  1. No problem Mane: You picked the best doctor on the planet. His results are like 95% home runs, 4% really good and 1% decent. Plus his care, artistry and concern for the patient are about as good as it gets. I have met with him on three occasions and always came away impressed. It seems like most scar issues resolve themselves over the first 12 months.
  2. Alot of grafts, but a really nice improvement.
  3. I definitely wouldn't be happy with this result. Many guys with similar loss patterns have came out of Rahal's office with similar graft counts and much better results. This is a typical reason why I have waited to get a HT. Your hair looks good buzzed short. I would just keep it buzzed and move on.
  4. Everything looks great. You closed off the triangles. What more could you ask for?
  5. I think your results look great. I remember when you got your first transplant and I always thought the temple points looked a bit overdone, but now it all seems to work well. Congrats!
  6. The Chinese buffet next door to Adams is a great place to eat and no worries about a big crowd seeing you.
  7. Maybe not the best idea but it does look good. http://vids.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=vids.individual&VideoID=54765915

  9. I saw this on another site and wondered if it has been discussed on this site? http://www.medhunters.com/job/919480.html
  10. I totally respect that you are one doctor who is not afraid to put their thoughts, ideas and advancements in front of the public eyes. Your efforts are appreciated. So if you are ever in need of a fresh scalp to use as a guinea pig for a new product or technique feel free to PM me. Sadly enough I can't afford a proper transplant at this time but I do wish to donate my head to science and the benefit of others.
  11. I will go with 2,068. If back hair is included then my guess will be 3,849.
  12. No worries about a sunburned forehead this summer. This looks awesome. I can't wait to see the Faux hawk.
  13. You have the typical Island pattern forming. This is not so unusual. But you have a chance at regrowth based on your age and recent start up of Propecia. maybe drop the Rogaine for now and just see how the Propecia works for you. Rogaine is a messy lifelong commitment.
  14. You are a short flight from Hasson and Wong in Vancouver. Or maybe Alexander in Phoenix. You are looking at about $12,000 to $15,000 to thicken up your scalp although you hair still looks pretty good to me. 3,000 to 4,000 grafts most likely to strengthen the front and add some density to the mid section. Skip the San Francisco doctors and go to one of the best even if it means spending a few more $$$$.
  15. Nice results. Dr. Alexander has proven to be my favorite US doctor. Just a tiny bit on the conservative side but always very consistant results.
  16. Anyone interested in trying Dut pleae send me a PM.
  17. Thanks Joe, If I may ask are you still taking it?
  18. Nice job on the website as usual. H&W is definitely a class act. I was wondering in the Hair Loss Drugs section there is no mention of Avodart although your office recommends the use of it on various occasions. How many patients percentage wise would you say are using the drug?
  19. If the main thread is going to be removed then I think it would be best if we as posters found some of our more memorable posts from that thread and repost them here. Here is one of the better ones from Pat: I got a real chuckle out of this video in which, Dr. Armani says that "FUE is simply removing the hair one by one by using the microscope. And there's no surgical dissection, no cutting, no scalpel." I wish the amateur interviewer would have followed up by asking Dr. Armani "So how does the microscope remove the hairs from the scalp?" Notice how Dr. Armani dances around and evades admitting that he uses a punch to cut into the scalp in order to remove the follicle or that he makes incisions in the scalp to place the grafts. He then goes on about how its all about artistry . . . Then he states - "It really is more art than surgery." Then realizing his mistake in actually admitting that his surgery really is surgery he tries to recover from his stumble by saying ". . . we're really not doing much surgery, especially with the FUE technique." Then Dr. Armani really stumbles over his words and says "We're really not doing any surgery at all." To hear him talk you would think he were giving his patients a cut and blow dry. Hot air is blowing for sure but it's not coming out of a hair dryer. Watch and enjoy it while you can before they pull the video off the Web: http://revver.com/video/230980/alvi-armanis-award-winning-hair-transplant-technique-fue/ To see video and animations of how the FUE surgery is actually performed using a punch visit http://www.hairtransplantnetwo...gical-procedures.asp
  20. The reverse mohawk for balding guys is my favorite
  21. Pat, I am not trying to start a fight here. I was only voicing my opinion that I thought it was strange that the whole lawsuit thread would be removed from public viewing. I respect you standing up to Dr. Armani, but I don't understand the reasoning for removing the lawsuit thread entirely. Alot of good information was posted in the 12 pages of that thread.
