a trick you can do is trim the sides and back of your head, like a fade and it makes the top look thicker, though i think a trim is enough for you so it will look natural. goodluck

wow it seems that hasson and wong guys are really good with putting grafts into existing hair. i guess i see why they are so expensive. :,( i dont know when ill be able to save enough for ht, with them increasing costs.

hey thanks for posting your progress. just one favor if you can have the same haircut that you had for the first photo throughout the process. it is a short haircut and shows more detail. when you grow your hair it kindof hides some hairloss. thanks again. i am on meds and can tell you it might not grow hair but atleast keep what you have. goodluck

hey if there is a known history of baldness is it a good advice to get kids at 19 on meds, at the start(thinning) before it gets to be noticeable?

before you consider hair transplant, i suggest you get on meds, finasteride - called finpecia in india and minoxidol. after staying on that for a year your hairloss will be stabilized and when going to a doctor you can get a better assesment.

I dont know if you seen the car insurance company that gives quotes to all the well known companies. similarly seen we have these coalition doctors who are well known we can have a reliable dialogue that may lead to a better decision process.

most people find minoxidal a scalp irritant. this can be solved by using rogaine foam, 80-90 percent less irritant on th scalp.

hari well, the drug effects 2% of the users. mostly its a mind game, if you feel it does something to your sex drive it will, if you dont then it wont. i have been using it for a year, im 24 now. i have yet to see any sexual effects. as well i have actually regrown hairline hair. as far as hair transplants go, any surgery is to be feared, its all what your looking for in your life. i hope in another ten years theyll make a miracle drug that cures hairloss completely, but until then hairtransplant plus finasteride seem to be the only viable solution. goodluck

hi sahil if the marriage is already fixed why did you want to rush into a hair transplant. i know your depressed now. but what were you thinking did you read any of the posts on this forum. the best thing you could have done was get on generic propecia, finasteride, which is produced by dr reddys lab as finpecia. waited a year and seen to stabilize your hairloss. there really arent real side effects other then ones people build up in their mind. nonetheless, you should get on the drug asap. as far as the transplant goes im not sure what type your doctor did...micro..punch or the best follicular unit transplant. but as long as your going for typical combover you should be ok to comb you hair from one side to other. the hair should take 5-6 months to get to that position. 120000 rupees is close 3,000 dollars for that amt you should have went to doctor AP... damn i feel like im promo ing him... ok this is only because he does do folicular unit transplant... but otherwise ... ok dude your getting married god willing since she already said yes she loves you for who you are and not b/c of your hair. you can always get repair surgery.. later in your life. just enjoy life for now and get on the drug.

hi hari hey dude, feel ur pain. i guess first thing you should do is get on generic finastride, Dr. reddys lab makes it as finpecia. 1mg daily. its what is referred to by brand name as propecia. now after about a year you will see where your hairloss is the drug will stabilize it and may regrow some that fell out. since you are young it will give you best results. after a year 2 is better you can weigh in your option seeing your head if you want a hair transplant. there is so far only one doctor known in india to perform follicular unit transplant, the latest and best method. all other doctors are using outdated punch graft methods which will scar you heavily. the doctor is AP in delhi. he charges around 1 dollar a graft so that can be anywhere from 40-45 rupees a graft. if your going for a mega session look into spending 1 lakh to 2 lakh minimum. im not advocating this doctor only from seeing pics and other forum posts can say this is your closest bet. but if your a rich punk, you can always try the best in us or canada, they will be on the coalition list. but before anything get on that drug, and stick with it. even if you dont see improvement ie new hair growth, it will retain existing hair. goodluck
