Thought i would add a new thread rather than adding to the old one. 6HTs- even i cant believe it!!!!!!!!! Well have been in the chair again with Dr Ron Shapiro on the 19th March, this time round got 1541grafts, grafts were placed in and around the hairline but most behind hairline and going back. Pic is 5 days post op.

Hey Spex, so hows the finpecia working out for you?? i may try this when my fin runs out, just recently got some more...i payed ?5.50 via a private prescription form my local GP for a 28pack of 5mg finasteride(very cheap) where do you get your finpecia from and the cost??

In certain light it would look a little odd, if i was going out with friends i would always add dermatch to the area which has now been worked on( that stuff always made me feel fake!) , so hoping wont have to use that stuff again. Cheers aaron

I believe ziering medical have taken over the HT section of the hospital group, i had my very first HT with them (did no research!!) was a BIG mistake!! I doubt they are any better now, stay clear n do your research

im not sure about that too!! i cut my fin 5mg tablets into 4 pieces (1.25mg) to difficult to cut into 5 pieces, tho have been looking at finpecia as comes in 1mg tablets, but am sure these would cost alot more than what i pay at the mo.

Hi spanker, thats around 7690g!!!!!i must be one of those freaks ;-) As for paying for them, thats a real issue for me-family have helped and of course have to pay them back.

Well guess what?? So hoping this will sort that. Plus this is my 6th HT!!!!!!!!!!! Hope Janna will add my pics.

i have read somewhere on the forums that the ink used will fade over time or even change color, is this correct?

Hi and thanks, i think thats where i got my last order a while back, but really only want the unscented version, as the normal foam has a very strong smell! after having another look around i found express chemist online, the description says unscented so might order from them.

tried looking around the net for the UNSCENTED rogaine foam in the UK but cant find it anywhere, any help finding it would be great, thanks.

Hello all, not posted much for a while, but still been lurking !! Anyone that followed my story will know a year ago i had my 4th HT at SMG with Dr Ron Shapiro and that i was going back to have a scar revision to take out my low wide scar from the hospital group, well thats what ive done! not only the scar revision but also had around 450-460 extra grafts added plus 16( i think) coarse hairs punched out from the left side. Hopefully Janna will add my pics soon.

Hi all, quick update, now 2 months post op. I have shed most of the grafts now, theres some that didnt shed which i think may have started to grow! Some numbness around the left donor area, but slowly coming back. My hairline and behind hairline is still pink in areas am using witch hazel, not sure how effective that is tho. My scar is still red/pink, may have stretched a little! kinda hard to tell. Could some of the red/pink be from where the sutures where?

Whered it go - im 12 days post op, not 12 months. But im looking forward to that point when it starts growing and then at 12 months im sure it will look great. I was not satisfied with the result from dr rogers, left me with big gaps in the hairline and very sparse behind the hairline.For my 3rd with Dr Feller, he filled in these gaps and behind, the result was much better. As time went on i felt i needed a slight touch up to the hairline and again add grafts to behind hairline. Dr Feller does great work, it was a hard chice, i went with Dr Shapiro as the more i looked at his work past and present, the more i leened toward smg. Smg did not offer or do anything to make a difference it was MY choice and mine alone.

Hi Bul- didnt see much of minessota, they were having bad snow storms when i was there but did go to mall of america which was great. Sparky-it was the HG at wellesbourne that i went to aswell. Have you had a repair, or looking to?
