteride 15 days prior to surgery but I refused to use it for obvious reasons. but I am taking supplements Biotin MSM flex seed oil CASTOR and rosemary oil massages Consultation on 11th April when I arrived I was picked up on time from airport and taken straight to clinic I had consultation with Dr Yaman, he talked through my hair line and answered all my questions and suggested 4700 grafts -he talks in Turkish and the translator does the translation I told them I just want hairline front and top done maybe I will come back for crown in 9 months to a year time. Dr agreed that it's a good idea and said then I don't need more than 4300 grafts. I was very happy with all the consultation. Taken back to hotel which is lovely . Make sure you make use of Sauna, Turkish Hamam and steam room in the hotel, because you can't for a month after surgery. Breakfast was included Surgery day I was picked up by driver at 9am. Dr did the incisions. and anaesthesia injections (which hurt-absolutely killer) but it's momentary pain and you get over it quickly. after incisions technician team took over and did the rest. I was very happy they took their time nothing felt rushed and I noticed good practices like changing gloves and masks every time they entered the room. Dr came checked on me few times as well so did Yaman the representative who is a lovely guy. Half Time I was offered lunch they also gave lunch to my gf and allowed her to take pics of me during surgery or whenever she wanted. After lunch repeat of first session. but this time anaesthesia injections were even more painful (maybe I am just a wimp ) I was extremely tired by end of all this. the whole things took 9 hrs . At one point I felt little dizzy, the whole clinic came to look after me checked my bp offered me some sugar and stopped everything. That was lovely Stayed in hotel for 3 nights but I was in turkey for 9 days. They happily dropped me to the other side of town as I saying further in Istanbul, which was very kind of them. Day 3 I went for wash and everything was perfect. I can't fault the service and experience so far. DAY 9 I was returning to London, the clinic contacted me offered me additional wash including pick and drop which is incredible I didn't even ask for it can't fault the service of Dr yaman team 10/10 Day 12I am on day 12 so far very happy but noticing loads of dandruff I haven't notice any shedding yet. I was charged 1 euro per graft including 3 night stay pickup and drop PRP I am attaching pics for you if any questions feel free to contact me. also feedback is appreciated I bought proscar from Istanbul and using it every other day and also ordered Minoxidil Kirkland. will be using it on temple and crown area. Thanks to the forum for recommendation for this, so far I am extremely satisfied, I can't fault anything, even if I try very hard ...
  5. Here is my experience, not going into much details, just the most important things to mention. DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH, CHOOSE THE DR/CLINIC THAT YOU ARE MOST COMFORTABLE WITH, there is a risk to everything we do in life, and this is just another one. This is my own personal experience (not a review of the clinic), I have appreciated others posting their own personal experiences, it helped a lot when researching, so here is to paying it forward and help others. I had a pleasant experience at Dr. Yaman’s clinic. I went for the doctor not the clinic. Shout out to Fikret, he was very helpful and made it happen with a short notice. Expect dizziness might happen to you while in surgery, but don’t panic, it is a clinic and they will have the proper care in case you need it. Unlike some other clinics. Do your research and make your own decision. Be prepared for a long day, I arrived at the clinic around 9:30 am, done by 9 pm, almost 12 hours. One thing is interesting about Dr Yaman if you have done your research, he does the incisions first, it is a very important step, as the next step is extracting the grafts. This important step reduces the wait time between extracting the grafts and planting them. Watch out for your head after surgery, I was advised to do so, yet I bumped my head in the shuttle, luckily it was the crown area and lost few precious grafts and bled a bit, it was at the moment we arrived at the clinic for the first wash. If you are traveling from the America’s or any place too far, I would advise to stay at least 3 days in Istanbul after surgery, I traveled the very next day after the hair wash and man did I regret it. Istanbul is relatively cheap, and few extra nights at the hotel won’t break the bank, this way you will have an even better experience. Do sleep at 45 degrees, it helped push the swelling to the back of the head instead of going down to your eyes and cheeks. Minimize tilting your head forward for the first 3 days. The headband won’t do anything more than help you limit the face swelling, but the liquids injected during the procedure has to go down somehow and get flushed through your system. So to reduce swelling of the face follow the steps I mentioned. I had 4380 grafts: -singles 625 -doubles 2772 -multiple 983 Medication: Biotin and saw palmetto multivitamin complex I might use rogain, haven’t decided yet. It is is to be used after 3rd week. I am on day 9, it seems my experience is a bit different than most people, I have a high pain tolerance in general, the pre surgery injections were not a problem, I didn’t struggle at all. But starting day 5 I felt the upper side areas of the back (donor area) are hurting a bit, as numbness started going away and day by day, it seems though the pain is getting worse especially on the right side. I mean I am struggling with finding a comfortable spot to sleep. My skin is super dry too, I ordered Aloe Vera gel and doing some massaging and icing and hoping it will help. The left side seems to do better. the pain is tolerable but I am not getting enough sleep because of it. Anyways, pictures here, I will update monthly after that.
  6. So I will go through the process and tell you everything. Step 1: Got picked up at the airport by the nicest driver, very friendly guy. Step 2: He drove me to the hotel, I arrived late so blood work was done the day of the transplant instead of the usual the day before. Step 3: Got into the hotel, a very nice 5 star hotel with room service which was very useful after the transplant and everything you need basically. Step 4: Got breakfast which was really nice one at the hotel, the driver was there to pick me up by the door outside, this was another driver, also very friendly guy. He drove me to the clinic. Step 5: Clinc & the transplantation, so I arrived at the clinic and got to meet the Dr, the girl in the reception and Fikret which I had been in touch with planning the transplant. Step 6: The Dr did some checks on my hair, he was using some instrument which could see the follicles and their health. So as I previously said I have not been losing any hair for the past 7 years, he checked the donor area and said it was excellent, the top of my head he said was in good health and that I should not lose anymore hair there as it looks for now. He then measured my hair to be 0,45mm thick which is between thin and medium hair thickness. Thick enough for a good result he said, because they were going to make it very dense. Also I was asking what density my native hair had in the donor and he measured it to be about 65 grafts/cm2. So then he drew a temporary hairline which I agreed looked good, I did not want any unnatural hairline very low, I told him I want maximum density and we agreed. He calculated by measuring the empty spots for it to be 2475 grafts. Also for the grafts/cm2 for the transplanted hair it was said its going to be a little bit lower than my native hair, I think he said about 45 grafts/cm2 but with longer hair you should not notice because of "illusion of density". Step 7: Proceeeding to get my blood work done by a cute girl who did possibly the best blood test I have ever done, she inserted the needle on the outer part of the arm instead of the usual innerside. Worked excellent, I hate blood work to be honest so this was great. The receptionist at the clinic was following me through these steps and she spoke very good english and was funny. Step 8: Draw the real hairline, which was done pretty fast since Dr Resul Yaman had before done a temporary line, he just made it more "perfect" the drawing on the skin and so he knows where to put the inicisions. Step 9: Local anestesia, so first Resul did some stapling which was "needle free" which to me hurt just as bad and I felt it was pretty bad also, it did not get very numb, then they did the real anestesia with needle and this was very painful, but as I am very afraid of needles and hate it it worked out pretty well anyways. Step 10: Incisions, Dr Resul Yaman started to do the incisions and it felt nothing, just some weird noise in the skin. He also did some PRP. Step 11: Extraction, the tech of Mohamed Yaman did almost all extractions with micromotor 0.8mm he said he used. He was very friendly and wanted to talk although he did not speak the greatest english we understood eachother perfectly fine. About when maybe 80% was done, Ufuk Yaman entered aswell and help him to pick up the hairs with some sort of tool. When they did maybe 50% themselves the other tech team which was going to do the implantation did come in and took over removing the grafts with the tool. This was pretty quick once they were punched out and I think up to 3 persons was working on my head. Step 12: Lunch, so I got some lunch which was really good, some chicken with rice and some sweet stuff that was supposed to be good to get my blood sugar up. Step 13: Implantation, they started again by giving me anestesia which was very unpleasant but pretty quickly until it was all numb again. Then they started to do the implantation, 2 techs, 1 guy and 1 girl, also another girl was in the room looking/helping the techs. She also gave me some serum which was supposed to be pain killer and antiseptic they gave me in the arm. During the implantation I felt nothing, it took pretty long time but its a very important step of course and they were good with me. Step 14: Extraction of another 150 grafts. So in the end of implantation they told me they needed some more grafts as they thought they could get some more grafts in there to get a even denser look as that was the point of it all. At this point I was really tired to I had to lay face down again and it felt like it took forever even though it probably took maybe 10-15 minutes and I am pretty sure it was done by the tech guy, not Ufuk or Mohamed Yaman. Step 15: Another round of implantation with the newly extracted grafts. I dont really know if the incisions were made for these new grafts by the techs or if they counted wrong the first time around, maybe they did new holes for these they did not tell me alot. They just show me some spots that could be denser and they wanted to put more grafts. They were supposed to take 2475 grafts but they said they need 150 more so 2475+150 should be 2625, when I counted each micromotor punch from the "another 150 grafts needed" I got it to be just over 200. Total amount said on paper was 2550 grafts. Step 16: I was cleaned abit and they check everything how it looks. Then they applied some antiseptic in the donor area and put bandage over, usually if they dont do temple work you are getting a headband. Step 17: Back to the clinic in the morning after the procedure to get cleaned again and they remove the bandage on the back of my head. They put some more antiseptic on the back of my head. I was given some multivitamins and some more guidance about detailed post procedure routines as Fikret already told me everything the day before and you also get a paper with all the details you need to know. Dr involvement for me was pretty good, Dr Yaman was after he did the incisions, he was there basically once every hour or so and he was very professional and I felt safe the whole procedure with him coming in once in a while as always he was very respectful saying the right things. The only thing I think he left earlier before my operation was finished because he was in for a last time to examine when about 90% was done, then when we were done maybe 1 hour after the last check and went out he was not there and he did not come in in the end to examine. Something worth mentioning is that I think the team is very professional especially Dr Yaman, Fikret and Ufuk Yaman & Mohamed Yaman which did the extraction. The girl in the reception is very friendly and likes to speak to the customers. I felt like the tech team who did implantation was a little more just get it done type, the girl who did implantation was nice but the guy like push my head a couple times pretty hard when I was all tired and just tried to lay as good as possible, I think his name was Öguz but I do not remember last name as it was written on his shirt. Another thing is that usually in my country when you do something the Dr/Nurse is always telling you what is happening, they did not tell me anything while they just started all the phases, would be good if they could maybe tell you now we start with anestesia, now we start with extraction, just a little bit left and you are good. Dr Yaman however did this, he told me as he was about to go into the next step. But maybe this is just because they are afraid to speak english, the only one with really good english is the receptionist and Fikret. A little bible but this is pretty much the whole process.
  7. The incision/channel opening is the most important step for him to be performing. The first and last steps are typically done by techs in most clinics. Use the search function to look for Dr Yaman results, he is forum recommended and you will find patient + clinic posted journeys. https://www.hairtransplantnetwork.com/physician/Turkey/Resul-Yaman/681
  8. Hello people, A few days ago I returned from an amazing 3 night trip in Istanbul where I underwent FUE surgery with Dr. Yaman and I thought I should share my results to similar people like me out there as I have learnt a lot from this forum. I'm 34 years old and have been suffering from hair loss gradually since the age of 25. It's mainly been diffuse thinning on top so I've used minoxidil for the past few years but I haven't seen many positive results from it. More recently (4 months ago), I have been using finasteride as recommend by my Doctor before surgery and so far I have not experienced any negative side effects. My diet is good, I weightlift daily and have been getting optimum sleep each night (8 hours) so these may also be contributing factors. I originally looked at various clinics like Asmed and Dr Cinik, but I decided to go with Dr. Yaman after seeing some fantastic results from other people here on the forums who had similar male pattern baldness to me. I decided that Turkey would be the best for me as I'm half Turkish myself and I have family in Istanbul so it made sense for me to make a trip from London to visit this wonderful city after many years. Previously, I'd also looked at London doctors but the results seemed somewhat average compared to specific Turkish doctors like Yaman who seemed more experienced and who were also considerably cheaper so I booked my flights. From the moment I landed in Istanbul at 6am I was picked up by my driver and taken to a lovely 5* hotel where I checked in and had 3 hours sleep before my consultation with Dr. Yaman as I was very tired from the night time flight from London at midnight with no sleep. A few hours later, I was then notified by hotel staff that my driver was outside and I was then off to see Dr Yaman for my consultation. Upon arriving at the clinic, I was welcomed by Fikret who was my contact at the clinic and also my translator as I'm not fluent in Turkish. He's a good guy and has helped answer all my questions on my hair loss journey this past year. I was actually meant to have my surgery booked in for April but due to the pandemic with covid I had to postpone it to August. This was actually better for me as it was quiet and the clinic were only seeing 2 people per day. It also meant that the airport was quiet which was nice and I ended up having a whole row to myself on the aeroplane both arriving and departing. The clinic looked clean and professional and had many floors for different plastic surgery procedures. From meeting Dr Yaman in person, I knew I made the right decision in choosing him to be my doctor for the hair transplant... he seemed very trustworthy and genuine and I liked his attitude. Dr. Yaman first looked at my hair through a computerised microscope and told me my donor area was strong and that I was a good candidate for the hair transplant because I had lots of double and triple grafts and he thought I wouldn't lose the majority of the remaining native hair left on my head. After analysing my hair he suggested I needed roughly 4500/4600 grafts and that the majority would be in the mid scalp area as he said I had a strong hairline so only single grafts were needed there. He also recommended that I do not use minoxidil for some time as my scalp seemed damaged from it. This was fine by me because I think minoxidil has had no positive effect on my hair from the moment I started using it. I've never actually seen any positive results from minoxidil, I used to think it actually made my hair loss worse in the past. Grafts: 4610 Single: 705 Double: 2863 Multiple: 1042 Surgery: On the day of my surgery I was picked up at 9am after having breakfast at my hotel and then met Dr. Yaman at the clinic who designed my hairline with me before taking me through for surgery for the incision phase. Before the incision process, Dr Yaman administered several anesthetic needles into my head to numb the area so I wouldn't feel any pain from the incisions he does with the sapphire blade. The only way to describe it is a crunching sound you hear as the blade penetrates your head several times as the doctor makes the channels in your head where the grafts will later be implanted. My hairline around my ear was slightly pointed and I wanted a more curved look so Dr Yaman even made some incisions there for me (see photo). The only pain I felt was from the needles and also the anaesthesia from a staple like machine which feels like your head is being stapled. You don't feel any pain from the incisions thankfully. After the channels were made I was given lunch containing koftes (Turkish meatballs) which were lovely and gave me the energy I needed for the next phase which was the extraction. The extraction phase was done by a great guy called Ufuk who was friendly and made me feel at ease straight away. More anaesthetic was given with the staple like machine which was uncomfortable before another round of injections were given to numb the pain During this process, holes were punched in my donor area with a motorised machine in order for my grafts to be extracted later by the implantation team. The extraction did not hurt but it was uncomfortable laying in the same position on your front for so long. After the holes were made by Ufuk, some members of the tech team entered the room and extracted my grafts. It basically felt like all your donor hairs were being plucked out in big batches. The last stage was the implantation process which was the longest part of the experience and took almost 3 hours by 3 women in the implantation team. They used Dr Yamans implantation tool to transfer my grafts into the incisions in my head which was very time consuming. At this point I was very tired after 9 hours and was given IV to help me through the last stage and this was also a painkiller. After they finished, my head was bandaged up and I was given some instructions on how to sleep with the inflatable pillow provided. The following day I returned to the clinic for my bandage to be taken off and then the next day I had my first hair wash by the clinic before being transferred back to the airport with my aftercare medications and shampoo for the next 10 days. I am very pleased with the whole experience and the doctor seems to think I will have positive results after seeing my transplanted hair after surgery. Thank you to Dr Yaman, Fikret, Ufuk and Tuncay for making my trip smooth and easy. I highly recommend Dr Yaman if you're thinking about a hair transplant in Turkey. They take care of everything from start to finish and the customer care is brilliant. I am still in contact with Fikret who has been great in answering all my queries after my operation. Today is day 8 and since day 4 I've been in excruciating pain day and night in my donor area (which has only allowed me to get an average of 3 hours sleep per night). The pain is a mixture of a burning and electric shock sensation. Apparently this is uncommon in people but is due to the severed nerve endings during the extraction process which takes a while to regenerate so right now all I'm taking is ibuprofen to help ease the pain but it isn't really helping. Hopefully the pain will subside soon because it's pretty unbearable. Below are some before pictures of my hair loss condition in normal and harsh lighting conditions aswell as my hair transplant result pictures on the day. I would like to say thank you to the forum mods for how this site is run and to the members/doctors who contribute to help spread knowledge on the battle against hair loss.
  9. The Turkey list has drastically changed the last few years. Only Dr Yaman and now the recent addition of Dr Bicer remain. Yes Dr B (India) was also removed.
  10. 2 Years Result -3220 grafts -610 single grafts -1780 double grafts -830 multiple grafts For more information about our new implanter; https://youtu.be/vYIx0yQY0Ww English +905456001234 info@resulyaman.com www.resulyaman.com
  11. HLC are one of the top choices in Turkey, some others would be Dr Pekiner, Dr Keser. Demirsoy and Yaman are low cost but are still involved in the transplant procedure. Dr Bicer is between the 2. Use the search function top left to find plenty of results on all of them. You could also consider Europe if you want to add some really good options, especially Dr Freitas (Spain) for example as he is doing some amazing work and awesome hairlines 👌
  12. Thanks, hopefully it will heal up just fine. One thing I notice is that they used alot of multiples? Also Mohamed Yaman the extraction guy commented it under surgery that there were "alot of nice 4s." This is the summary I got of different type of grafts.
  13. DHI is a marketing tool, what you need to decide is between FUT and FUE. Please can you show some pics of your current situation ? With hair loss starting early it’s good that your using the proven combo of Fin/Minox. You will need to stay on a med regime to help keep your current hair. If you come off it then it will progress further. Do not consider a transplant at Gro Clinic and just ask @Gatsbywhat the clinics are like in Australia! Please don’t go price hunting too much, you want a quality hair transplant from a Dr and not a “Hair Mill” where it will be a tech only procedure. Europe has loads of options, and you also have Eugenix (India) which may suit your needs if your a higher Norwood level already. If you do consider Turkey then look at Dr Bicer, HLC, Dr Pekiner and Dr Keser. Or even Dr Demirsoy or Dr Yaman. ASMED but only if you choose Dr Erdogan to do the channel opening. That’s pretty much it for clinics I would recommend there. Europe has lots of options, Dr Freitas, Dr Bisanga, Dr Pinto, Dr Ferreira, Dr Feriduni, Dr Couto, Dr Lorenzo and Dr Lapunzula. Also consider HDC @Doron Haratiand Vertex @DrTBarghouthi Hattigen (Swiss) and Dr Zarev (Bulgaria) are pretty impressive also. Be prepared to do some research into some of these proven names and also be prepared to travel if you want the best chance of a good result. Also realise that decent Clinics are mostly booked up in advance. You can do so much better than Australia clinics and the cheap nasty ones in Turkey.
  14. Please rule out the hair mills you mentioned, Cinik and Cosmedica who are tech based clinics as opposed to a skilled Dr. You could consider HDC, the rep is on the forum @Doron Haratithat would be approx €2 per graft. Tons of results and named Drs. So many other options, if your considering Turkey you could consult with the usual proven names - Dr Bicer, Dr Pekiner & Dr Keser. Affordable Drs without dipping in to hair mill territory are Dr Demirsoy and Dr Yaman. European options are Dr Bisanga, Dr Pinto, Dr Feriduni, Dr Ferreira, Dr Vila, Dr Freitas, Dr Couto and Dr Lapunzula. @DrTBarghouthiVerTex clinic is doing some really good work also.
  15. Hair of Istanbul is awful and yet another hair mill. The only names worth considering in Turkey are Dr Bicer, Dr Pekiner, Dr Keser and HLC. Or working from a budget it would be Dr Demirsoy or Dr Yaman. All of those have 1 or 2 patients per day and actual Dr involvement. The tech based procedures from the hair mills are a massive risk. ASMED is different if you was to choose the option where Dr Erdogan is involved in the crucial steps. Out of the 1000s of clinics in Turkey yes some turn out ok, but the vast majority do not. Absolutely not worth any risk, our donor area is finite and we have to be able to get the best chance possible ! This is going to involve a skilled Dr and not a unknown Tech.
  16. Hello Guys , I just recieved a mail from Dr Yaman assistant what do you think ? Hello Mr. Amin, This is Fikret Doğrucu, director of Dr. Yaman Hair Clinic. First of all thank you for your interest and prefering us for online consultation. After carefully examining and considering all photos and information mentioned at your request, Dr. Resul Yaman estimates for your operation about 3500 grafts. Your donor capacity and quality of your hair look good. When you have your hair transplantation, your hairline will be recreated with 1000 grafts symmetrically only by using single hairs to receive a natural look and we will reach healthy looking density on frontal, crown areas. To receive the most healthy and natural result, the density on frontal area should be high. Also Dr. Yaman will increase the density on the crown area with 2500 grafts between your existing hair. Dr Yaman recommends you to start taking Propecia or Finasteride (1mg./daily) minumum 15 day before your operation. If you don't want to take Finasteride or Propecia, in Turkey there are mixture multivitamines including SawPalmetto and Biotin in pharmacies, you can start taking a multivitamine after the operation. Usage of medical treatments is considered as prior condition in under post-operative warranty. If you go ahead with Dr.Yaman you should arrive to Istanbul 1 day before your operation day. Once you arrive, you are picked up from the airport to clinic for your blood tests and consulatation with Dr. Yaman. After your consultation, we apply PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma ) to implantation area. PRP helps us for 3 important areas in hair transplantation procedure:1.Keeping hair roots removed alive longer without any damage.2.Faster recovery of hair follicles placed and to provide lesser loss3.To stimulate and boost thin and weak hair follicles. About charges: We offer 2 different promotional packages to our patients: 1st Package: DHI with Yaman Implanter for 3250$ including; * Pre and post consultations with doctor * Blood analysis and PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) * DHI Operation * Post operative control and cure * Post operative medicines * Special shampoo and lotion for the first 10 washing * First washing by a specialist * 3 nights 5* hotel (double room-breakfast inc.) * Transfers (airport-hotel-clinic-airport) 2nd Package: Sapphire FUE for 2350$ including; * Pre and post consultations with doctor * Blood analysis and PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) * Operation * Post operative control and cure * Post operative medicines * Special shampoo and lotion for the first 10 washing * First washing by a specialist * 3 nights 5* hotel (double room-breakfast inc.) * Transfers (airport-hotel-clinic-airport) As attachment I am sending you your online consultation photos so you can see how these grafts will be distributed. The hairline will be designed by Dr. Yaman during your face-to-face consultation. These photos are only DRAFT.In the operation there are 3 major steps of the surgery which are incisions step, extraction step and implantation step. Incision step is the first step of the operation and it's performed with sapphiere blade by Dr. Yaman. I also confirm that your consultation, hair analysis, hairline design, local anesthesia and incision steps are completed by Dr. Yaman himself too. Extraction is performed with low speed modified micro motor by our extraction experts. We have 2 extractionist working with us. One of them is Dr. Yaman’s brother Muhammed Ali Yaman who has been working in our clinic for 6 years. The other is Dr. Yaman’s cousin Ufuk Yaman who has been working with us for 6 years. Both have been trained by Dr. Yaman himself personally. They perform only extraction step of the operation. Implantation is performed in 2 different ways considering the package you choose. If you choose DHI with Yaman implanter; implantation is perfomed by the implantation team with Yaman Implanter. Dr. Yaman worked on developing Yaman Implanter for 5 years and 2 years ago he took its patent. Since than we have been using Yaman Implanter for implantation step. Our implantation team members have been educated and trained personally by Dr. Yaman himself only to use Yaman Implanter. If you choose Sapphire FUE; implantation step is performed by Dr. Yaman’s experienced implantation team carefully with FUE technique
  17. Hi all, first time post. I was wondering if you could recommend the best budget clinics (<2 euros a graft?) for hair transplants. Reality is I do not think I will have a budget to go to good clinics which charge 3+ euros per graft. I know that some people will say do not trade cost for quality but I don't want to have that debate in this thread So far from reading a number of forums it seems like Demirsoy at Armamed is a good candidate and would fall into that category. Resul Yaman is recommended by this forum but I can't see much evidence of his work and doesn't seem to get recommended in random threads like others do. Who are others you would recommend looking in to? Thanks
  18. Just wanted to drop in and leave a comment about Dr. Yaman, Don't listen to the nay sayers bro, There is always going to be someone that fear mongers when it comes to a hair transplant. Speaking from experience you will be in fantastic hands with Dr. Yaman. I got my Hair transplant from him on April 26th (3500 grafts) and am coming up on the 4th month post recovery. My hair looks amazing bro, and I am so happy that I went with Dr. Yaman! The man is an artist of his craft. One word of advice when youre in Istanbul, Check out the Hagia Sophia Temple, Its incredible! Best of luck on your hair adventure bro!
  19. 10+ years of research ! The Turkey list has changed in recent years but if your looking for the best it has to offer then check out Dr Bicer, HLC, Dr Pekiner and Dr Keser. Or the more affordable in Dr Demirsoy or Dr Yaman. There is a Dr Bicer Female result here on the forum. I usually mention ASMED but only if you choose the top option where Dr Erdogan would be involved. However I don’t really consider Turkey as the place to go for female transplants. If you was to look through the forum for female results I doubt you would find many at all (from memory) I have seen some really good cases from Dr Bisanga (BHR) I’m sure either @Raphael84or @slcould assist.
  20. Hello my names omar. I’m new to this forum. I am thinking of getting a hair transplant done in Istanbul and have been doing a bit of research. However the more I read the more confused I’m getting. I was hoping for some help and recommendations. I apologise in advance if something like this has been asked already. So my issues are as follows: 1) I did the usual online searches and loads of places popped up. They all have positive reviews. However non of them are being recommended/used by members on here. Is there any particular reason for this? I did contact a couple of them (hairneva, Cosmedica, asli tarcan). I was told I needed 4,000-4,500 grafts and was quoted roughly €1,600 for the entire package including accommodation etc which I found sounded too good a deal to be an excellent job. Offcourse I may be wrong. 2) I understand there’s no such thing as “the best” clinic or surgeon but would anyone be able to suggest a couple of places I could contact. I don’t have a budget as long as I know I went to a top surgeon. I have so far seen dr bicer and dr yaman mentioned a few times. Are they supposed to be one of the best or are there other more high end surgeons? I have attached some photos as well if they’re of any use. Please help guys!
  21. I will do a review of Dr Resul Yaman in Istanbul which is 1 EUR per graft, he is the most affordable non-hair mill at the moment. My hair transplant is just a few days away so you could check out my thread if you want to see.
  22. Please stay away from the “hair mills” your looking at ! They are nothing more than tech team’s performing the procedure. The only names you should consider will be Dr Bicer, HLC, Dr Pekiner and Dr Keser. Or the more affordable options like Dr Demirsoy or Dr Yaman. The difference being is that all of these involve the Dr doing part of the procedure.
  23. If I were you I would start using minoxidil 5% and/or taking finasteride(1mg/day) right now and look to book the operation with Bicer/Demirsoy/Yaman in the spring next year, just to give meds some time to do the work.
  24. 2 Years Result -4450 grafts -790 single grafts -2470 double grafts -1190 multiple grafts For more information about our new implanter; https://youtu.be/vYIx0yQY0Ww English +905456001234 info@resulyaman.com www.resulyaman.com
  25. Thanks for the answer and advice, I am 29 years old, i dont use any meds I'll contact the affordable clinics you mention Dr Yaman and Dr Demirsoy
