  1. Since you are already in the Chicago land area schedule an appointment w/ Dr. Konior. You don't have to leave the state to get 1st class work. There is no charge to have a consultation. Dr. Konior isn't as active as others, but that does NOT take away from his abilities as being a top notch Dr. Good luck!
  2. NGTGB.. DUDE! You are a TRIP! I start laughing BEFORE i even read your posts. Where in the world do you come up w/ this stuff??? Oh.. and leave Jess out of this.. 'we' yes, WE are having a baby so get over it:P As for the original topic...you mentioned getting a sub par HT.. i would not recommend rushing into anything and doing your homework..you can always attain or fix credit. Once you have abused your donor hair, its GONE. GL. Everyone here is pointing you in the right direction. Take your time and you'll be fine.
  3. Thank you for the compliments. One thing i have noticed is the longer my hair gets, the more native hair i see coming out. I was so reluctant about taking meds. I might reconsider. Is it normal to see a halt in hair loss the following months of a surgery? It seemed like it all slowed down considerably. I keep reading all over the boards about experiencing more growth.. we shall see. It feels as though i wont get any substantial growth at this point. *shrugs* My only regret at this point is not putting more thought into my hairline. Looking back, i would of opted for a more jagged hairline as opposed to a round one. I'm not sure why the pics uploaded so small? They were pretty high resolution ...
  4. Here are some random 6.5 month pics. As always, any and all comments are welcome. Sorry! I look like a TOOL in this pic..lol Hairline pic.. Right side.. Left side... Random pic W/ pomade in my hair
  5. 1st off let me apologize if I offended anyone by insinuating foul play...as wrong as it reads that was not my intentions. I'll be honest. I didn't think it had been altered. I honestly thought they were TWO different people. As for having time, I wont apologize for having spare time to look at before & after pics after investing a large sum of money in a HT...It also brings to light the true magnitude of what a quality HT can accomplish. There is something to be said if you have to study a pic to determine if it's indeed the same person or not...I think it gives great hope to other potential HT patients. Maybe if MORE people 'wasted' more time on here doing their homework, they wouldn't suffer poor HT results, by having taking the time to thoroughly educate themselves before taking the plunge.
  6. Yes the ear. They don't seem to match. They have different 'ear prints' I dunno, maybe its just me? IF that is indeed the same person, thats one hell of a transformation. *shrugs*
  7. http://www.hassonandwong.com/patient_gallery/photo_view...type=normal&nwScale= Ok, so he lost some weight and maybe had some other work done. But... does anyone else see the differences in these pics? Particularly the profile pic? I have studied every wrinkle in his ear, difference in the nose and MOST importantly the design of his ear. The ears do not match up. There are very obvious differences here... Anyone?

  9. Does anyone have any hi res. close ups of what a trich closure looks like all healed up? I was also wondering.. can anyone else feel a 'ridge' along the scar. I'm at my 6 month mark so i know it has more healing to go, but i just kind of wanted to compare where i was vs. others. Also.. one other quick question. I have read over and over again about waiting until the full 12-16 months to make a overall assessment. Was it normal to feel like to made greater results at the 3-4 month mark rather than later. I mean I' can definitely see a cosmetic change, but it almost seems as if my 4 month pic shows better results that where i am currently. Areas that didn't look so sparse now do. I will get some 6 months pics up today. Does anyone know how I can make the link to my photo album smaller.

  11. Dr. Konior stays w/you through THE ENTIRE PROCESS! Some people do not mind, some do. I did. It's a great feeling knowing the 'Boss' is right there. There was a tech assisting him place grafts, but he was pluggn' {no pun intended} right along the entire time. Very intensely too, i might add.
  12. Thanks Nelly! I told the wife if this was as good as it got I would be pretty happy. But I know its just began..should thicken up and make a nice cosmetic change in my appearance. I was the guy who ALWAYS was wearing a hat. I hardly ever wear a hat now..people that seen me on a daily basis had no idea what my hair looked like before. I have had a few 'going bald' comments, but they were from people who NEVER seen me without a hat. Its a little frustrating but its to be expected...I would do it again tomorrow.
  13. Sorry I have not updated my Photo Album like i wanted. But I do have pics from the beginning to now. I WILL update it soon. For now here a few pics taken yesterday, 4 months post op... All pics taken with NO flash and with a cheap 3.2 Kodak point & shoot. This pic is 2 months post op... the rest are ALL 4 months... If you would like to see any other angle let me know I can snap it, or at least try to.. I welcome ANY and ALL comments.
  14. Its hard to see your head with all that hair in the way I dont think anyone is telling not to get a HT, simply at this point in time you dont *need* one. Its all subjective. If you want to have your temple filled in, by all means do your homework and go have it done. GL.
  15. Allow me to be the 1st to welcome you to this site... Welcome! You have made the 1st step in finding this site. 2nd before you make ANY decisions PLEASE read as much as you can on here..There is a wealth of information to be had on here. I recommend using the find feature, it works well on this site. One thing you will learn, distance of your Dr. will be on the bottom of your list. The price of airfare will be a great investment VS. a POOR quality HT. Good luck and READ READ READ....
