  1. Needforhair, You should check out Pat's review on the European clinics that he visited. Some of them sound very promising. His review is listed under "Visits to Leading Hair Transplant Clinics." GuitarPlayer
  2. Norwegian123, I would check out Pat's review of clinics he visited in Europe. It's under "Visits to Leading Hair Transplant Clinics." It sounds like there may be some promising clinics over there. Regarding North American clinics, I would agree with "wanthairs" recommendations. Like wanthairs, I also had a procedure with Dr. Jeffrey Epstein, who I'd highly recommend. You may also want to look into Dr. Ron Shapiro and Dr. Paul Rose. Take your time and find the right doctor for you. GuitarPlayer
  3. Norwegian123, I would sit tight for a few days. Pat is over in Europe right now as we speak exploring clinics all over the continent. There has to be at least a few clinics over there that do good work. By the way, I have been to Norway a few times and loved it. It was my favorite country in all of Europe. Was your surgery performed in Norway or was it elsewhere in Europe? GuitarPlayer
  4. Not to add more confusion to your decision, but there is also Dr. Epstein and Dr. Rose now performing procedures in New York City. You really have an excellent group of docs in New York City from which to choose. Take your time with your consults and research and find the doctor who is right for you.
  5. Check out Dr. Epstein in Miami. He has special expertise in the area of repairs and is also a plastic surgeon.
  6. From what I understand, "pitting" is the result of placing the grafts too deep. On the other hand, "bumps" are usually the result of using large grafts.
  7. Dyson, What was the name of your doctor? I have never read anything about hair transplant doctors in China, good or bad. Did you receive follicular units? How many grafts? GuitarPlayer
  8. Jame61, I have not had work done by Dr. Griffin, but I know that he has a very good reputation. Did you try the search option on this site? I have never read any negatives about Dr. Griffin. GuitarPlayer
  9. Browny, I don't have any personal experience with Dr. Martinick, but I have never heard a bad thing about her. Most of her patients seem to be very satisfied. Perhaps you may want to run a search on this board to see what some of her patients have said about her. GuitarPlayer
  10. Bezane, Where did you hear that Bono had a hair transplant? I have never heard this and am a major rock n roll fan. GuitarPlayer
  11. Hairbank, Thanks for sharing that link. That is an excellent article comparing Propecia and Avodart, from a reputable doctor no-less. GuitarPlayer
  12. JakeVig, Is Ron Shapiro himself recommending the Laser Comb? I haven't heard this. GuitarPlayer
  13. The scalp exercises that M&M speaks of are the only thing I know of to help improve scalp laxity. I believe the more time in between surgeries also helps the laxity.
  14. Dr. Seager is highly regarded by both patients and other doctors alike. He doesn't do much marketing online. I have never read anything even slightly negative about him or his results.
  15. DannyG, Most of the top docs are performing the tricho technique as standard procedure. I haven't heard of any of them charging extra for this. GuitarPlayer
